For maximum off-road performance This kit consists of two half shafts and two heavy-duty drive flanges. The Raptor Heavy Duty rear shafts are made from SAE4340 Nickel Chromoly alloy steel, that provide the optimum level of strength and flex when heat-treated. They have the ability to twist without breaking as well as extremely high fatigue resistance, which enables the shafts to tolerate repeated shock loading. This ability to flex without breaking also helps protecting other drivetrain components. All shafts are 24 spline and primarily suited to post 1994 axles, although they can be fitted to earlier vehicles with additional work.
