Upgrade rear door damper for Suzuki Jimny 2 GJ/HJ Rear doors on off-road vehicles have to be heavyweight athletes, as they often carry spare wheels and other equipment. Especially when the vehicle is parked on uneven surfaces, opening tailgates – or keeping them open – can be a difficult and heavy task.For the Suzuki Jimny 2 (from model year 2018), we offer an easy-to-fit plug & play solution that does not require any modifications to the vehicle itself. The replacement damper for the rear door is calibrated to an opening angle of approximately 3. That means once you’ve pulled the handle and opened the door to that angle, the damper automatically and gently pushes the door fully open and keeps it in position – even when you’re parked at an angle on slopes or in off-road terrain. Another advantage of the heavy duty damper is the wider opening angle (slightly over 90°) when compared to the original part.

Coupling rod/ Rods for height adjustment Installing lift kits for 4x4’s usually requires complex (and expensive) modifications. Not so if your vehicle comes with a self-regulating air suspension, like the New Defender. Raising the ride height of the New Landy by 1 or 1,6 inches takes very little in terms of effort or budget. The principle is very simple and has been employed with Discovery 5 and Range Rover Sport models for quite some time. Simply replace the original rods on all four wheel suspensions with our replacements. The new rod’s different dimensions will trick the self-regulating suspension to permanently lift the ride by 1” or 1,6”, respectively, in all drive modes. Once the new lift rods are installed, the vehicle’s sensor system will adjust itself automatically to the new ride height after the first restarting of your car. Resetting the ride to original factory settings is just as easy and only a question of minutes. We produce these 1“ and 1,6“ lift rods for the New Defender in our own workshop. The rods are laser machined from extremely robust high-quality plastics and the bushings are created in an additive process. This makes both components highly resistant to degradation by weather or chemicals, like fuel, oils etc. The custom-designed bushings are flexible and extend to both sides of the rods’ connections. In terms of quality, this is a far superior solution over many other products on the market, specifically aluminum rods with cheap off-the-shelf cable grommets. Available as +1“ or + 1,6“. Bumper protection in different colours What’s worse than a scratch on your car? Clearly that very first scratch! How annoying is it when you spot one on a pristine new vehicle? Even when 4x4s generally wear their scars with pride, most signs of heavy usage aren’t necessary, they’re frustrating and also depreciate the value of your vehicle. One of the first areas to show signs of wear and tear – especially with off-road vehicles – is usually the cargo area. But if your 4x4 is a New Defender, would you really want to see a worn and scratched rear bumper? Immediate and long-lasting prevention of wear marks on your New Defender’s rear bumper can be achieved with our designated paint protection film. This high-performance product by industry leader 3M protects your New Defender’s rear bumper from scratches and abrasion even when your loading area is constantly in use for work or sports. And don’t forget the damage a dog’s claws can do to the paint when you carry them regularly in a dog box in the back. Due to its multi-layer structure, the 3M wrap also protects the bumper from chipping caused by the impact of small stones or dropped objects. Installing the paint protection film is really easy. Everything you need is included: cleaning cloth, adhesion promoter wipe, squeegee and detailed instructions. If you’ve never done this before: don’t worry. The protective wrap can be positioned exactly as you need it, but if you have to readjust the position a few millimeters that’s no problem either. Simply slide the film into place. It only starts to adhere once you apply pressure with the squeegee. The protective wrap is available in black, matt black, anthracite grey or silver, making it a perfect visual match for any New Defender color scheme. Comes in one complete „no worries“ kit: foil, squeegee, cleaner, primer. Instructions for wet application: Fill a spray bottle with water and 1–2 drops of washing-up liquid (or mounting/application solution). Remove coarse dirt from the loading sill with a damp cloth and then clean thoroughly with the enclosed cleaning cloth – the surface must be clean and dust-free. Spray the loading sill evenly. Remove the protective film from the film and also spray the adhesive side lightly (so that it does not stick immediately). Apply the film and align it carefully. The moisture allows it to be moved around. Squeegee out the water, working from the centre outwards. Apply even pressure to remove the water and air bubbles. Remove any excess liquid with a cloth. The film is fixed after squeegeeing, but only reaches its final adhesion after 24–48 hours.   During this time: Do not wash, do not use a high-pressure cleaner. Keep as dry as possible and avoid mechanical stress.

Spare wheel air pressure regulator with matching bag Function stacking is when you try to get by with fewer objects because you assign several functions to them. This is particularly important when you have to take space and weight into account when travelling or on expeditions. A spare wheel, for example, is usually just a spare wheel, but with our spare wheel air pressure regulator, the fifth wheel on the vehicle can also become a practical compressed air reservoir. If you inflate your spare tyre to the permitted maximum, you usually have enough pressure available to adjust the inflation of the tyres mounted on the axle or on the mountain bike or to operate compressed air devices such as our Showertube, for example. As the name suggests, our spare tyre pressure regulator basically functions simply as an adjustable equalising valve.The desired pressure is simply preset on the integrated regulator and the two hoses are attached to the "pressure receiver" and then to the spare wheel (compressed air reservoir). The pressure is then exchanged automatically. The spare wheel pump also has brackets for permanent installation and a robust and easy-to-clean nylon PU-coated bag for storage in the car.

