ClimAir wind deflector for Ineos Grenadier, front Off-road vehicles are not designed for aerodynamics and turbulent air flows, of course. This is seldom noticeable when driving, because you don't usually reach the corresponding speed ranges. However, there is one aspect in which the Defender's rustic box shape very quickly reveals annoying disadvantages, and that is the almost rectangular and fairly vertical windows. Especially when driving off-road or in cold and wet conditions, for example when the Landy's ventilation is weak and the windows mist up, you'll be glad if you can roll the windows down a little. However, the effect described at the beginning of this article soon becomes apparent. The strong turbulence on the angular windows is not only loud, but also draws even more dust and water into the interior of the car. This annoys even hardened off-roaders. The perfectly fitting and extremely robust wind deflectors from ClimAir for the Defender provide an immediate remedy and guarantee an improved supply of fresh air and a pleasant interior climate in all seasons. Cross member for Land Rover Defender In an ideal world, every part on the frame and underbody of a classic Landy would have come galvanized from the start. But of course, that didn’t happen at Land Rover, so corrosion in the substructure is one of the biggest enemies of classic Defenders, Discoveries and Range Rovers. Our hot-dip galvanized cross member is the perfect and durable replacement solution for corroded original parts. In 110 Defenders it sits under the second row of seats and not only secures the floor construction permanently, but also provides mounting points for sidebars, rock sliders, steps and many other attachments. Suitable for Defender 110 (MY until 2016) Station Wagon and Crew Cab as well as 130 Crew Cab (additional drill holes required). Seat pad Land Rover Defender
Seat pad Land Rover Defender Many Landy critics bemoan the seat position in the Defender, the missing elbow room and the spartan original Land Rover seats. But that’s doing a disservice to the furniture from Solihull, especially the improved versions that were introduced in 2007. Even taller drivers, with seat rail extensions installed, can do mile after mile without problems for back and behind. So, if you’re restoring an old Defender or you put too much mileage on yours, it’s worth considering to refurbish the old seats instead of putting brand new ones in. As long as the seat covers are fine and only the foam cores have disintegrated, an upgrade with new seat foams can make a huge difference. This is classic DIY and pretty easy to do with our replacement foams for backrests and seat cushions. Simply remove the whole seat, take the backrest and seat cushion out, remove the covers and rip the old foam off the frame. The new foam cores can be fixed to the frame with standard spray adhesives. Then reverse the process and enjoy your firm new seats. The seat fits all Defender standard outer front seats up to 2016, the backrest for 2007 - 2016. Not suitable for special models.

U-POL RAPTOR - The robust protective coating that also looks good! In contrast to other coatings, the RAPTOR multipurpose coating / painting does not need to be heated. It can simply be sprayed on and then hardens. For a mixture of 1 liter 50ml of paint are required - 1 liter covers an area of approx. 4.2m² - for processing we recommend the standard RAPTOR spray gun, the RAPTOR spray gun with adjustable spray nozzle for better texture adaptation or our roll-on -Set (application via paint roller). To prepare the substrate, we recommend the MIPA Etch primer, the MIPA 1K adhesion promoter, the U-POL universal primer spray, the U-POL etch primer and the 1K plastic adhesion promoter. Control element for Planar Autoterm air parking heater 12V 2D and 4D Comfort is when you don’t have to worry about life’s basics and feeling warm and cozy is definitely one of them, especially when camping, on a weekend trip or a 4x4 adventure. And since there is always too much on everyone’s to do list anyway, it’s a great relief when there’s at least one job you never have to worry about before you hit the sleeping bag or your bunk. That’s where the Comfort Control remote for Autoterm/Planar Diesel air heaters 2D and 4D comes in. Completely redesigned and greatly improved when compared to its predecessor, the Comfort Control activates and deactivates your heater based on timer and/or thermostat settings. Choose from three timer modes for recurring heating intervals, a power mode for constant output, ventilation-only modes e.g. for reducing air humidity inside your camper and last but not least the new thermostat mode. The latter was added due to popular request and allows for setting and maintaining comfortable temperatures by individual degrees centigrade. No more nights in the camper when it’s constantly either too cold or too hot. The new design is also much more comfortable and ergonomic. The OLED display, the multifunctional, non-slip rotary dial as well as two push buttons make selecting and setting the desired functions really easy. Navigating the menus is intuitive and straightforward and basic functions can be accessed directly with a shortcut button. Despite a bigger display and more functions, the Comfort Control is actually smaller in size than its predecessor. With dimension of only 82 x 37 x 19 mm, you can hide it easily but you don’t have to because the new design is a lot more stylish and will make a nice feature in any camper. Concern for space is one thing in camping mobiles, the usage of electricity is another. In that respect, the remote control has also improved by minimizing its own power consumption. Moreover, the Comfort Control is capable of monitoring the voltage, effectively eliminating the danger of the heater deep discharging the battery. Another great feature is an alert function reminding you when to burn off soot deposits in the combustion chamber. Connecting the Comfort Control remote is as easy as plug & play.

The modular roof rack system that has revolutionized the attic conversions on top of Defenders and G-Wagons is now also available for the Jimny II GJ / HJ. The small workhorse from Suzuki is a big performer but has one major disadvantage: the Jimny – due to conceptual constraints – suffers from massive lack of space on the inside. Farmers, foresters and other friends of the 4x4 quickly reach the limits of the Mini-Defender when storing tools and equipment. With the CargoBear for the petite Japanese, there is now a modular and highly flexible roof rack to individually adapt to your needs. The CargoBear’s flat roof silhouette reduces aerodynamic losses and the modular design protects the car’s roof and body by effectively absorbing torsion forces. The deep black, high-quality powder-coated CargoBear modules made of aluminum-magnesium alloy are manufactured entirely in Germany. The bear’s skeleton is made up of either two or three crossbeams. The beams also work by themselves as roof racks. Two panels fit each segment between a pair of crossbars, creating either a short or a full platform over the entire length of the roof. An accompanying wind deflector at the front further improves the aerodynamics of the roof rack, which is already very flat, and offers the possibility of mounting the Osram SX180 or SX300 light bars via special holes. For the rear, an end carrier is included for mounting additional headlights, handles or other accessories. The modular structure over the entire area allows for a flexible yet precise arrangement of lashing points, thereby making your roof load much more secure. Fittings are inserted in the lashing grid on the side or on top of the rack. Single stud fittings are recommended for lighter loads. If it gets heavier, choose ring fittings with double studs. As the name implies, two studs instead of one are inserted into the lashing grid, effectively halving the forces exerted on each point in the grid. The CargoBear’s panels feature a perforated non-slip design, contributing further to your load safety. The modules are supplied with all the necessary fastening material. Wind deflector and end carrier are included in the scope of delivery. Measured from the gutter, the CargoBear is approx. 15 cm high. On the roof it is approx. 5-6cm - depending on the roof, condition, year of construction etc.
