Glow plug connector Land Rover Defender If the diesel has difficulty getting going when starting from cold, and if it nails and smokes particularly badly, this is often due to the glow plugs. Before replacing the plugs, however, you should first check the condition of the cables and plugs. Often, the problem is simply that cables and plugs are exposed through porous plastic sheathing and the electrical contacts are suffering. As a rule, the service life of the plugs far exceeds that of the cable and plug connections, because cables and plugs and their insulation are naturally much more exposed to mechanical and weather-related influences. With our glow plug connector repair kits, Defender with Td5 and Td4 2.4l engines can be very easily retrofitted in case of problems with cables or connectors. This is also recommended if the glow plug set is being replaced anyway. The advantage of the repair kit is that the next time a problem occurs, it is not necessary to replace the entire wiring harness at great expense; instead, it is sufficient to replace the plug and cable up to the crimp connection. This saves time and money and is also no problem for hobby screwdrivers. ATTENTION: Does NOT fit for Tdi and Td4 2,2l. Scope of delivery: 4 plugs

Nakatanenga Ventilation Panels Sliding Window Boot- Land Rover Defender until MY2016 It’s probably fair to say that the sliding rear windows on the Defender are more of a charming anachronism than a fully usable window. Due to their size and the horizontal sliding direction, it makes little sense to have them open while driving – especially in rainy weather or dusty conditions. And while parked, they are an open invitation for burglars and thieves.That’s why we have expanded our range of ventilation plates and are now offering them for both sides of the rear sliding windows in the old Landy (up to MY 2016). The plates have a folding mechanism in the middle that allows for vertical positioning in the open window. By pushing the windowpane forward and locking it, the ventilation plate sits firmly in position – allowing for perfect ventilation without compromising comfort or security while driving or parking.A standard feature of our ventilation plates is the insect mesh inside the horizontal ventilation slits. Peace of mind is guaranteed, whether it’s two or six-legged pests. Water run-off or spray is also kept out of the inside of your Defender. Cruise control for Land Rover Defender Td5 MY02-MY07 Especially on longer journeys, it's quite tiring to hold the throttle in the Defender. Our new cruise control puts an end to that.Now, at the touch of a button, Defender will maintain the desired cruising speed. The cruise control takes over the current speed and maintains it - exceptions:    if the engine power is insufficient (e.g. high speed and at the same time a significant rise in the road), the cruise control switches off for safety reasons.     when the brake or clutch pedal is pressed.The cruise control is operated via 2 supplied stainless steel buttons:    a SET button to hold and increase the current speed.     a RESET button for switching off the cruise control, as well as for resuming the last set speed.The delivery is made as a complete set incl. detailed and illustrated instructions, which also enable "occasional screwdrivers" to assemble it.Time required: about 1-2 hours.Conclusion: A "must" for all those who often drive on the motorway or undertake long-distance journeys - even the journey to the port in Genoa, for example, becomes a "relaxing" experience...Please note: Really only suitable for Td5 MY02-MY07. The decisive factor is the installed control unit. The identification number of the control unit must start with NNN or NNW! If the identification number begins with MSB, this cruise control is not suitable.

Clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4 You can choose between a clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4 up to chassis number 8A999999 and a clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4 from chassis number 9A000001.ATTENTION: Occasionally, different clutch release bearings may have been fitted by previous owners. If you are not sure which clutch slave cylinder you need for your release bearing, please order the other clutch slave cylinder. You can then test both and return the non-fitting part to us within 4 weeks in its original packaging.

Differential protection for Land Rover Discovery 1 for front and rear differential  Few components on an off-roader are as exposed as the differentials of the front and rear axles. It doesn't take long for costly damage to occur when hitting a stone, which usually cannot be repaired on site and therefore means the end of the journey. What is annoying in the off-road park at home can quickly become dangerous in more remote regions of the world. We have therefore designed appropriate protective devices for the various axles of the Land Rover Defender, which protect the differential covers from damage and in some cases also allow easier sliding over the obstacle.

Improved braking performance & durability After having been proven and tested for many years, stainless steel brake hoses are now becoming accepted in the off-road scene. The advantages the steel braided PTFE hoses have over customary rubber brake hoses are manifold: no expansion of brake lines under braking no expansion due to hot brake fluid under frequent braking very precise brake response no loss of braking power, resulting in shorter stopping distance precise modulation of braking power improved protection from damage through stones, branches, etc., especially important when off-road driving individually tested by manufacturer at 400 bar pressure New and only at Nakatanenga: these steel braided hoses for Land Rover Defender come with a special mount and fastening material to ensure safe mounting of the brake lines to the rear axle. This in-house developed mounting is made from stainless steel and thus also corrosion free. Our brake lines are 50 mm longer than the original hoses and thus suitable for larger axle travel, e.g. for lifted vehicles. They are sufficient for vehicle lifting kits upt to 90 mm. If you require different lengths, please contact us. These brake lines come with a TUV certificate of approval. In Germany such changes to the brake lines have to be TUV registered for your vehicle. We recommend to check brake fluid level and if necessary a replacement of the brake fluid. The hydraulic system has to be bled after fitting new brake lines. Any work on the braking system should always be carried out by a trained mechanic! Please choose the model year of your Land Rover Defender and whether it has ABS fittedor not: Stainless steel braided brake lines for all Land Rover Defender; 50 mm longer than standard.
