Side indicators for Land Rover Defender 90/110/130, E-marked, plug'n'play fitting price for pair The indicators are available in orange, black and white, while flashing, of course, in orange. Because they are E-marked they can be fitted without TUV registering them. They work with the standard Defender indicator relay as well as with the adjustable indicator relay of our LED position light set - so you needn't buy or change the indicator relay! On Defender TD4 and TD5 the fitting is "plug&play", i.e. the plugs and sockets match and the wind does not need to be modified. Older vehicles (before MY1998) require the modification of the socket on the indicator side and the cutting on the wing.

Seat pad Land Rover Defender Many Landy critics bemoan the seat position in the Defender, the missing elbow room and the spartan original Land Rover seats. But that’s doing a disservice to the furniture from Solihull, especially the improved versions that were introduced in 2007. Even taller drivers, with seat rail extensions installed, can do mile after mile without problems for back and behind. So, if you’re restoring an old Defender or you put too much mileage on yours, it’s worth considering to refurbish the old seats instead of putting brand new ones in. As long as the seat covers are fine and only the foam cores have disintegrated, an upgrade with new seat foams can make a huge difference. This is classic DIY and pretty easy to do with our replacement foams for backrests and seat cushions. Simply remove the whole seat, take the backrest and seat cushion out, remove the covers and rip the old foam off the frame. The new foam cores can be fixed to the frame with standard spray adhesives. Then reverse the process and enjoy your firm new seats. The seat fits all Defender standard outer front seats up to 2016, the backrest for 2007 - 2016. Not suitable for special models.

Nakatanenga Seat Bracket for Sports Seats Mounting bracket, non-folding, for sports seats, for Land Rover Defender 90/110/130, for seats with 405 mm seat rail distance, is attached to the original mounting points. Material: stainless steel, ceramic-blasted, optionally with additional black powder coating. The bracket is at the same time a seat rail extension by approx. 35mm, a combination with our seat rail extensions does not make sense (although technically feasible). The height of the console is 31 mm at the front and 61 mm at the rear.

Wind Deflector ClimAir Land Rover Defender to MY 2016, Front Off-road vehicles are not designed for aerodynamically perfect airflow. So far, so obvious and normally it doesn’t matter anyway because in a 4x4 you’re unlikely to reach the speeds where it becomes problematic. But there is one aspect where the rustic box shape of Defender does show the effects of aerodynamic neglect and that’s the nearly rectangular shape and the straight and vertical positioning of the windows. There’s more than one reason in a 4x4 to crack your windows a little, whether you’re off-roading or it’s cold and wet. Your classic Defender’s windows for instance are misting up because the ventilation famously isn’t up to the job of defogging them. And that’s when you see the effect we’ve talked about in the beginning. The drag around the cracked windows is not only loud, it also pulls more dust and water inwards and that’s pretty annoying, even for hardcore off-roaders. Wind deflectors by ClimAir for Defender, offer the perfect solution. Their tailor-made fit and robust build guarantee improved intake of fresh air and better climatic conditions inside the vehicle all year round while protecting the windows. Made from high-quality acrylic glass, the deflectors reliably keep out rainwater and snow, whether the car is being driven or parked somewhere. Door Handle Exchange set Defender until MY2002 In 2002, the Defender’s doors were re-designed to accommodate the first-ever introduction of electric power windows to the line-up. In the overhaul, the door-handles were updated, too. This complete door handle repair kit makes the replacement of broken or worn-out looking door handles in pre-2002 Defenders dead easy. The kit consists of two handles, all required fastening materials and seals, as well as three lock barrels including two keys each. The handles fit front and rear doors.

Effective help with power loss: vacuum can as a spare part If you’re experiencing performance problems with the turbo, the problem can be as simple as a faulty, leaky or seized actuator. The actuator is pneumatically regulated, purely mechanical and is designed to open the wastegate in the turbo charger. At high load, a good part of the hot exhaust gases are thus diverted directly into the exhaust system without propelling the turbo beyond its own safety limits and the critical boost pressure for the engine. Generally speaking, if your turbo stops working correctly, Land Rover will only supply the entire turbo assembly. But if the fault lies only with the actuator, you can order the module as a separate replacement part from us. In many cases, that can solve your problem without having to resort to buying a complete turbo assembly. Installing the new actuator in the Td5’s turbo is fairly easy. Simply screw it onto the bracket and attach both the actuator arm to the wastegate mechanism and the pressure hose to the actuator. Assuming your adjustment screw on the old actuator was in the correct position, simply set the new actuator’s arm to the same length to achieve the correct settings.

