Blower control for Land Rover Defender Fan and heater in classic Defenders are notoriously poor in performance and reliability – especially in northern latitudes, where cold winters and rainy days regularly impair comfort and safety in the cockpit. While Land Rover upgraded to an improved fan heater for the Td4 (MY 2007), all previous models can easily be retrofitted with an electronic control system. In contrast to the old analog fan heater, the new electronic control system allows for continuous adjustments. This ensures more efficient operation and therefore better ventilation, heating and dehumidification in the interior. Heating your vehicle’s interior can be achieved much quicker, as is demisting or de-icing of the windows. Additionally, the electronic control is much less prone to wear than the old mechanical solution using sliders and resistors, which are susceptible to shocks and vibrations. Practical folding console for Land Rover Defender The vehicle seat in the Land Rover Defender can be easily folded backwards with this folding console, thus providing access to the battery and the electrical components located under the seat.   All seats with 405 mm track spacing, e.g. Scheelmann, König, Recaro etc., can be fitted. The original running rails of the Defender are still used and retain their function without restriction. They are attached to the original points on the running rails using the mounting kit supplied. The folding console is also a seat rail extension by approx. 35 mm, a combination with our seat rail extensions is not advisable (although technically feasible).   These seat consoles are made of ceramic-blasted stainless steel. Complete solution for clean diesel flow Powerful 100 W heating sleeve for fuel filters with a diameter between 73-95 mm. The sleeve has got crimped connectors and a wiring harness (incl. time relay and push-button). It prevents the gelling of fuel in colder temperatures and can be fitted to any vehicle with 12 V. Compared to customary sleeves this silicone heating sleeve is very flexible and can be fitted to many diesel filters. The sleeve guarantees ideal heating as it sits closely to the filter. Comes with powerful velcro strips for fitting. The waterproof wiring harness is fitted with a time relay with a push-button. The sleeve is switched on by push-button, it then heats for six minutes until it switches off automatically or for another six minutes if you press the button again. In cold climates your diesel fuel is prone to gelling as paraffin crystals form which turn the fuel flaky. As a result fuel flow through the filter stops and your engine loses power until it finally cuts out. Once the filter is blocked, it can only be freed by inducing heat. By emitting this heat and transferring it to the filter, our heating sleeve prevents the clogging of the filter element. The paraffin crystals are immediately dissolved by the induction of heat and the fuel can easily pass the filter again. HiLift jacking bracket for Defender 110 Station Wagon Whether off-road or in normal operation, a good ratchet jack like the Hi-Lift is unbeatable in many situations, not only for recovery, but as a mobile replacement winch, as a spreading tool and much more. The only disadvantage: Hi-Lift, JackAll and other identical jacks take up a lot of space with their non-dismountable length of usually 48"/122 cm and definitely do not fit under the driver's seat like the small OEM standard jacks. But fortunately there are also other seats in the Defender 110 Station Wagon. This is where the impeccably modern cockpit by design director Gerry McGovern and colleagues pays homage to the interior of the classic Defender, the original Landy. Good for us, because we immediately spotted an opportunity to improve storage capabilities: with our nifty dashboard bag for the New Defender. The open dashboard shelf is where you put all the odds and ends in your car. It was like that in the old Landy, it will probably be the same in the new one. But once you’re testing the L663’s tilt angle or maximum gradient, our new dashboard bag, made from easy-to-clean, robust nylon, will keep your stuff from actually flying around. Installing the bag firmly in the dash takes only a few minutes. The zipper has two sliders so that the bag can be opened and shut from both sides. On the inside, mesh compartments and Velcro fleece allow for organized and secure storage of all kinds of items. The front features MOLLE fleece to attach patches and other little things. Since the New Landy sports a designer cockpit, we used transparent plastic material on top of the bag. This allows for the ambient LEDs in the dashboard and the day light from the opening above to filter through into the bag’s interior.
