When it counts: 2.5 litre stainless steel compressed air tank for travel & off-road use An air pressure tank with 2.5L capacity, but only 77 mm in diameter, for all the difficult mounting spots. Stackable and completely manufactured from stainless steel, this tank is pressure checked and available by itself and as a bundle. When you're out on an adventure there is never a gasstation when you need one, especially when you desperately need petrol or air. But since you won't get around airing down on rough trails or in the desert sand, you will need a compressor either way. A compressor is certainly the easyest way to handle this frequent change in tirepressure, depending on the terrain, but a compressor always needs an air pressure tank, which is always either too small or when appropriate too big to be mounted anywhere efficiently. This problem can now be solved by this tank, because with a diameter of only 77 mm this tank can be squeezed in various different spots all around the car. Thanks to this the stackability of the tank allows you to easyly reach a capacity that enables the use of air pressure tools. While welding the tank it's impinged with forming gas to make the tank completely corrosion free and the pressure test guatantees incredible longevity. As a source for the pressurized air we recomend one of the highly sought after VIAIR compressors. Beware: none of the necessary hoses are come with the tank since the hose-lenght varies depending on the desired mounting point. Accessory kit for winches Whether as an accessories kit for winching enthusiasts or as handy emergency pack on overlanding trips, our Nakatanenga winching packages contain everything you need when you’re stuck in a rut. You have the choice between a steel version, primarily for steel cables, or the lightweight pack made from synthetics and aluminum, exclusively designed for synthetic winch ropes. Both varieties basically consist of the same components: two recovery straps, a pulley or block, shackles, protective gloves and a bag. The steel rope kit contains two steel shackles, a foldable snatch block with a work load WLL of 3.5 tons and a shoulder bag made from 100 % cotton. The synthetic kit boasts an NMP pulley made from Eloxal coated aluminum, three soft shackles and the Nakatanenga tool bag coated in robust and waterresistant Nylon PU. Straps Key items in the accessory kits are two 77 mm wide, high quality recovery straps. Made from polyamides, these straps come in lengths of 2 and 8 m and have a breaking strength of up to 9 tons. By design, the short strap is also a perfect tree trunk protector. FYI: The long strap is a new addition to the steel set and does not fit the cotton bag. It has to be stored separately. Shackles The recovery straps feature end loops strengthened by machine sewn Polyester coats. The 10 mm soft shackles in orange or gray are fixed through these end loops or “eyes”. The kit contains two soft shackles for this purpose and another one to fix the NMP block. The synthetic shackles are ultra-light and with a breaking strength of up to 12 t extremely loadable. As always, synthetics means little danger of injury, easy handling, no corrosion and no damaging of vehicle and equipment. The steel kit on the other hand uses traditional steel shackles with screw bolts. Pulleys The pulleys or blocks in the two kits differ considerably in design, material and usage. In the synthetics kit, the NMP block made from hard, Eloxal coated aluminum is fixed by a soft shackle and is exclusively meant to be used with plastic winch ropes of 8 to 14 mm thickness. Produced to military standards, this block has a breaking strength of 18 t and weighs only 1.65 kg. WARNING: Again, the NMP pulley must not be used with steel cables. If you are using steel cables, please choose the other kit with the metal snatch block. Our construction of high-strength 6 mm galvanised steel and a 15 mm polymer pulley accepts any type of mountain rope between 8 - 13 mm: Synthetic, plasma and steel ropes.The working load of the pulley is 9,000 lbs or just over 4 t, the breaking load is 19,300 lbs or over 8.7 t and is best suited for steel ropes. Bags The synthetics kit comes in our robust, high quality Nakatanenga tool bag. It’s flexible, very lightweight and uses just as much storage space as the actual contents. That makes it ideal for quick, compact packing and easy transport of all your winching and recovery equipment. Shackles and smaller item fit into separate pockets inside. The steel kit can be stowed in the cotton shoulder bag, with the exception of the long strap. Gloves Last but not least, both sets come with a pair of protective gloves, made from elastic synthetic materials. These sturdy gloves feature grippy Almara plastic leather in the palm area and are not available separately, unlike the rest of the contents.

