Additional Interior Light for Land Rover NEW DEFENDER The new Defender is being marketed as a true workhorse, but – as always – there’s room for improvement when it comes to the practicalities of working with your L663 on a day-to-day basis. One such aspect is definitely the lighting for the load space in the back. The standard set-up is somewhat sparse but most of all it lacks proper roof lights. This is especially problematic since the cargo area is often filled up or modified by installed racks, boxes and the like. Our LED light bar solves this problem with more than sufficient 396 Lumens light intensity. The lightbar is easily installed on the trim above the cargo door and illuminates the entire load space – helping you to quickly find tools and equipment and ensuring safe working conditions day or night. Mounting the roughly 36 cm long and 2 cm wide LED lightbar is really easy. Simply click the two fastening clips into the edge of the upper door trim. The clips’ custom-shape will hold the lightbar firmly in position. Connecting the device to the Defender’s wiring is just as quick by simply pushing the LED bar’s wire behind the trim and pulling it along the D-pillar towards the standard lamp housing by the fuse box. In most cases, you won’t even have to remove the trim panels. Lastly, the LED bar’s connector is simply plugged into the standard lamp’s socket. And since there is always too much on everyone’s to do list anyway, it’s a great relief when there’s at least one job you never have to worry about before you hit the sleeping bag or your bunk. That’s where the Comfort Control remote for Autoterm/Planar Diesel air heaters 2D and 4D comes in. Completely redesigned and greatly improved when compared to its predecessor, the Comfort Control activates and deactivates your heater based on timer and/or thermostat settings. Choose from three timer modes for recurring heating intervals, a power mode for constant output, ventilation-only modes e.g. for reducing air humidity inside your camper and last but not least the new thermostat mode. The latter was added due to popular request and allows for setting and maintaining comfortable temperatures by individual degrees centigrade. Practical folding console for Land Rover Defender The vehicle seat in the Land Rover Defender can be easily folded backwards with this folding console, thus providing access to the battery and the electrical components located under the seat. All seats with 405 mm track spacing, e.g. Scheelmann, König, Recaro etc., can be fitted. The original running rails of the Defender are still used and retain their function without restriction. They are attached to the original points on the running rails using the mounting kit supplied. The folding console is also a seat rail extension by approx. 35 mm, a combination with our seat rail extensions is not advisable (although technically feasible). These seat consoles are made of ceramic-blasted stainless steel. Strong window for strong ropes In the module chain from the winch to the hook, winch windows play an important but often underestimated part. Once you have opted for ultra-light but high-strength synthetic mountain equipment, the rope windows are indispensable for safe and comfortable use. But winch window is not the same as winch window: a quality product improves handling and extends the service life of the ropes even more. That's why we now set up our own Nakatanenga winch window made of hard anodized aluminum. Harteloxal is an electrolytically produced outer layer which, in addition to improved wear, corrosion and UV protection, also achieves excellent sliding properties. With these characteristics, the rope window conforms to military standard MIL-A-8625F TYPE III. In addition, our winch window is also significantly lower than many other products on the market. This guarantees a smaller bending angle when the rope is rolled up. This protects the synthetic fibers and ensures that dirt is wiped well before the rope winds on the roll. The Nakatanenga winch window can be ordered bundled with the 30m synthetic rope in gray or orange, with or without winch hooks.
