Glow plug connector Land Rover Defender If the diesel has difficulty getting going when starting from cold, and if it nails and smokes particularly badly, this is often due to the glow plugs. Before replacing the plugs, however, you should first check the condition of the cables and plugs. Often, the problem is simply that cables and plugs are exposed through porous plastic sheathing and the electrical contacts are suffering. As a rule, the service life of the plugs far exceeds that of the cable and plug connections, because cables and plugs and their insulation are naturally much more exposed to mechanical and weather-related influences. With our glow plug connector repair kits, Defender with Td5 and Td4 2.4l engines can be very easily retrofitted in case of problems with cables or connectors. This is also recommended if the glow plug set is being replaced anyway. The advantage of the repair kit is that the next time a problem occurs, it is not necessary to replace the entire wiring harness at great expense; instead, it is sufficient to replace the plug and cable up to the crimp connection. This saves time and money and is also no problem for hobby screwdrivers. ATTENTION: Does NOT fit for Tdi and Td4 2,2l. Scope of delivery: 4 plugs

Cruise control for Land Rover Defender Td5 MY02-MY07 Especially on longer journeys, it's quite tiring to hold the throttle in the Defender. Our new cruise control puts an end to that.Now, at the touch of a button, Defender will maintain the desired cruising speed. The cruise control takes over the current speed and maintains it - exceptions:    if the engine power is insufficient (e.g. high speed and at the same time a significant rise in the road), the cruise control switches off for safety reasons.     when the brake or clutch pedal is pressed.The cruise control is operated via 2 supplied stainless steel buttons:    a SET button to hold and increase the current speed.     a RESET button for switching off the cruise control, as well as for resuming the last set speed.The delivery is made as a complete set incl. detailed and illustrated instructions, which also enable "occasional screwdrivers" to assemble it.Time required: about 1-2 hours.Conclusion: A "must" for all those who often drive on the motorway or undertake long-distance journeys - even the journey to the port in Genoa, for example, becomes a "relaxing" experience...Please note: Really only suitable for Td5 MY02-MY07. The decisive factor is the installed control unit. The identification number of the control unit must start with NNN or NNW! If the identification number begins with MSB, this cruise control is not suitable.

Dirt D-Fenders extend the wheel arch of Land Rover Defender 90 / 110 / 130 and act as a splash guard. Available in different finishes. Dirt D-Fenders close the gap between the bottom of the wheelarch and the mudflap, protecting your Defender against dirt and damage to the paint. Supplied in pairs and come with fitting kit. Dirt D-Fenders can't be used on vehicles fitted with rock sliders. They have not been designed to work with chequerplate sills, but can be modified to fit. Dirt D-Fenders are available in smooth (ideal for painting) or textured finish.

This in-house developed mounting is made from stainless steel and thus also corrosion free. Our brake lines are 50 mm longer than the original hoses and thus suitable for larger axle travel, e.g. for lifted vehicles. They are sufficient for vehicle lifting kits upt to 90 mm. If you require different lengths, please contact us. These brake lines come with a TUV certificate of approval. In Germany such changes to the brake lines have to be TUV registered for your vehicle. We recommend to check brake fluid level and if necessary a replacement of the brake fluid. The hydraulic system has to be bled after fitting new brake lines. Any work on the braking system should always be carried out by a trained mechanic! Please choose the model year of your Land Rover Defender and whether it has ABS fittedor not: Stainless steel braided brake lines for all Land Rover Defender; 50 mm longer than standard. Unlike PVC, nylon PU (polyurethane) is free of harmful phthalate-based plasticisers. Until recently, low-molecular phthalates were the most common plasticisers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are suspected of acting like endogenous hormones due to their molecular nature. This is highly questionable from a toxicological point of view and is considered to be a trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it is therefore a matter of course to use only ecologically and health-safe alternatives such as nylon PU for the coating of textile products.

Our versatile front light holders for the new Landy are specifically designed to easily mount off-road lights like our Vision-V GEN2 to the front of your L663 – most importantly, without any damage to the beautifully styled radiator grille. The holders are powder-coated in black and can be attached to the front grille in the exact position you require. The perfect fit is achieved by inserting the holder’s four lugs into the grille’s grid and fastening the unit by tightening the screw on the stainless-steel clamping plate. This creates a perfect fit and prevents the lights from moving or scratching the grille. Mounting the holders is a question of minutes and can be done entirely from the outside. The off-road light holders come in pairs.  

Clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4 You can choose between a clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4 up to chassis number 8A999999 and a clutch slave cylinder for Defender TD4 from chassis number 9A000001.ATTENTION: Occasionally, different clutch release bearings may have been fitted by previous owners. If you are not sure which clutch slave cylinder you need for your release bearing, please order the other clutch slave cylinder. You can then test both and return the non-fitting part to us within 4 weeks in its original packaging.

Differential protection for Land Rover Discovery 1 for front and rear differential  Few components on an off-roader are as exposed as the differentials of the front and rear axles. It doesn't take long for costly damage to occur when hitting a stone, which usually cannot be repaired on site and therefore means the end of the journey. What is annoying in the off-road park at home can quickly become dangerous in more remote regions of the world. Seat pad Land Rover Defender Many Landy critics bemoan the seat position in the Defender, the missing elbow room and the spartan original Land Rover seats. But that’s doing a disservice to the furniture from Solihull, especially the improved versions that were introduced in 2007. Even taller drivers, with seat rail extensions installed, can do mile after mile without problems for back and behind. So, if you’re restoring an old Defender or you put too much mileage on yours, it’s worth considering to refurbish the old seats instead of putting brand new ones in. As long as the seat covers are fine and only the foam cores have disintegrated, an upgrade with new seat foams can make a huge difference. This is classic DIY and pretty easy to do with our replacement foams for backrests and seat cushions. Simply remove the whole seat, take the backrest and seat cushion out, remove the covers and rip the old foam off the frame. The new foam cores can be fixed to the frame with standard spray adhesives. Then reverse the process and enjoy your firm new seats. The seat fits all Defender standard outer front seats up to 2016, the backrest for 2007 - 2016. Not suitable for special models.
