Idler pulley 9000, foldable
Efficient and robust folding pulley for safe and easy recovery You should have at least one quality snatch block pulley in your winching kit at all times. Most often, you will use it when there are no straight lines in which you can tow your vehicle, but in any case, the snatch block doubles the towing force. That means winching your trapped vehicle free becomes easier and the winch itself is put under less strain while doing so. Our new foldable Nakatanenga snatch block utilizes the familiar pulley principle, but in our development process we focused on the best choice of materials, on high-end production and on improving usually overlooked details. Snatch blocks have to be solid, light-weight, universally applicable, smooth-running and easy to clean. Our construction from exceptionally sturdy 6 mm galvanized steel and a 15 mm polymer reel suits any kind of winch line with a diameter of 8 – 13 mm: plastic, plasma or steel. The snatch block doesn’t need any maintenance or servicing other than cleaning it after use. Even when using it with steel cable, it doesn’t need to be lubricated. The choice of polymer synthetics for the reel makes it smooth-running with any choice of cable or rope. The workload of the block is 9000 lbs or over 4 t, the breaking load is 19.300 lbs or over 8.7 t. The compact, foldable design of the snatch block guarantees solidity, easy stowability and a low weight of only 2,30 kg – ensuring that it fits into any travel 4x4 or expedition vehicle that’s already stuffed to the roof. As accessories we recommend our Nakatanenga winch straps/tree trunk protectors and soft shackles. And finally, about the details: in contrast to many other snatch blocks, we have actually improved the metal side plates and the eyes. Both have folded, rounded edges that make them not only easier and safer to handle and less prone to shifting abruptly as the rope is tightening but first and foremost it prevents synthetic ropes from chafing or having fibers or strands damaged. Moreover, we applied high quality galvanization to the plates to prevent corrosion and to maintain an easy-to-clean surface even after repeated use in water, mud and snow. Have fun winching! Retrofittable seat heating Deluxe 12V The high-quality carbon seat heating system was developed for retrofitting in individual seats.You can switch off the heat supply of the carbon surface heating elements via a switch (0% power) or set it to one of 3 different heating modes: Mode 1: 25% power Mode 2: 50% power Mode 3: 75% power This three-stage system provides pleasant warmth within a few minutes. When a level is set, the heater heats up to 100% power in just two minutes and then adjusts down to the desired mode (25%, 50% or 75%). This allows the carbon panel heating elements to reach the desired heat output much more quickly. The button or switch indicates the current level via three LEDs integrated into the button. The button can easily be stuck horizontally or vertically anywhere. Three adjustable levels and remarkably fast temperature regulation make this seat heater unique. Differences between carbon panel heating elements and heating elements using stranded wire technology: The carbon panel heating elements have considerable advantages over the previously widely used heating elements with stranded wire technology. For example, only carbon heating elements can be adapted and trimmed during installation. With conventional stranded wire technology, a heating wire runs inside the heating element in the form of a wave. If this is damaged at any point, e.g. due to mechanical stress or overheating, the entire heating element fails. Parallel technology is used in the new carbon surface heating elements. Many independent carbon heating fibers run inside the heating element, ensuring its reliability. The heat distribution is much more homogeneous and therefore more pleasant with carbon panel heating elements. CargoBear system roof rack 2.0 - for Mercedes G
Nakatanenga CargoBear 2.0 | Lightweight. Strong. Clever for Mercedes G When it comes to powerful performance, our very own CargoBear is definitely the Grizzly among roof racks. Strong, sturdy and massively versatile, it was way ahead of its time when we introduced it in 2016. But the world is turning, evolution doesn’t favor a standstill and if you want to survive in nature, you need to keep innovating. Leaner and meaner is this new bear, the CargoBear 2.0, when he emerges from his winter den in Berg. Same load bearing strength, same solidity, same rigidity, but greatly reduced fight weight: Your 4x4 has to carry around 30 % less weight on the roof. And on top of it, the new CargoBear comes with a reduced price tag as well. How did we do it? The crucial difference lies in a new construction design. Removing the comparatively heavy longitudinal connecting beams, their structural