The high school of storage space optimization actually only begins when all the obvious places like the interior or trunk or the roof have long since ceased to offer anything. With our practical and universally applicable spare wheel tray, even the fifth wheel on the car becomes an equipment carrier.The practical storage solution for the spare wheel at the rear consists of two components that can be ordered individually or as a set (here in the store). The base carrier with the tensioning strap is adjustable and thus fits all common off-road tire sizes. If one mounts only the basic carrier (sideways), so e.g. starting aids, wheel chocks and other accessories can be screwed to the carrier or fastened with straps. While they provide a lot of support off-road, they are at the same time quite comfortable, both when driving and when getting in or out of the car. Regardless whether you choose the Recaros with leather or fabric upholstery, our tailor-made protective covers for the Grenadier’s front seats function as a sturdy and versatile "battle suit" for tough off-road missions, long overland trips and everyday life. Our textile designers opted for a three-part concept to achieve a perfect fit for the compact, straight-lined seats. Apart from the headrest, there are two separate covers for backrest and seat. This allows for a firm and precise fit without bulging or sliding. The covers are fastened with straps (or velcro) and tucked into the gaps for an even tighter fit, both at the outer edges and between the backrest and the seat. The materials - 1000D nylon 6.6 and breathable nylon mesh - are hard-wearing and, above all, easy to clean. MOLLE on the headrest, backrest and the front edge of the seat offers additional storage space to attach equipment and accessory pouches. Nakatanenga adapter for hitch-mounted racks for bikes and other sports gear Hitch-mounted racks for bikes and other sports gear are fantastic, if you are using your bikes only off and on or once a year on your annual holiday trip. No cumbersome attachment to the roof rails or the trunk needed: simply lock it onto your car’s standard ball hitch when you need to and hey presto off you go. Theoretically, that is, because for most 4x4 owners, the rear-mounted spare wheel will usually be in the way of a regular hitch-mounted bike rack. But that’s where Nakatanenga comes in.Our premium quick-release adapter extends your existing ball hitch by 25 cm, enough to reach beyond most spare wheels. The adapter locks onto the ball hitch quickly, securely and can also be padlocked. We advise to take careful measurements before ordering, so that you can be sure the 25 cm extension is sufficient for your individual set-up. Please also verify that you have enough space for the quick-release locking handle on the right side of the hitch. Your existing trailer hitch has to clear any obstructions like bumper indentations or the like for the handle to be operational. They are the same color as the mesh for a seamless look. The elastic cargo mesh can then be attached to the frame and the interior grab handles with 12 adjustable straps. Winch rope 10 mm x 30 m Steel or synthetics? With winch ropes that is often something of a religious question. However, the trend is now quite clearly to high-performance synthetic fibers, the steel in the ratio strength to weight are often superior and otherwise bring in handling many benefits. The advantages of our 30 m synthetic rope compared to steel are manifold, but above all there are two main arguments: safety and weight. When steel cables break, heavy, sharp-edged metal lashes through the air uncontrollably, causing damage and the worst possible injuries. Should our new 2.3 kg light rope really reach the 9.5 t breaking load once, the ends will simply fall to the ground. Even when handling the steel cable, cuts caused by loose or broken wires are not uncommon, but excluded in synthetics. In addition, the much lighter Dyneem rope not only relieves the operator, the car also benefits in terms of statics and driving characteristics. Synthetic ropes are low maintenance, washable, easy to roll up and down due to low friction, and are less sensitive to UV, chemical and oil products, abrasion and fatigue due to kinking than many other synthetic fibers. They absorb hardly any water and are extremely flexible with a low length elasticity of around 5%. The high-quality workmanship of our synthetic rope is shown in detail:To accommodate the pull hook in the eye splice, the 12mm thimble is made of stainless steel, as well as the 7 mm eyelet for attachment to the winch. Additional protection against frictional heat and abrasion is provided by polyester protective sleeves on both ends of the rope. So that nothing rubs off or splices at the splices, they are hot-shrink-sealed. The Nakatanenga winch rope is available in gray or orange. But that doesn’t mean you have to pack the tubing in plastic bags or carry it as it is. Our textile workshop has now come up with a dedicated storage bag with carrying straps especially for the WALUFLEX pipe. Made from robust and easy-to-clean 1000D Nylon material, the pack bag stores and protects the warm air tube. Moreover, it also saves a lot of valuable pack space. Tubes of up to 3 m length can be secured in the bag with two separate straps. Zip it up, job done! By the way, we have also sewn a patch of MOLLE fleece onto the front of the bag. That makes it very easy to identify the WALUFLEX bag with badges, labels etc. Ready to go! You can order the carrying bag by itself or including a WALUFLEX tube (3 m) with end collars.

Fender box for Land Rover Defender
Fender box for Land Rover Defender, selectable right or left Defenders draw their air for the heater on the passenger side and since there is no doubling up for pesky details like right and left hand drive at Land Rover, the fenders are the same for both sides with a plastic dummy vent for the unused intake. But that’s a good thing, because if you are into tinkering, optimizing and upgrading, you will find a neat pre-cut body opening to hold additional waterproof storage or functional space irresistible. Mounting our lockable black fender box is as easy as it gets. It will take you under 5 minutes to unscrew the old cover and replace it with our locker by fastening it to the existing screw holes. If all you need is some exterior space for oily rags or gloves, that’s your job done right there. If you are feeling more ambitious, you might want to install electric sockets, pneumatic connectors or a kill-switch for your winch for instance. In that case, you will appreciate the fact that the floor of the box is loose to make these jobs that much easier. The hinge was rolled onto the sheet metal with a special tool and connected with a 4mm stainless steel pin.
