Differential lock mounting kit for the Land Rover Defender - Precise retrofitting made easy To facilitate the installation of the standard differential locks (Detroit Truetrac / Detroit Locker / KAM Locker) in the Rover and P38 axles of the Defender, we have put together an installation kit which contains all the necessary materials. It is NOT suitable for the Salisbury axle! Comes with: 2 bearings RTC3095OE 3 litres of hypoid gear oil GL5 Petec silicone sealant thread sealant, intermediate strength This kit does not substitute the necessary technical expertise and accuracy when fitting a diff locker. If you don't feel up to the job, please have a specialised  garage do the fitting as otherwise expensive damage to both locker and axle might ensue. After re-filling the diffs there will remain a rest of about 1/2 liter. This can be used for topping up the axles at a later time or to top up the LT230 transmission gearbox.

Windscreen Bracket Kit for Land Rover Defender The original windscreen support brackets on the Defender are one of those details on the car that sooner or later cry out for cosmetic surgery. All kinds of corrosion – by exposure, metal contact, environmental or automotive chemicals – affect the parts and simply make them look shabby. The result is rust, peeling paint and streaking on the bodywork. Fortunately, replacing the brackets is one of the easiest jobs on the Landy. Our replacement brackets are available in two versions: black powder-coated or anodized aluminum. Both processes - anodizing and powder coating - ensure extremely resistant and durable sealing of the aluminum parts. During anodizing, electrolysis creates a porous surface structure, which is particularly suitable to absorb color pigments. In a last step, the anodizing is then compacted and thus sealed. However, black anodized aluminum tends to fade, which is why we have opted for powder coating for the deep black option. If you’re aiming for a look other than black or aluminum gray, you can of course paint it yourself or have it painted. You can also achieve your desired custom effect with our range of RAPTOR products. Repair panel rear sump for Defender 110 Td4, Td5 and Tdi Rust thrives best when it is hidden, especially when corners, angles or edges favour the constant accumulation of water and damp dirt. This is why Defender 110 Station Wagons often have hidden rust spots under the rear seat bench mount or on the frame holder. To avoid having to replace the entire base plate of the rear tub in the event of advanced contact corrosion, we now offer an exclusive, easy-to-fit repair kit for the particularly susceptible area under the seat bench. The kit consists of the main plate, two side parts and sufficient rivets. For installation (see pictures), the existing welding points on the rear tub are first drilled out. The sheet metal is then simply positioned accordingly, glued in place with body sealant and fixed at the sides with clamps. Once dry, drill the sheet metal at the pre-drilled welding points and insert the rivets. The two side panels are then attached in the same way. Glow plug connector Land Rover Defender If the diesel has difficulty getting going when starting from cold, and if it nails and smokes particularly badly, this is often due to the glow plugs. Before replacing the plugs, however, you should first check the condition of the cables and plugs. Often, the problem is simply that cables and plugs are exposed through porous plastic sheathing and the electrical contacts are suffering. As a rule, the service life of the plugs far exceeds that of the cable and plug connections, because cables and plugs and their insulation are naturally much more exposed to mechanical and weather-related influences. With our glow plug connector repair kits, Defender with Td5 and Td4 2.4l engines can be very easily retrofitted in case of problems with cables or connectors. This is also recommended if the glow plug set is being replaced anyway. The advantage of the repair kit is that the next time a problem occurs, it is not necessary to replace the entire wiring harness at great expense; instead, it is sufficient to replace the plug and cable up to the crimp connection. This saves time and money and is also no problem for hobby screwdrivers. ATTENTION: Does NOT fit for Tdi and Td4 2,2l. Scope of delivery: 4 plugs

Cruise control for Land Rover Defender Td5 MY02-MY07 Especially on longer journeys, it's quite tiring to hold the throttle in the Defender. Our new cruise control puts an end to that.Now, at the touch of a button, Defender will maintain the desired cruising speed. The cruise control takes over the current speed and maintains it - exceptions:    if the engine power is insufficient (e.g. high speed and at the same time a significant rise in the road), the cruise control switches off for safety reasons.     when the brake or clutch pedal is pressed.The cruise control is operated via 2 supplied stainless steel buttons:    a SET button to hold and increase the current speed.     a RESET button for switching off the cruise control, as well as for resuming the last set speed.The delivery is made as a complete set incl. detailed and illustrated instructions, which also enable "occasional screwdrivers" to assemble it.Time required: about 1-2 hours.Conclusion: A "must" for all those who often drive on the motorway or undertake long-distance journeys - even the journey to the port in Genoa, for example, becomes a "relaxing" experience...Please note: Really only suitable for Td5 MY02-MY07. The decisive factor is the installed control unit. The identification number of the control unit must start with NNN or NNW! If the identification number begins with MSB, this cruise control is not suitable.
