Heavy Duty Clutch Kit for Land Rover Defender TD5 The clutch has to transmit enormous forces, especially when shifting gears under higher loads, e.g. in trailer operation or in vehicles with increased performance. A sometimes occurring problem in connection with the original clutch of the Defender is the penetration of oil from the engine or the gearbox into the clutch bell. This oil is absorbed by the porous friction linings and repeatedly comes into contact with the friction lining surface during driving due to the frictional heat generated. As a result of the reduced frictional engagement, the friction linings generate more heat and glaze. The heat is a measure of the converted energy that is no longer available to the drive!The organic lining used in this clutch cannot absorb oil and therefore cannot vitrify. It convinces with specially adjusted friction modifiers with a soft response behaviour and enables a 100% frictional connection. Performance Optimization and Speed Unlimiter for all Land Rover Td4 2.4 A well-balanced tuning for your Defender Td4 2.4 - model year 2007-2011, which gets dormant power reserves out of the Puma / TdCi engine without damaging it. In contrast to many others, this tuning does not focus on a maximum increase in power, but instead achieves an engine-friendly and at the same time clearly noticeable increase in horsepower and torque. By reprogramming the control unit, the factory maximum speed / VMax restriction is also completely removed at the same time, allowing the engine to develop its full power spectrum - this is useful for frequent motorway trips, for example. Optionally, the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) can also be switched off - this improves the engine's pulling power. Please note that the EGR valve must not be dismantled, otherwise error codes will be generated. Our software-based deactivation, on the other hand, does not trigger such codes and can, of course, be retrofitted without leaving a trace - this applies to all tuning measures offered here. Galvanised frame for Defender and Discovery
Frame galvanised This is where it all starts with a real 4x4 in general and the (classic) Defender in particular: We’re talking about the ladder-frame chassis, of course. Everything else is open to discussion with most serious off-roaders, that one ain’t. If your older Defender Td4, Td5, Tdi or your Discovery II Td5 is bound for a chassis replacement due to corrosion or structural damage, we can now supply an EU-manufactured, galvanized frame. The manufacturer is a supplier for military Defenders and that’s why critical parts of the chassis are strengthened. More robust than the original, they weigh only slightly more. Overall, the chassis are manufactured to the original measurements and are therefore easy to fit. The frame’s high-quality galvanizing offers superb protection from corrosion and can also be painted to enhance protective qualities even further. It also improves the look of the vehicle and makes technical inspections go more smoothly, judging from experience. All you need before the paint job is an application of Etch Primer to create an adhesive layer between zinc and paint. Etch Primer is a highly adhesive one-component epoxy that can be used on all the usual automotive surface materials. It simply sprays on and is the ideal primer for all subsequent quality finishes. Galvanized standard chassis frames for 90 and 110 can be supplied from the shelf for Defender and Discovery models mentioned above. The Tdi chassis construction supports a Td5 rear crossmember. This has the additional advantage that – in contrast to the Tdi – new towing components are still available, including the height adjustable Dixon Bate system. Chassis for 130 pick-ups or custom models, even 6x6, can be ordered and will be manufactured individually and to spec. Just contact us for assistance, questions or special requests. If you require stamping your original chassis number into the frame, we can supply this service in our own workshop. Simply ask for details.

The ROADspec clutch is specifically designed for your daily road-going Land Rover Defender or Discovery Td5. If you do a bit of towing now and then, perhaps some light off-roading or just use your Landy as a commuter, then the ROADspec has everything you need to keep you going for years to come. Nakatanenga CargoBear 2.0 system roof rack for Land Rover New Defender from 2020 onwards 110 CargoBear, meet the New Defender! New Defender, meet the CargoBear! Two legends are coming together for the first time: the new Land Rover Defender, arguably the most complete 4x4 off-road vehicle at present, and our tried and tested, very successful modular roof rack system CargoBear. The bear crowns every new Landy, whether it’s a 90 or a 110. At Nakatanenga, we took our time to finetune the CargoBear for every design detail, technical specification and user requirement the Defender L663 (from MY 2020) challenged us with. At its full length of 2.41 m, our rack consists of 3 crossbars, two platform elements as well as front and rear modules. The overall width of 1.20 m gives you almost 3 square meters of fully usable cargo space. The entire surface can be loaded and walked upon – a decisive advantage over many competing products. The CargoBear is screwed into the original mounting points of the roof rails which have to be removed, of course. Another great advantage over the competition is the fact that you can configure the CargoBear rack in two heights: At 100 mm, the glass roof – if you have one –remains fully functional. If your Defender doesn’t have a glass roof or if you prefer a lower, more streamlined profile, the rack can be mounted at only 80mm above the roof. Whether you’re choosing the high or low mount, aerodynamics was always our main concern in the CargoBear’s development. There are no legally required speed limits when driving with the rack, but we recommend a top speed of 160 km/h when empty and 130 km/h when loaded. For the overall load capacity please refer to your owner’s manual and the specific version or configuration of your vehicle. The roof rack’s weight of up to 50 kg has to be deducted from the dynamic load capacity. The new Defender’s overall look is perfectly complimented by the matte black powder coating of both aluminum and stainless steel elements. While the V-shaped rear module accommodates the antenna and the rear view camera and guarantees full functionality, the front element is specifically designed to easily integrate an Osram VX1000-CB or other light bars. The fact that the Dotz Dakar has become a classic for all kinds of 4x4‘s is no accident. The steel rim with its timeless design and its high-quality manufacture is tough to beat when it comes to performance, be it a Sahara rally or a weekend trip. Dotz 4x4 designed this rim to be hardwearing and robust above everything else. Whenever the Dakar is released as a new vehicle, you can be sure it has undergone the most rigorous testing regime, giving you the highest quality and extreme durability. The Dotz Dakar is quickly cleaned by hand or pressure washer and due to its special finish it will be very easy on the eye for a long time – something that can’t be said of many steel rims.
