This also allows for quick and easy de-installation without damage or marks. The CargoBear’s flat roof silhouette reduces aerodynamic losses and the modular design protects the car’s roof and body by effectively absorbing torsion forces. The deep black, high-quality powder-coated CargoBear modules made of aluminum-magnesium alloy are manufactured entirely in Germany. The bear’s skeleton is made up of either two or three crossbeams. The beams also work by themselves as roof racks. Two panels fit each segment between a pair of crossbars, creating either a short or a full platform over the entire length of the roof. An accompanying wind deflector at the front further improves the aerodynamics of the roof rack, which is already very flat, and offers the possibility of mounting the Osram SX180 or SX300 light bars via special holes. For the rear, an end carrier is included for mounting additional headlights, handles or other accessories. The modular structure over the entire area allows for a flexible yet precise arrangement of lashing points, thereby making your roof load much more secure. Fittings are inserted in the lashing grid on the side or on top of the rack. Single stud fittings are recommended for lighter loads. If it gets heavier, choose ring fittings with double studs. As the name implies, two studs instead of one are inserted into the lashing grid, effectively halving the forces exerted on each point in the grid. Roof console for Suzuki Jimny 2, type GJ On our passionate mission to optimize the storage space in the Suzuki Jimny II in the best possible way, we have set our sights on one of the last remaining spaces in the interior. Having covered the rear area well with the CargoBear shelf, cargo net, tailgate organizer, seat covers and modular window panels, we are left with an empty piece of headliner between the driver and front passenger that is crying out for a storage upgrade. Our roof console made of 2 mm thick aluminum is approx. 73 cm long and 18 cm wide, making it ideal for strapping or screwing on flat and/or long items of equipment, MOLLE bags and the like. Mounting the bracket is extremely simple, regardless of whether a cargo net is already installed or not. In the former case, the retaining plate of the console is attached directly to the strip of the cargo net. If the headlining is still bare, there are two plugged mounting points at the corresponding points at the factory which are used. At the front, the interior light must be removed briefly in order to make two small holes in the trim for the screws. Once the screws have been secured with the nuts, the interior lighting can be refitted. The roof console for the Jimny 2 is available in black, coyote or gray to match the roof net versions.

Cargo net for the classic Defender The roof lining is the least utilised area in the interior of a car. Yet it's a great place to pack away light and flat items in particular - if you have one of our ingeniously practical cargo nets installed.The 102 x 76 cm net for the old Defender (up to 2016) can be stretched in different ways depending on the vehicle size or configuration. In the 110, for example, this means at the very rear above the load compartment or the third row of seats, or in the centre. As the net is always accessible from the front and rear, this practical storage space extension can even be accessed quickly from the driver or front passenger seat in hardtops, camper conversions and other two-seaters.Tightening the flexible cargo mesh in the roof liner is extremely easy with 14 straps and belt clamps. The supplied expanding rivets also enable the aforementioned customised positioning of the holder. A 10.5 m long elastic band can also be pulled in under the mesh in a zigzag shape. CargoBear Storage rack for Suzuki Jimny 2 (GJ/HJ), MY 2018 A volume of up to 863 liters will fit into the back of your Jimny GJ. Sounds like a lot for the size S hardcore off-roader. But wait: how much of it can you actually use? Only rarely will you load big items in one piece – let’s say a fridge for example – into the cargo space of the little 4x4 and that’s the problem. The Jimny is mostly a specialized working vehicle for farmers, forest workers and hunters. That means, there’s always lots of tools, fuels, lubricants, equipment, feed bags and dirty clothes that you don’t want to pile up on the small surface area of the cargo hold. Add animals – dead and alive – to the mix and you get the picture.Once we’ve spotted this particular problem, we immediately set to work on it and are now offering a mini-version of our CargoBear system specifically for the back of the Jimny GJ/HJ. This rack effectively partitions the narrow but high cargo space and lets you load many more items much more effectively. The smaller the car, the bigger the challenge to make the best use of available space inside. Our cargo mesh for the Suzuki Jimny II (from MY2018) will generate a lot of storage room in a place that’s rarely used: under the roof in the cargo bay.
To attach the 93 x 60 cm netting to the roof trim, all you need to do is mount two aluminum frame elements in the front and the back. They are the same color as the mesh for a seamless look. The elastic cargo mesh can then be attached to the frame and the interior grab handles with 12 adjustable straps. To make it easier for you to fill the mesh space, there are also two click buckles in the front for easy access.
Light and flat pieces of equipment, sleeping bags, textiles and the like will find the perfect storage space inside the mesh, even in a fully loaded Jimny.
If you do not have handles on the headlining, 2 ring nuts are supplied to attach the net. Additionally, you can thread an elastic string in a zigzag shape on the underside of the netting for all those lighter items you want quick access to: light blankets, towels, swimming or sports gear etc.
The cargo mesh comes in the colors black, gray and coyote.
