The six solid spokes immediately emphasize what the TX-1 is all about and what off-roaders and overlanders want to have above all: performance. The rims are highly robust, easy to clean and therefore extremely durable. And that leads us to the next point: unfortunately, the TX-1 has been discontinued quite a while ago but if you’ve still mounted a set on your Defender, you’re most likely to hold on tight to your reliable mates from Down Under. Since the original wheel nuts were not as tough as the rims themselves though, we are now offering high-quality replacements, single or in sets of 5. The wheel nuts are made from performance steel and are surface treated by an expert shop with double Zintek 300B and Zintek Top and then passivated with Techseal Black SL2.

Ball joint remover for steering column lever, for Land Rover Defender
Ball joint remover for steering column lever For easy mounting/dismounting of the repair kit RBG000010 (formerly STC3295), the steering column lever now does not have to be laboriously dismantled. Especially with heavy vehicles or those that are often heavily used off-road, the ball joint often fails. Play in the steering and thus more unstable driving behaviour are the result. Until now, the steering column lever / bell crank / steering arm had to be removed, especially on older vehicles this was often only possible with great effort. With this tool, only the ball joint is removed and a new one (from the repair kit RBG000010) is inserted.

Stainless Steel Brake Hose Kit for Land Rover Defender
Improved braking performance & durability After having been proven and tested for many years, stainless steel brake hoses are now becoming accepted in the off-road scene. The advantages the steel braided PTFE hoses have over customary rubber brake hoses are manifold: no expansion of brake lines under braking no expansion due to hot brake fluid under frequent braking very precise brake response no loss of braking power, resulting in shorter stopping distance precise modulation of braking power improved protection from damage through stones, branches, etc., especially important when off-road driving individually tested by manufacturer at 400 bar pressure New and only at Nakatanenga: these steel braided hoses for Land Rover Defender come with a special mount and fastening material to ensure safe mounting of the brake lines to the rear axle. This in-house developed mounting is made from stainless steel and thus also corrosion free. Our brake lines are 50 mm longer than the original hoses and thus suitable for larger axle travel, e.g. for lifted vehicles. They are sufficient for vehicle lifting kits upt to 90 mm. If you require different lengths, please contact us. These brake lines come with a TUV certificate of approval. In Germany such changes to the brake lines have to be TUV registered for your vehicle. We recommend to check brake fluid level and if necessary a replacement of the brake fluid. The hydraulic system has to be bled after fitting new brake lines. Any work on the braking system should always be carried out by a trained mechanic! Effective help with power loss: vacuum can as a spare part If you’re experiencing performance problems with the turbo, the problem can be as simple as a faulty, leaky or seized actuator. The actuator is pneumatically regulated, purely mechanical and is designed to open the wastegate in the turbo charger. At high load, a good part of the hot exhaust gases are thus diverted directly into the exhaust system without propelling the turbo beyond its own safety limits and the critical boost pressure for the engine. Generally speaking, if your turbo stops working correctly, Land Rover will only supply the entire turbo assembly. But if the fault lies only with the actuator, you can order the module as a separate replacement part from us. In many cases, that can solve your problem without having to resort to buying a complete turbo assembly. Installing the new actuator in the Td5’s turbo is fairly easy. Simply screw it onto the bracket and attach both the actuator arm to the wastegate mechanism and the pressure hose to the actuator. Assuming your adjustment screw on the old actuator was in the correct position, simply set the new actuator’s arm to the same length to achieve the correct settings.

Additional Interior Light for Land Rover NEW DEFENDER The new Defender is being marketed as a true workhorse, but – as always – there’s room for improvement when it comes to the practicalities of working with your L663 on a day-to-day basis. One such aspect is definitely the lighting for the load space in the back. The standard set-up is somewhat sparse but most of all it lacks proper roof lights. This is especially problematic since the cargo area is often filled up or modified by installed racks, boxes and the like. Our LED light bar solves this problem with more than sufficient 396 Lumens light intensity. The lightbar is easily installed on the trim above the cargo door and illuminates the entire load space – helping you to quickly find tools and equipment and ensuring safe working conditions day or night. Mounting the roughly 36 cm long and 2 cm wide LED lightbar is really easy. Simply click the two fastening clips into the edge of the upper door trim. The clips’ custom-shape will hold the lightbar firmly in position. Connecting the device to the Defender’s wiring is just as quick by simply pushing the LED bar’s wire behind the trim and pulling it along the D-pillar towards the standard lamp housing by the fuse box. In most cases, you won’t even have to remove the trim panels. Lastly, the LED bar’s connector is simply plugged into the standard lamp’s socket. To avoid having to replace the entire base plate of the rear tub in the event of advanced contact corrosion, we now offer an exclusive, easy-to-fit repair kit for the particularly susceptible area under the seat bench. The kit consists of the main plate, two side parts and sufficient rivets. For installation (see pictures), the existing welding points on the rear tub are first drilled out. The sheet metal is then simply positioned accordingly, glued in place with body sealant and fixed at the sides with clamps. Once dry, drill the sheet metal at the pre-drilled welding points and insert the rivets. The two side panels are then attached in the same way. Braided steel brake lines for Land Rover Discovery II - improved braking performance & 50 mm longer, incl. parts certificate After having been proven and tested for many years, stainless steel brake hoses are now becoming accepted in the off-road scene. The advantages the steel braided PTFE hoses have over customary rubber brake hoses are manifold: no expansion of brake lines under braking no expansion due to hot brake fluid under frequent braking very precise brake response no loss of braking power, resulting in shorter stopping distance precise modulation of braking power improved protection from damage through stones, branches, etc., especially important when off-road driving individually tested by manufacturer at 400 bar pressure Our brake lines are 50 mm longer than the original hoses and thus suitable for larger axle travel, e.g. for lifted vehicles. They are sufficient for vehicle lifting kits upt to 90mm. If you require different lengths, please contact us. These brake lines come with a TUV certificate of approval. In Germany such changes to the brake lines have to be TUV registered for your vehicle. We recommend to check brake fluid level and if necessary a replacement of the brake fluid. The hydraulic system has to be bled after fitting new brake lines. Any work on the braking system should always be carried out by a trained mechanic! See illustration