The Defender has a soul, or so many say. And maybe they're right, because sometimes it really feels that way. It takes you anywhere, even to places where others would have given up long ago. In return it needs care, tools and patience. It rattles, makes noises and has never pretended to care much about perfection. But anyone who knows it understands: that's exactly its charm. There's hardly anything more satisfying than working on this piece of British engineering yourself – or, if the spanner slips, at least impressing with a bit of technical knowledge.

From bumpers to snorkels – the right Defender accessories for the road ahead
If you want to turn a Defender into a travel vehicle, you need more than good spirit and a full tank. A winch bumper, for example – not because you've bogged yourself down, of course, but purely to pull everyone else out. We recommend our Nakatanenga winch bumper for the Defender, available as a bundle with winches from Horntools or Superwinch, with or without auxiliary lights.
But there are moments when no prayer helps, only proper recovery gear. With recovery points, rear crossmember reinforcements and traction boards, you stay in control even when the ground decides to create its own adventure. Everything is robust, tested and ready for real-world off road use.
If you're planning long distances far from civilisation, it's best to upgrade with a 56-litre auxiliary tank or a 66-litre version, while the Defender underbody protection ensures sharp rocks, roots or curious boulders don't leave deeper marks. The Defender snorkel, or raised air intake, is essential for anyone heading into desert regions or water crossings – though even Hamburg puddles can look surprisingly deep. Available for Td4, Td5 and Tdi in different versions for Defenders with or without roll cages.
Defender suspension, wheels and tyres
No adventure without proper suspension. A Defender suspension kit isn't about taste, it depends on how you use the vehicle. Whether it's a 90, 110 or 130, there's a setup for every purpose – from a family daily driver to a fully loaded long-distance touring vehicle. For the right off road look, you can add steel wheels such as our classic ANR wheels, Wolf wheels or equally robust Dotz Dakar wheels.

Interior with character – sports seats for the Defender
If you cover long distances, you should sit comfortably. With new seat foams you can preserve the original Defender seat charm, Defender sports seats add modern support on rough tracks, and matching seat covers protect the material or hide the scars of past expeditions. Classic style returns with the right Defender steering wheels.
And then there's the sort of Defender accessories that make you wonder why Land Rover never fitted them from the factory: leather door handles, a proper glove box, a sturdy A-pillar grab handle so getting in doesn't feel like a mini mountain climb every time.
Seat rail extensions – apparently British engineers didn't know tall legs. A two-colour interior light, a handy rear cubbybox tray and of course the rear door strut that stops the door from hitting your back when the Defender is on uneven ground.
Dual battery system, electrics and lighting – power where you need it
Whether it's a heater, laptop, fridge or phone, you need power on the road. That's why one of the first upgrades many Defenders receive is a dual battery system. Ours comes with a stainless steel bracket for two Banner 80Ah batteries, including wiring loom and split relay. You can add a battery monitor if desired. Perfectly matched with the bonnet solar panel for Td5 and Td4.
In the lighting section you'll find everything from 7-inch headlights and LED indicators to light bars from Osram and Vision-X, plus a matching lamp bracket. Reversing lights, interior lighting and a number plate light with camera are also part of the range.
Roof racks, storage and order in the chaos
The CargoBear roof rack for the Defender is almost too good-looking to load up. Flat, walkable, with pass-throughs and made for our Roof Lodge tents, mounted with a quick mount system that works with different roof tents. Perfect accessories for the Defender roof rack include our outdoor shower, the Nakatanenga Shower Tube, and the Roof Lodge Evolution 2 awnings. On top fit the Nakatanenga storage boxes and the large 198-litre aluminium box – enough room for tables, chairs and all the “just-in-case” bits.

The tailgate organiser with MOLLE pouches brings order to the rear, the cargo net under the roof liner uses every inch, and the window guards with MOLLE system expand storage further.
Parking heater for the Defender
A parking heater transforms the Defender into a winter-ready travel vehicle, especially when neatly integrated with the cubbybox extension. If you want warm showers, add the Warmduscher kit. Alternatively, the mobile parking heater in an aluminium box also warms the roof tent – or the garden pavilion if needed.