Blower control for Land Rover Defender Fan and heater in classic Defenders are notoriously poor in performance and reliability – especially in northern latitudes, where cold winters and rainy days regularly impair comfort and safety in the cockpit. While Land Rover upgraded to an improved fan heater for the Td4 (MY 2007), all previous models can easily be retrofitted with an electronic control system. In contrast to the old analog fan heater, the new electronic control system allows for continuous adjustments. This ensures more efficient operation and therefore better ventilation, heating and dehumidification in the interior. Heating your vehicle’s interior can be achieved much quicker, as is demisting or de-icing of the windows. Additionally, the electronic control is much less prone to wear than the old mechanical solution using sliders and resistors, which are susceptible to shocks and vibrations. The retrofit kit includes the electronic control, a stepless slider and all the assembly parts for the connections. Installation instructions are included.

Complete solution for clean diesel flow Powerful 100 W heating sleeve for fuel filters with a diameter between 73-95 mm. The sleeve has got crimped connectors and a wiring harness (incl. time relay and push-button). It prevents the gelling of fuel in colder temperatures and can be fitted to any vehicle with 12 V. Compared to customary sleeves this silicone heating sleeve is very flexible and can be fitted to many diesel filters. The sleeve guarantees ideal heating as it sits closely to the filter. Comes with powerful velcro strips for fitting. The waterproof wiring harness is fitted with a time relay with a push-button. The sleeve is switched on by push-button, it then heats for six minutes until it switches off automatically or for another six minutes if you press the button again. In cold climates your diesel fuel is prone to gelling as paraffin crystals form which turn the fuel flaky. As a result fuel flow through the filter stops and your engine loses power until it finally cuts out. Once the filter is blocked, it can only be freed by inducing heat. By emitting this heat and transferring it to the filter, our heating sleeve prevents the clogging of the filter element. The paraffin crystals are immediately dissolved by the induction of heat and the fuel can easily pass the filter again. Practical folding console for Land Rover Defender The vehicle seat in the Land Rover Defender can be easily folded backwards with this folding console, thus providing access to the battery and the electrical components located under the seat.   All seats with 405 mm track spacing, e.g. Scheelmann, König, Recaro etc., can be fitted. The original running rails of the Defender are still used and retain their function without restriction. They are attached to the original points on the running rails using the mounting kit supplied. The folding console is also a seat rail extension by approx. 35 mm, a combination with our seat rail extensions is not advisable (although technically feasible).   These seat consoles are made of ceramic-blasted stainless steel. However, the trend is now quite clearly to high-performance synthetic fibers, the steel in the ratio strength to weight are often superior and otherwise bring in handling many benefits.  The advantages of our 30 m synthetic rope compared to steel are manifold, but above all there are two main arguments: safety and weight. When steel cables break, heavy, sharp-edged metal lashes through the air uncontrollably, causing damage and the worst possible injuries. Should our new 2.3 kg light rope really reach the 9.5 t breaking load once, the ends will simply fall to the ground. Even when handling the steel cable, cuts caused by loose or broken wires are not uncommon, but excluded in synthetics. In addition, the much lighter Dyneem rope not only relieves the operator, the car also benefits in terms of statics and driving characteristics. Synthetic ropes are low maintenance, washable, easy to roll up and down due to low friction, and are less sensitive to UV, chemical and oil products, abrasion and fatigue due to kinking than many other synthetic fibers. They absorb hardly any water and are extremely flexible with a low length elasticity of around 5%. The high-quality workmanship of our synthetic rope is shown in detail:To accommodate the pull hook in the eye splice, the 12mm thimble is made of stainless steel, as well as the 7 mm eyelet for attachment to the winch.
