Differential lock mounting kit for the Land Rover Defender - Precise retrofitting made easy To facilitate the installation of the standard differential locks (Detroit Truetrac / Detroit Locker / KAM Locker) in the Rover and P38 axles of the Defender, we have put together an installation kit which contains all the necessary materials. It is NOT suitable for the Salisbury axle! Comes with: 2 bearings RTC3095OE 3 litres of hypoid gear oil GL5 Petec silicone sealant thread sealant, intermediate strength This kit does not substitute the necessary technical expertise and accuracy when fitting a diff locker. If you don't feel up to the job, please have a specialised garage do the fitting as otherwise expensive damage to both locker and axle might ensue. After re-filling the diffs there will remain a rest of about 1/2 liter. This can be used for topping up the axles at a later time or to top up the LT230 transmission gearbox.

Installation kit The problem of the susceptible diesel pump on the TD5 is well known: Even comparatively minor contamination can cause the diesel pump to fail. Annoyingly, the original pump is located in the tank, which means that you first have to remove the tank to access the diesel pump.Our replacement diesel pump is not installed in the tank but outside, which makes it easy to access and it also has a replaceable filter. This can be easily replaced in the event of contamination. The pump is located outside the tank and is looped into the line. The fine filter mounted on the suction side gets all dirt and grime out of the diesel base and is easy and inexpensive to replace (see replacement filter). The original pump must be removed and replaced with a suction hose. The pump housing with tank sensor, however, remains.The pump works with any tank or auxiliary tank. Since the pump also has suction power, it does not have to be installed at the lowest point. The connection is made via LR quick-release couplings or optionally via normal diesel hoses. The pump is installed outside the tank in a protected place. On the Defender 110, for example, above the rear axle on the chassis beam. Our pre-assembled complete kit with replacement filter comes with detailed installation instructions. The tank must be removed for installation, as the original pump is removed. Furthermore, it provides space for the installation of any 52mm round instrument - e.g. an exhaust gas temperature or outside temperature display. This installation space can also be closed off by means of a dummy plug supplied. The panel is available in matt or glossy finish. We will be happy to advise you on the installation of your desired unit. We recommend multimedia devices from brand manufacturers such as Kenwood, Alpine or Pioneer. You can also have the double DIN panel installed in our workshop, including the switch and the multimedia device you brought with you (installation only possible up to 7" display).

Made of 3mm aluminum with additional powder coating (all RAL colours). Supplied in pair with rivets. Please note: the protective covers for Defender form MY 2007 er slightly shorter than for previous models, they do not reach up to the antenna mounting as production tolerances are too great. It is therefore not necessary to cut an antenna hole. In the CLASSIC version the air intake cover is mounted inside the chequer plate, in the non-classic version this is mounted on top of the plate.

Repair plate C-pillar left or left side for Defender 110/130
All the nooks and crannies in your Defender attract and hold water or wet dirt, which makes them a hotbed for corrosion – small wonder that the door areas are often affected by rust. Especially the C pillars in 4/5-door models frequently require replacement in Defender restorations because fittings, screw holes, undersides and the gaps between struts and body panels are a breeding ground for corrosion and often develop critical damage. Instead of piecemeal repair with angle grinder and welder, it’s often preferable to swap the entire component. We are offering individual C posts for the right or left side of all models where door seals are only pushed in and not riveted. If you have riveted seals, they need to be adapted.
