Complete set Nakatanenga dual battery system 160Ah for LR Defender Nakatanenga's dual battery system for the Land Rover Defender 90/110/130 offers a high capacity, revolutionary AGM technology, safe and simple battery management, high output in electricity when using a winch, for example, and the security to start your vehicle even on a low charge while using a freezer or that large HiFi-system. The system easily installs underneath the driver's seat of your Defender. The black bracket holds the two 80 Ah AGM batteries from Banner in place. These batteries a resistant to vibration and thus can not spill, e.g. in case you roll your 4x4, they're also protected from deep discharge and capable of a very high output. Since they are spill-proof they also do not release any vapors and even deliver in very cold temperatures. All while not affecting the mechanism of your seat. The relays mount directly to the bracket itself, guaranteeing the physical split between the two batteries while allowing you to connect them at will. While driving both are being charged and when turned off only the one is being drained while the second stands fully charge ready to fire the engine back up, very useful for cold temperatures. At the same time, with the push of a button, you can join the two together should you ever need an especially high power output, e.g. during long winching operations. The monitor comes with an HBC systems is mounted directly to the dashboard for easy supervision and operation by the driver. This set includes all the necessary wiring, odds and ends, and hardware necessary to install it. The brands above ship their heavy-duty wiring harness with 35 mm² copper cables and mounts. The Cyrix system, on the other hand, is the value option and is engineered for lighter use. The Crix system can be upgraded with a monitor at any time, be aware though that the upgrade is far more expensive than just buying the HBC system (Cyrix incl.) from the start. Another upgrade to any of the models is to expand the system with a heavy-duty jump cable and a third party electricity source for long stays at campgrounds. To simplify the wiring mess and ease the potential search for faulty connections we recommend our fusebox with power and grounding distribution, to be mounted underneath the passenger seat. However, cheap plastic mounts are usually a waste of money and not everyone wants to stick suction cups to their windows either. Our mounting plates for the side handles on the dashboard of the New Defender are designed to support heavy duty mounts – like those from market leader RAM Mounts. The plate’s tight hold makes sure that nothing wobbles, collapses or falls off. But most of all, there are no suction cups involved as they tend to come loose when off-roading or speeding along bumpy dirt roads.The mounting plate is powder-coated black to match the interior of the new Landy and you simply fasten it with the existing screws of the handle. No drilling is required and removal is as easy as installation. Three strong, internally threaded 6 mm screw holes (M6) allow you to mount ball joints, brackets and other mounting equipment, either from RAM Mounts or other brands. Battery combiner Cyrix-ct 12/24V
Cyrix-ct relay - Smart charging system for two batteries in off-road or camper operation Electronically operated relay for simultaneous charging of two batteries (e.g. starting- and board-battery). The relay is installed between the two batteries, it stays disconnected until one of the batteries reaches a predetermined voltage level. Now the relay connects the two and both are fully charged. This method ensures that even when only using the vehicles for short distances, the starter battery is always ready to go. Additionally, the Cyrix-ct software monitors the tendencies of the voltage levels and then optimizes the delay accordingly. 12/24 V Automatic: The Cyrix-ct relay automatically recognizes the voltage and adjusts the output. Heat protection: The Cyrix disconnects when he recognizes temperatures exceeding the optimal operating temperature and shuts off accordingly, the relay connects automatically once the temperature has fallen again. The cable lengths are adapted to the installation situation in the Land Rover Defender 90/110/130. Due to the cable cross-section of 50 mm², even high currents can be transmitted safely, so that enough current reaches the cable winch and is not converted into heat in the cable. Nakatanenga has the exclusive distribution rights for the dual battery monitor in Europe. The digital technology used in these monitors makes it possible to accurately reproduce the non-linear characteristics of lead-acid batteries. Using the green button in the centre, you can switch the information output on the display from one battery to the next. The dual battery monitor emits an audible alarm/tone as soon as the battery is either overcharged (14.8 V and above) or over-discharged (12.2 V and below). The dual battery monitor has been specially developed to be combined with the Cyrix-ct intelligent automatic cut-off relay. While the new jump starter cord has this added feature, we've managed to keep the price the same. The offer includes two additional 1 meter cables. The first cable has matching cable lugs that connect to the Defender battery. Adjustment adapter SpeedoHealer When fitting new tire sizes, modern vehicles with a factory-integrated speedometer usually have a speedometer discrepancy, as this is often not configurable. In the long run, the incorrect speed indication is annoying and sometimes causes an incorrect total mileage (the odometer goes wrong) and consequently even a poorer resale value of the vehicle. The SpeedoHealer speedometer alignment is an inexpensive solution to avoid this problem. Suitable for TD5 vehicles from MY1998 to 2007 The alignment adapter is simply connected to the green speedometer sensor located on the transfer case of the Defender. The SpeedoHealer then detects the correct speed from the output pulse of the speedometer sensor. Solar panel for bonnet Next generation solar cells are increasingly integrated into structural components. Instead of separate, awkwardly mounted modules on the roof of a house, for example, the roof tiles themselves function as solar panels. Our PV modules for the hoods of 4x4s and vans follow this principle. While they do not yet replace the hood, they are so thin (only 3 mm) and so flexible that they precisely fit the shape of the hood – making them hard to recognize as an extra add-on. In addition, they are also extremely aerodynamic and robust enough to even step on them if needed. The hood modules for Defenders Td5 and Td4, New Defender, Jimny 2, Mercedes G-Class and Sprinter have an output of between 75 and 90 W at 12 V, depending on the model. Your only requirement is sufficient sunlight to generate enough power for the primary and secondary batteries in the car during the day. This in turn enables you to reliably operate all the devices needed in a camper or expedition vehicle: navigation and communication devices, laptop, cooking equipment, refrigerator and much more. Your equipment always remains fully functional and a sufficient charge of the starter battery is also guaranteed. Mounting the PV module and wiring it up to the batteries in the vehicle are equally easy DIY jobs. The included adhesive tape is all you need to attach the panel to the hood while the intelligent charge controller and the adapter allow for plug & play electric installation. Note: as the connection is individual, the power cables may have to be extended.