function has been taken over by newly developed perforated HIGRIP plates between the crossbars and angled end-plates for the sides. The new design achieves (nearly) the same structural strength as its predecessor but reduces the net weight considerably. The CargoBear 2.0 has been designed for a load capacity of 300 kg off-road (with evenly distributed load). This can easily be doubled on the road. Theoretically, that is, because it’s important to make two points when it comes to roof racks. One, keep in mind that your vehicle’s center of gravity can shift upwards considerably when carrying a roof rack with cargo, especially off-road. And two, when loading your roof rack, the limitations will most likely result from your vehicles approved roof load which in most cases will be significantly below the specifications of the rack itself. Some of the CargoBear 2.0’s features stay the same, however, because we found them hard to improve: this includes the jet-black, super-flat look, the high-performance material and the modular versatility. Furthermore, all accessories, additional components, roof tents etc. are fully compatible with the first generation. The long G-Class will finally get a CargoBear with four crossbars. And last but not least, the old heavier CargoBear with longitudinal beams and checker plate will be continued exclusively for classic Defenders who need specific heavy-duty applications.The CargoBear does NOT fit the Mercedes G model W465 from model year 2024! Nakatanenga accessory set for winches
Accessory kit for winches Whether as an accessories kit for winching enthusiasts or as handy emergency pack on overlanding trips, our Nakatanenga winching packages contain everything you need when you’re stuck in a rut. You have the choice between a steel version, primarily for steel cables, or the lightweight pack made from synthetics and aluminum, exclusively designed for synthetic winch ropes. Both varieties basically consist of the same components: two recovery straps, a pulley or block, shackles, protective gloves and a bag. The steel rope kit contains two steel shackles, a foldable snatch block with a work load WLL of 3.5 tons and a shoulder bag made from 100 % cotton. The synthetic kit boasts an NMP pulley made from Eloxal coated aluminum, three soft shackles and the Nakatanenga tool bag coated in robust and waterresistant Nylon PU. Straps Key items in the accessory kits are two 77 mm wide, high quality recovery straps. Made from polyamides, these straps come in lengths of 2 and 8 m and have a breaking strength of up to 9 tons. By design, the short strap is also a perfect tree trunk protector. FYI: The long strap is a new addition to the steel set and does not fit the cotton bag. It has to be stored separately. Shackles The recovery straps feature end loops strengthened by machine sewn Polyester coats. The 10 mm soft shackles in orange or gray are fixed through these end loops or “eyes”. The kit contains two soft shackles for this purpose and another one to fix the NMP block. The synthetic shackles are ultra-light and with a breaking strength of up to 12 t extremely loadable. As always, synthetics means little danger of injury, easy handling, no corrosion and no damaging of vehicle and equipment. The steel kit on the other hand uses traditional steel shackles with screw bolts. Pulleys The pulleys or blocks in the two kits differ considerably in design, material and usage. In the synthetics kit, the NMP block made from hard, Eloxal coated aluminum is fixed by a soft shackle and is exclusively meant to be used with plastic winch ropes of 8 to 14 mm thickness. Produced to military standards, this block has a breaking strength of 18 t and weighs only 1.65 kg. WARNING: Again, the NMP pulley must not be used with steel cables. If you are using steel cables, please choose the other kit with the metal snatch block. Our construction of high-strength 6 mm galvanised steel and a 15 mm polymer pulley accepts any type of mountain rope between 8 - 13 mm: Synthetic, plasma and steel ropes.The working load of the pulley is 9,000 lbs or just over 4 t, the breaking load is 19,300 lbs or over 8.7 t and is best suited for steel ropes. Bags The synthetics kit comes in our robust, high quality Nakatanenga tool bag. It’s flexible, very lightweight and uses just as much storage space as the actual contents. That makes it ideal for quick, compact packing and easy transport of all your winching and recovery equipment. Shackles and smaller item fit into separate pockets inside. The steel kit can be stowed in the cotton shoulder bag, with the exception of the long strap. Gloves Last but not least, both sets come with a pair of protective gloves, made from elastic synthetic materials. These sturdy gloves feature grippy Almara plastic leather in the palm area and are not available separately, unlike the rest of the contents.