Whether you’re going for a more muscular look or just better off-road performance, there are many good reasons to widen your Defender’s stance. You can go for fat MT tires or you can widen the track with wheel spacers or negative offset rims to achieve the desired effect. But keep in mind that your wheel covers may no longer be sufficient for your country’s road regulations and that in turn could affect your 4x4’s road legality. Apart from costly surprises in traffic stops, you also want to avoid potentially dangerous water and mud spray or debris being catapulted from exposed wheels. And then there’s also that slightly unbalanced look… At Nakatanenga, we thought there’s got to be a better solution than what’s out there and that’s why we teamed up with the experts at TREKFINDER to give you a functional, easily attached and exclusive solution to extend your existing original wheel arch guards. The result is a discrete self-adhesive rubber extension strip that widens the original Land Rover wheel arch guard by another 20 mm, simply by sticking it onto the original part. There’s no need to remove the original parts, drill new screw holes etc. The new guard’s protruding adhesive lip fits perfectly onto the original part and makes it very easy to position the 1.5 m extension perfectly. This should also work with identical after-market parts by Britpart et al, but with non-original parts we are unable to provide a warranty, of course. With a little experience and some planning, though, you can easily adjust the strips’ required length or their radius with a boxcutter and some sanding paper. The specified width of 60 mm is measured when mounted from the outer edge of the body. This means that the wing extension is 90 mm wide in total, 30 mm of which are available for mounting on the wheel arch, the remaining 60 mm are for covering the tyre. The fender extension is mounted from "below", i.e. for mounting on the vehicle there should be a minimum of 1 cm wide web edge (= wheel arch edge parallel to the tread of the tyre) in the wheel arch. Winch hook XL white / XXL white Often little attention is paid to an important detail on the winch: the hook. It is of crucial importance for the transmission of power between the winch and the anchorage point and must also be able to be operated safely in stressful situations. Roof console for Suzuki Jimny 2, type GJ On our passionate mission to optimize the storage space in the Suzuki Jimny II in the best possible way, we have set our sights on one of the last remaining spaces in the interior. Having covered the rear area well with the CargoBear shelf, cargo net, tailgate organizer, seat covers and modular window panels, we are left with an empty piece of headliner between the driver and front passenger that is crying out for a storage upgrade. Our roof console made of 2 mm thick aluminum is approx. 73 cm long and 18 cm wide, making it ideal for strapping or screwing on flat and/or long items of equipment, MOLLE bags and the like. Mounting the bracket is extremely simple, regardless of whether a cargo net is already installed or not. In the former case, the retaining plate of the console is attached directly to the strip of the cargo net. If the headlining is still bare, there are two plugged mounting points at the corresponding points at the factory which are used. At the front, the interior light must be removed briefly in order to make two small holes in the trim for the screws. Once the screws have been secured with the nuts, the interior lighting can be refitted.  The roof console for the Jimny 2 is available in black, coyote or gray to match the roof net versions.    

Nakatanenga Seat Bracket for Sports Seats Mounting bracket, non-folding, for sports seats, for Land Rover Defender 90/110/130, for seats with 405 mm seat rail distance, is attached to the original mounting points. Material: stainless steel, ceramic-blasted, optionally with additional black powder coating. The bracket is at the same time a seat rail extension by approx. 35mm, a combination with our seat rail extensions does not make sense (although technically feasible). The height of the console is 31 mm at the front and 61 mm at the rear.

Nakatanenga protection grille wing indicators, for Land Rover Defender The Nakatanenga protective grilles for the mudguard indicators of the Land Rover Defender 90/110/130 are on the one hand a protection of the headlights against mechanical damage (e.g. by branches), on the other hand a design element, which belongs to the classical optics of the vehicle. They are a perfect fit for both the original turn signals and the Nakatanenga LED mudguard turn signals. The lamp guards are manufactured locally from stainless steel and can be given a high-strength black powder coating on request. This can be painted over (e.g. in car colour). Unlike rigid ropes or straps, these elastic synthetic ropes store the kinetic energy of the towing vehicle and release it in controlled doses – for maximum efficiency and safety.The advantages at a glance: Fewer load peaks and lower risk of damage to the vehicle or recovery equipment thanks to elasticity. Even heavier, stuck vehicles can be recovered by lighter towing vehicles. Gentler and more controlled recovery thanks to even energy release. Our KINTO recovery rope (‘Kinetic Tow’) is made of double-braided nylon and polyamide 6.6, is 24 mm thick, 8 m long and offers an impressive breaking load of 13 tonnes. This means that the safe working load (WLL) with a safety factor of 3 is around 2.65–4 tonnes.With an elongation of 30–35%, the rope enables material-friendly recovery – ideally by slowly and evenly approaching the elongation range. The safe operating range is between -70 °C and +99 °C, which far exceeds that of conventional ropes.Thanks to a robust urethane polymer coating, the KINTO rope is water, UV and abrasion resistant. Nevertheless, worn or overstretched ropes lose a significant amount of their load-bearing capacity. The decisive advantage these elastic synthetic ropes have over more rigid traditional straps or plastic ropes is their ability to store kinetic energy from the towing vehicle. This stored energy can build in the elastic rope and is then transferred continuously and smoothly to the trapped vehicle. Primarily, there are two positive effects when recovering cars or 4x4s with kinetic ropes. The rope’s elasticity compensates for sudden load peaks when the towing vehicle inadvertently jerks forward or transfers sudden jolts of force to the rope.
