DAB+ car splitter adapter, antenna amplifier and crossover With this active antenna splitter, you can use the vehicle's existing FM radio antenna for additional DAB / DAB+ reception. It is therefore ideal for retrofitting DAB receivers. There is no need for a time-consuming replacement or retrofitting of another antenna. The integrated amplifier compensates for the attenuation that usually occurs with antenna combiners and can even lead to better FM reception.Some radios apply a voltage of 12 V to the antenna cable, the so-called phantom power, which supplies the antenna amplifier. In this case, it is called an active antenna. Common receivers cannot provide this 12 V to operate the amplifier - you need a phantom power adapter.
