Heavy Duty Clutch Kit for Land Rover Defender TD5 The clutch has to transmit enormous forces, especially when shifting gears under higher loads, e.g. in trailer operation or in vehicles with increased performance. A sometimes occurring problem in connection with the original clutch of the Defender is the penetration of oil from the engine or the gearbox into the clutch bell. This oil is absorbed by the porous friction linings and repeatedly comes into contact with the friction lining surface during driving due to the frictional heat generated. As a result of the reduced frictional engagement, the friction linings generate more heat and glaze. The heat is a measure of the converted energy that is no longer available to the drive!The organic lining used in this clutch cannot absorb oil and therefore cannot vitrify. It convinces with specially adjusted friction modifiers with a soft response behaviour and enables a 100% frictional connection. Lateral roll of the vehicle is noticeably reduced. The air springs are inflated using the supplied hoses which are routed to an accessible location. A hand pump can be used for this purpose, as can a compressor, or they can simply be filled at the petrol station. Nakatanenga Mudguard Stowage Box The Nakatanenga mudguard storage boxes for the Land Rover Defender 90 / 110 are very light thanks to the case construction used, yet robust - an ideal combination for any touring vehicle! In addition, there are very high-quality fittings with field-proven performance features and great flexibility in design. We offer the box in two lengths as standard. The short design (630 mm length) is intended for the right-hand side of the Defender. The long design (900 mm length) is used on the left-hand side. If an internal roll cage is fitted, a mudguard stowage box can still be fitted: no modification is necessary on the right side due to the tank connection, the short box is used on the left. If you need special lengths or already have other installations in the rear of the vehicle, please contact us - we can work out very flexible solutions for you! High quality Nakatanenga crossbars for Land Rover Defender Who does not need an entire roof rack on his Land Rover Defender, because just want to mount a roof tent on two cross-beams, for which the Nakatanenga CargoBear crossbars are optimally suited! They are identical to the crossbars of the CargoBear roof rack and therefore combine all their advantages: made of a light and stable aluminum-magnesium alloy (AlMg3) high quality powder coated (RAL 9005 - deep black) width: 1.450 mm (of which 1.300 mm for the usable area) length: 120 mm completely made in Germany Furthermore, two or three brackets can be upgraded by buying the missing parts to a full CargoBear roof rack - this is just the advantage of the modular system carrier! Solar panel for bonnet Next generation solar cells are increasingly integrated into structural components. Instead of separate, awkwardly mounted modules on the roof of a house, for example, the roof tiles themselves function as solar panels. Our PV modules for the hoods of 4x4s and vans follow this principle. While they do not yet replace the hood, they are so thin (only 3 mm) and so flexible that they precisely fit the shape of the hood – making them hard to recognize as an extra add-on. In addition, they are also extremely aerodynamic and robust enough to even step on them if needed. The hood modules for Defenders Td5 and Td4, New Defender, Jimny 2, Mercedes G-Class and Sprinter have an output of between 75 and 90 W at 12 V, depending on the model. Your only requirement is sufficient sunlight to generate enough power for the primary and secondary batteries in the car during the day. This in turn enables you to reliably operate all the devices needed in a camper or expedition vehicle: navigation and communication devices, laptop, cooking equipment, refrigerator and much more. Your equipment always remains fully functional and a sufficient charge of the starter battery is also guaranteed. Mounting the PV module and wiring it up to the batteries in the vehicle are equally easy DIY jobs. The included adhesive tape is all you need to attach the panel to the hood while the intelligent charge controller and the adapter allow for plug & play electric installation. Note: as the connection is individual, the power cables may have to be extended.

From bumpers to snorkels – the right Defender accessories for the road ahead
If you want to turn a Defender into a travel vehicle, you need more than good spirit and a full tank. A winch bumper, for example – not because you've bogged yourself down, of course, but purely to pull everyone else out. We recommend our Nakatanenga winch bumper for the Defender, available as a bundle with winches from Horntools or Superwinch, with or without auxiliary lights.
But there are moments when no prayer helps, only proper recovery gear. With recovery points, rear crossmember reinforcements and traction boards, you stay in control even when the ground decides to create its own adventure. Everything is robust, tested and ready for real-world off road use.
If you're planning long distances far from civilisation, it's best to upgrade with a 56-litre auxiliary tank or a 66-litre version, while the Defender underbody protection ensures sharp rocks, roots or curious boulders don't leave deeper marks. The Defender snorkel, or raised air intake, is essential for anyone heading into desert regions or water crossings – though even Hamburg puddles can look surprisingly deep. Available for Td4, Td5 and Tdi in different versions for Defenders with or without roll cages.
Defender suspension, wheels and tyres
No adventure without proper suspension. A Defender suspension kit isn't about taste, it depends on how you use the vehicle. Whether it's a 90, 110 or 130, there's a setup for every purpose – from a family daily driver to a fully loaded long-distance touring vehicle. For the right off road look, you can add steel wheels such as our classic ANR wheels, Wolf wheels or equally robust Dotz Dakar wheels.

Interior with character – sports seats for the Defender
If you cover long distances, you should sit comfortably. With new seat foams you can preserve the original Defender seat charm, Defender sports seats add modern support on rough tracks, and matching seat covers protect the material or hide the scars of past expeditions. Classic style returns with the right Defender steering wheels.
And then there's the sort of Defender accessories that make you wonder why Land Rover never fitted them from the factory: leather door handles, a proper glove box, a sturdy A-pillar grab handle so getting in doesn't feel like a mini mountain climb every time.
Seat rail extensions – apparently British engineers didn't know tall legs. A two-colour interior light, a handy rear cubbybox tray and of course the rear door strut that stops the door from hitting your back when the Defender is on uneven ground.
Dual battery system, electrics and lighting – power where you need it
Whether it's a heater, laptop, fridge or phone, you need power on the road. That's why one of the first upgrades many Defenders receive is a dual battery system. Ours comes with a stainless steel bracket for two Banner 80Ah batteries, including wiring loom and split relay. You can add a battery monitor if desired. Perfectly matched with the bonnet solar panel for Td5 and Td4.
In the lighting section you'll find everything from 7-inch headlights and LED indicators to light bars from Osram and Vision-X, plus a matching lamp bracket. Reversing lights, interior lighting and a number plate light with camera are also part of the range.
Roof racks, storage and order in the chaos
The CargoBear roof rack for the Defender is almost too good-looking to load up. Flat, walkable, with pass-throughs and made for our Roof Lodge tents, mounted with a quick mount system that works with different roof tents. Alternatively, the mobile parking heater in an aluminium box also warms the roof tent – or the garden pavilion if needed.
