This is unpleasant and you can easily hurt yourself - as we know from personal experience.That's why we decided to offer a suitable handle for the Cargobear. In addition to the tried-and-tested CargoBear handle, a version with an adapter plate is available. The individual handle is fitted directly into the grooves of the CargoBear. Depending on the desired position, it is therefore easiest to fit it whilst the roof rack has not yet been fully assembled or fitted. The version featuring the handle with an adapter plate offers significantly greater flexibility: the adapter plate makes it easier to retrofit the handle to a CargoBear that has already been fitted, without having to go to the trouble of dismantling the roof rack.