Rods for raising the New Defender with air suspension, from model year 2020
Coupling rod/ Rods for height adjustment Installing lift kits for 4x4’s usually requires complex (and expensive) modifications. Not so if your vehicle comes with a self-regulating air suspension, like the New Defender. Raising the ride height of the New Landy by 1 or 1,6 inches takes very little in terms of effort or budget. The principle is very simple and has been employed with Discovery 5 and Range Rover Sport models for quite some time. Simply replace the original rods on all four wheel suspensions with our replacements. The new rod’s different dimensions will trick the self-regulating suspension to permanently lift the ride by 1” or 1,6”, respectively, in all drive modes. Once the new lift rods are installed, the vehicle’s sensor system will adjust itself automatically to the new ride height after the first restarting of your car. Resetting the ride to original factory settings is just as easy and only a question of minutes. We produce these 1“ and 1,6“ lift rods for the New Defender in our own workshop. The rods are laser machined from extremely robust high-quality plastics and the bushings are created in an additive process. This makes both components highly resistant to degradation by weather or chemicals, like fuel, oils etc. The custom-designed bushings are flexible and extend to both sides of the rods’ connections. In terms of quality, this is a far superior solution over many other products on the market, specifically aluminum rods with cheap off-the-shelf cable grommets. Available as +1“ or + 1,6“. CargoBear storage rack, interior rack for New Defender 110, from BJ 2020
CargoBear storage rack for Land Rover New Defender L663 The more space you have, the greater the temptation to simply deposit your gear all over the place. With a cargo giant like the new Defender 110 (from MY2020), this will inevitably lead to chaos. That's why we’re putting a bear in the cargo area, a small CargoBear. This additional shelf with its generous dimensions of about 860 x 525 mm takes a load of about 50 kg and is intended for heavier equipment, tools etc. As with the CargoBear roof rack, the cargo shelf is made of robust, powder-coated and perforated aluminum. Raised edges, anti-slip surface and a variety of lashing points make it very easy to ensure one hundred percent load security. By the way, the angled design of the supports leaves approx. 640 mm of loading height under the CargoBear rack. This means that even larger items such as boxes etc. can still be stowed without a problem. When mounting the shelf, all you need to do is fastening it to the existing attachement points of the trunk cover with the original screws. No matter which kind of board you’re going for, though, there’s always two questions to keep in mind, whether your tracks are made from metal, synthetics or rubber: For one, where are you keeping them, before and after deployment or in seasonal storage? And two, how do you keep your vehicle clean, if you chose to transport the tracks inside the trunk or cargo hold instead of an outside mount? Our Nakatanenga board bags will conclusively solve both issues. Whether it’s our own Maximum Traction boards, GFK Waffle Boards, aluminum sand ladders or any other product from MAXTRAX, TREDS, HEBE etc., the bag will fit any recovery board up to a maximum size of 1200 x 340 mm. With its depth of 130 mm at the sides, the bag is specifically designed for synthetic boards and their greater thickness when compared to classic metal sand ladders. However, the wide cut of the bag allows for a stack of boards of up to 180 mm in total. Inside the bag, we have sewn-in two adjustable straps with quick-release buckles to secure stacks of boards and prevent any sliding or shifting. The fabric is made from robust 100% PU-coated nylon to ensure quick cleaning by brush or water hose. It is also machine washable at 30 Celsius. Strong seams, sturdy straps and durable zippers are, as always with our own textile products, a given. There’s also a MOLLE fleece patch to identify your kit with patches, stickers or tags.
