Upgrade rear door damper for Suzuki Jimny 2 GJ/HJ Rear doors on off-road vehicles have to be heavyweight athletes, as they often carry spare wheels and other equipment. Especially when the vehicle is parked on uneven surfaces, opening tailgates – or keeping them open – can be a difficult and heavy task. For the Suzuki Jimny 2 (from model year 2018), we offer an easy-to-fit plug & play solution that does not require any modifications to the vehicle itself. The replacement damper for the rear door is calibrated to an opening angle of approximately 3. That means once you’ve pulled the handle and opened the door to that angle, the damper automatically and gently pushes the door fully open and keeps it in position – even when you’re parked at an angle on slopes or in off-road terrain. Another advantage of the heavy duty damper is the wider opening angle (slightly over 90°) when compared to the original part.

Rods for raising the New Defender with air suspension, from model year 2020
Coupling rod/ Rods for height adjustment Installing lift kits for 4x4’s usually requires complex (and expensive) modifications. Not so if your vehicle comes with a self-regulating air suspension, like the New Defender. Raising the ride height of the New Landy by 1 or 1,6 inches takes very little in terms of effort or budget. The principle is very simple and has been employed with Discovery 5 and Range Rover Sport models for quite some time. Simply replace the original rods on all four wheel suspensions with our replacements. The new rod’s different dimensions will trick the self-regulating suspension to permanently lift the ride by 1” or 1,6”, respectively, in all drive modes. Once the new lift rods are installed, the vehicle’s sensor system will adjust itself automatically to the new ride height after the first restarting of your car. Resetting the ride to original factory settings is just as easy and only a question of minutes. We produce these 1“ and 1,6“ lift rods for the New Defender in our own workshop. The rods are laser machined from extremely robust high-quality plastics and the bushings are created in an additive process. This makes both components highly resistant to degradation by weather or chemicals, like fuel, oils etc. The custom-designed bushings are flexible and extend to both sides of the rods’ connections. In terms of quality, this is a far superior solution over many other products on the market, specifically aluminum rods with cheap off-the-shelf cable grommets. Available as +1“ or + 1,6“. Caution: these products are without part certification and are not road legal. They¬¬ may not be used on public roads.

Seat pad Land Rover Defender
Seat pad Land Rover Defender Many Landy critics bemoan the seat position in the Defender, the missing elbow room and the spartan original Land Rover seats. But that’s doing a disservice to the furniture from Solihull, especially the improved versions that were introduced in 2007. Even taller drivers, with seat rail extensions installed, can do mile after mile without problems for back and behind. So, if you’re restoring an old Defender or you put too much mileage on yours, it’s worth considering to refurbish the old seats instead of putting brand new ones in. As long as the seat covers are fine and only the foam cores have disintegrated, an upgrade with new seat foams can make a huge difference. This is classic DIY and pretty easy to do with our replacement foams for backrests and seat cushions. Simply remove the whole seat, take the backrest and seat cushion out, remove the covers and rip the old foam off the frame. The new foam cores can be fixed to the frame with standard spray adhesives. Then reverse the process and enjoy your firm new seats. The seat fits all Defender standard outer front seats up to 2016, the backrest for 2007 - 2016. Not suitable for special models.

This is why we have asked a renowned automotive component supplier to produce an interior LED light for the Land Rover Defender for us. Our Nakatanenga LED Interior Light allows easy "plug & play" replacement of the standard interior light (front and back) of your Land Rover Defender. Lamps are sold separately, if you want to replace both lights please order this item twice. The cover and bulb of the existing light (AMR3155) are removed, the adaptor, LED circuit board and the new cover with switch are fitted - that's it, all tool-free and taking no more than 5 minutes! All previous functions of the interior light (on/off/door on) are kept, additionally you can switch to red light, which increases visibility at night. Spare wheel air pressure regulator with matching bag Function stacking is when you try to get by with fewer objects because you assign several functions to them. This is particularly important when you have to take space and weight into account when travelling or on expeditions. A spare wheel, for example, is usually just a spare wheel, but with our spare wheel air pressure regulator, the fifth wheel on the vehicle can also become a practical compressed air reservoir. If you inflate your spare tyre to the permitted maximum, you usually have enough pressure available to adjust the inflation of the tyres mounted on the axle or on the mountain bike or to operate compressed air devices such as our Showertube, for example. As the name suggests, our spare tyre pressure regulator basically functions simply as an adjustable equalising valve.The desired pressure is simply preset on the integrated regulator and the two hoses are attached to the "pressure receiver" and then to the spare wheel (compressed air reservoir). The pressure is then exchanged automatically. The spare wheel pump also has brackets for permanent installation and a robust and easy-to-clean nylon PU-coated bag for storage in the car.

The specified width of 60 mm is measured when mounted from the outer edge of the body.
