This is where the Vision X CG2 CPZ110 Light Cannon really show what they can do, because these single-LED driving lights for the Ineos Grenadier with ECE R112 approval are built for exactly those moments when range matters more than a wide beam. The beam of the Vision X auxiliary driving lights for the Grenadier Each lamp holds a single Luminous Big Chip LED with 40 watts, and the iris reflector from Vision X focuses the light so sharply that, according to the manufacturer, it reaches up to 340 metres. The Vision X CG2 CPZ110 is also available with either a clear or a selective yellow lens. The clear lens delivers the maximum range and is the standard choice for clear nights. The yellow version is made for the days when something is hanging in the air, such as dust on a desert track, mist in the mountains, driven snow on a pass, or heavy rain in the forest. Yellow light scatters less on particles in the air and therefore does not build the blinding wall in front of the bonnet that clear light can throw up when visibility drops. Housing waterproof and tough The housing of the CG2 CPZ110K is a hybrid of aluminium and polycarbonate, tough yet not too heavy for the grille. The lens is made of acrylic, and together the lamps are IP68 waterproof and IP69K pressure-washer tested, withstand 21.2 Grms of vibration, and operate between minus 40 and plus 80 degrees Celsius. The LEDs are also rated for around 50,000 hours. Fitment in the grille, no drilling Vision X developed this kit specifically for the Ineos Grenadier and tested it on the vehicle in Europe. The lamps sit neatly in the grille with the supplied brackets, with no drilling or cutting required, so parking sensors and driver assistance systems stay fully functional. The plug-and-play wiring loom brings everything needed, including relay, fuses, and a CAN-bus connection, so the driving lights switch on automatically or manually together with the main beam. Anyone who wants to revert to the original setup can do so at any time.
