The VIAIR 89P-RVS is such a mobile and lightweight 12-volt compressor, specially designed for Class B motorhomes. This compressor inflates most Class B (CP) tyres from 5.5 bar to 6.2 bar (80 to 90 PSI - follow manufacturer's instructions!) in less than 2 minutes. The 89P-RVS has a new and improved longer air hose to reach the tyres comfortably.The tyres are the connecting element between the vehicle and the road. Enormous forces are transmitted over a relatively small area. To be able to guarantee this in the best possible way, regular checking of the tyre pressure is essential, especially for motorhomes. Don't forget to check the spare wheel as well. However, this can be quite inconvenient for many campers, as the spare wheel must first be removed from underneath the floor - something that people tend to do without at the petrol station.For an RV compressor, power is of course crucial. Here, the 89P-RVS offers a maximum working pressure of more than 8 bar - quite sufficient for all compressed air applications you are confronted with as a camper. Please note: The 89P-RVS is not compatible with Presta bicycle valves!Due to the high currents that flow when operating the compressor, it must only be connected directly to the battery via the supplied clamps. One of the reasons we have decided to reduce the range is to guarantee better availability.   Note on Off-Road Use: Due to its design, this compressor does not have a connection for an air filter. Nevertheless, it is still suitable for use in dusty or sandy environments. The key factor is proper and careful handling. To minimize the intake of dust and fine particles, the compressor should, whenever possible, not be operated or placed directly on the ground in such situations. It is recommended to use it in an elevated position away from the ground, for example inside the vehicle, on the cargo area, or held by the handle. Even during off-road operations in dust-intensive environments, such as desert crossings, the compressor is a good choice. For particularly intensive or continuous use under such conditions, a model with an integrated or attachable air filter may also be of interest, depending on the requirements.
