Sand ladders, traction boards, foldable ramps or waffleboards – the range of recovery tracks for 4x4s these days is extremely specialized when it comes to different types of use, materials or surface conditions. No matter which kind of board you’re going for, though, there’s always two questions to keep in mind, whether your tracks are made from metal, synthetics or rubber: For one, where are you keeping them, before and after deployment or in seasonal storage? And two, how do you keep your vehicle clean, if you chose to transport the tracks inside the trunk or cargo hold instead of an outside mount?
Our Nakatanenga board bags will conclusively solve both issues. Whether it’s our own Maximum Traction boards, GFK Waffle Boards, aluminum sand ladders or any other product from MAXTRAX, TREDS, HEBE etc., the bag will fit any recovery board up to a maximum size of 1200 x 340 mm. With its depth of 130 mm at the sides, the bag is specifically designed for synthetic boards and their greater thickness when compared to classic metal sand ladders. However, the wide cut of the bag allows for a stack of boards of up to 180 mm in total. Inside the bag, we have sewn-in two adjustable straps with quick-release buckles to secure stacks of boards and prevent any sliding or shifting.
The fabric is made from robust 100% PU-coated nylon to ensure quick cleaning by brush or water hose. It is also machine washable at 30 Celsius. Strong seams, sturdy straps and durable zippers are, as always with our own textile products, a given. There’s also a MOLLE fleece patch to identify your kit with patches, stickers or tags.

Carrying bag for our 24mm strong and 8m long kinetic recovery rope

Mesh carrying bag for mountain ropes
Our robust and easy-to-clean Polyester mesh bag was initially developed by our Nakatanenga textile shop to hold the kinetic tow ropes. The big Kinto rope with 8 m length and 24 mm width fits perfectly into this 60 x 35 cm bag. Apart from the ropes, this mesh bag is absolutely perfect for everything else that comes dirty and dripping: sports shoes and hiking boots, rain gear, training equipment, water sports, you name it.
Using mesh as the primary material for bag, also means much nicer handling in comparison to ordinary closed materials. You can quickly pack wet and dirty ropes and let them drain and dry in the bag. That way, there is no chance for trapped moisture to contribute to any material deterioration and unpleasant moldy smells.
You can also use the mesh itself to grab and handle excessively dirty equipment without having to use your bare hands, if nothing else is available. That comes in especially handy in emergency recoveries on the road, because you’re never as likely to carry all the dirt into your car’s interior. After the job is done, you can easily hose down the rope within the bag.
Robust seams, a quality zipper, wrap-around handles and two orange loops for hanging or securing make this mesh bag one tough and durable receptacle for all your rough gear.

Practical Shoulder Strap for diffrent Recovery Tracks
It takes a lot to get a 4x4 stuck in some sand or mud and if there is no going forwards or backwards, Recovery Tracks are usually one of the first and best solutions. To make operating these Recovery Tracks now even more intuitiv the versitile and robust shoulder straps can be used in various ways.
The strap can easily be attatched and detached from the track. The sewed on net-pocket contains an additional strap, which can be attatched right to the track, this way the tracks can be easily pulled back out of the deepest mud without you having to get dirty yourself.

The boards have recessed handles on the sides, making them easy to carry. Of course, it's better to get our matching carrying straps right away. That way, you'll have your hands free if you ever have to go up or down a steep slope.
