Roof console for Suzuki Jimny 2, type GJ On our passionate mission to optimize the storage space in the Suzuki Jimny II in the best possible way, we have set our sights on one of the last remaining spaces in the interior. Having covered the rear area well with the CargoBear shelf, cargo net, tailgate organizer, seat covers and modular window panels, we are left with an empty piece of headliner between the driver and front passenger that is crying out for a storage upgrade. Our roof console made of 2 mm thick aluminum is approx. 73 cm long and 18 cm wide, making it ideal for strapping or screwing on flat and/or long items of equipment, MOLLE bags and the like. Mounting the bracket is extremely simple, regardless of whether a cargo net is already installed or not. In the former case, the retaining plate of the console is attached directly to the strip of the cargo net. If the headlining is still bare, there are two plugged mounting points at the corresponding points at the factory which are used. At the front, the interior light must be removed briefly in order to make two small holes in the trim for the screws. Once the screws have been secured with the nuts, the interior lighting can be refitted. The roof console for the Jimny 2 is available in black, coyote or gray to match the roof net versions.

Cargo net incl. fixing material, Suzuki Jimny II The smaller the car, the bigger the challenge to make the best use of available space inside. Our cargo mesh for the Suzuki Jimny II (from MY2018) will generate a lot of storage room in a place that’s rarely used: under the roof in the cargo bay.To attach the 93 x 60 cm netting to the roof trim, all you need to do is mount two aluminum frame elements in the front and the back. They are the same color as the mesh for a seamless look. The elastic cargo mesh can then be attached to the frame and the interior grab handles with 12 adjustable straps. To make it easier for you to fill the mesh space, there are also two click buckles in the front for easy access.Light and flat pieces of equipment, sleeping bags, textiles and the like will find the perfect storage space inside the mesh, even in a fully loaded Jimny.If you do not have handles on the headlining, 2 ring nuts are supplied to attach the net. Additionally, you can thread an elastic string in a zigzag shape on the underside of the netting for all those lighter items you want quick access to: light blankets, towels, swimming or sports gear etc.The cargo mesh comes in the colors black, gray and coyote. Please note: When ordering, please be sure to state in which model (GJ or HJ) you would like to install the Cargo Net, and also whether you have an interior light (Comfort Plus equipment) in the GJ model. Small as ever, but even more oho! That's the Jimny. Not an SUV for transporting the kiddies to riding school, but a real off-roader with a Twingo-like footprint of just 3.65 x 1.65 metres. Since the Jimny is a traditional workhorse with limited interior space, every cubic centimetre of free space counts.
Off-the-shelf seat covers can't do this, they slip, overhang, get stuck or snag on moving parts. That's why our high-quality covers are tailor-made and fit extremely precisely thanks to individual Velcro straps. This also applies to the perfectly fitting headrest protector.
As one of the last true off-road vehicles, the Jimny is particularly popular with foresters, fishermen, farmers and other 4x4 enthusiasts. Dirt, dust and animal residues therefore stay better on the easy-to-clean 100% nylon slipcovers than in the seats themselves.

This article was designed in our in-house tailor shop. A dedicated team and short distances allow for continuous quality control and further development of our textile products. And if you already have a tailor's workshop in house, then it is easy to also accept customer change requests, special designs, suggestions and proposals for improvement at short notice and to implement them as far as possible. Mail or phone call is all it takes!
And by the way: At Nakatanenga we only use materials with 100% nylon PU coating for all textile articles. Unlike PVC, nylon PU (polyurethane) is free of harmful phthalate-based plasticisers. Until recently, low-molecular phthalates were the most common plasticisers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are suspected of acting like endogenous hormones due to their molecular nature. This is highly questionable from a toxicological point of view and is considered to be a trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it is therefore a matter of course to use only ecologically and health-safe alternatives such as nylon PU for the coating of textile products.
