Diff Locker Fitting Kit for for Land Rover Defender
Differential lock mounting kit for the Land Rover Defender - Precise retrofitting made easy To facilitate the installation of the standard differential locks (Detroit Truetrac / Detroit Locker / KAM Locker) in the Rover and P38 axles of the Defender, we have put together an installation kit which contains all the necessary materials. It is NOT suitable for the Salisbury axle! Comes with: 2 bearings RTC3095OE 3 litres of hypoid gear oil GL5 Petec silicone sealant thread sealant, intermediate strength This kit does not substitute the necessary technical expertise and accuracy when fitting a diff locker. If you don't feel up to the job, please have a specialised garage do the fitting as otherwise expensive damage to both locker and axle might ensue. After re-filling the diffs there will remain a rest of about 1/2 liter. This can be used for topping up the axles at a later time or to top up the LT230 transmission gearbox.

The upper edge of the bag is provided with a revolving Velcro which makes the bag easy to open and close. Additional closure protection is provided by the buckle. Diesel replacement pump for Land Rover Defender Td5 w. Installation kit The problem of the susceptible diesel pump on the TD5 is well known: Even comparatively minor contamination can cause the diesel pump to fail. Annoyingly, the original pump is located in the tank, which means that you first have to remove the tank to access the diesel pump.Our replacement diesel pump is not installed in the tank but outside, which makes it easy to access and it also has a replaceable filter. This can be easily replaced in the event of contamination. The pump is located outside the tank and is looped into the line. The fine filter mounted on the suction side gets all dirt and grime out of the diesel base and is easy and inexpensive to replace (see replacement filter). The original pump must be removed and replaced with a suction hose. The pump housing with tank sensor, however, remains.The pump works with any tank or auxiliary tank. Since the pump also has suction power, it does not have to be installed at the lowest point. The connection is made via LR quick-release couplings or optionally via normal diesel hoses. The pump is installed outside the tank in a protected place. On the Defender 110, for example, above the rear axle on the chassis beam. Our pre-assembled complete kit with replacement filter comes with detailed installation instructions. The tank must be removed for installation, as the original pump is removed. If the measurement is 22.2 mm, a Ford flywheel is installed. The clutch is not compatible with this and will malfunction sooner or later. If a Ford flywheel with a measurement of 22.2 mm is installed, you will also need the following Land Rover flywheel.
