Nakatanenga CargoBear - Awning holder for New Defender One of the best moments when car camping or at 4x4 meetings is unfolding the roof awning. Strong window for strong ropes (syntehtic/ plastic) In the module chain from the winch to the hook, winch windows play an important but often underestimated part. Once you have opted for ultra-light but high-strength synthetic mountain equipment, the rope windows are indispensable for safe and comfortable use. But winch window is not the same as winch window: a quality product improves handling and extends the service life of the ropes even more. That's why we now set up our own Nakatanenga winch window made of hard anodized aluminum. Harteloxal is an electrolytically produced outer layer which, in addition to improved wear, corrosion and UV protection, also achieves excellent sliding properties. With these characteristics, the rope window conforms to military standard MIL-A-8625F TYPE III. In addition, our winch window is also significantly lower than many other products on the market. This guarantees a smaller bending angle when the rope is rolled up. This protects the synthetic fibers and ensures that dirt is wiped well before the rope winds on the roll. Shorty - recovery strap for special requirements With a length of 90 cm the special belt is really a SHORTY. The padding and the loops at both ends make it versatile. License plate holder for NAWIBU winch bumper Our heavy duty Nakatanenga winching bumper for classic Defenders is the perfect mounting solution for winches. The entire winching unit stays well protected behind the bumper and the winching cable runs smoothly through the integrated winch window in the middle of the bumper. Normally, this is where the license plate is positioned and that brings us to the problem and our simultaneously elegant and quick solution. Our custom made number plate holder is simply screwed into the fastening holes of the winching window, making it possible to mount the number plate more or less in its usual position. The winch’s functionality is in no way restricted or impeded, of course. The number plate holder is made from aluminum and features a matte black powder coating (RAL9005) which perfectly matches the look of the winching bumper. End piece for warm air hose WALUFLEX Our 60 mm Flexi pipes for parking heaters are the perfect solution for transporting warmth and cosiness from A to B, whereby B can be one of our roof tents, a cold mountain hut or whatever else needs to be heated off-grid. The warm air pipes can be cut to any length and to ensure that the pipe ends are cleanly sealed or can be easily and airtightly extended, we have a silicone adapter for easy ratcheting. The adapter is the icing on the cake for our hot air ducts. It might work without, but it's definitely better with. For one thing, it is safer for people, equipment or cars because the edges, fringes and wire ends of the cut pipe disappear under the silicone cover and therefore have no chance of scratching, pricking or tearing. It is also very practical: one end of the silicone adapter is semi-permanently attached to the cut-off pipe with one of the cable ties supplied. The other end of the adapter can then be tightened to a connection or extension as required using the ratchet clamp (ideal for our parking heaters). Without the ratchet, the silicone adapter, which only makes the pipe 5 mm thicker, is a perfect and aesthetically pleasing end sleeve. After all, the eye camps with you and who wants to look at fraying pipe ends.

Mesh carrying bag for mountain ropes Our robust and easy-to-clean Polyester mesh bag was initially developed by our Nakatanenga textile shop to hold the kinetic tow ropes. The big Kinto rope with 8 m length and 24 mm width fits perfectly into this 60 x 35 cm bag. Apart from the ropes, this mesh bag is absolutely perfect for everything else that comes dirty and dripping: sports shoes and hiking boots, rain gear, training equipment, water sports, you name it.   Using mesh as the primary material for bag, also means much nicer handling in comparison to ordinary closed materials. You can quickly pack wet and dirty ropes and let them drain and dry in the bag. That way, there is no chance for trapped moisture to contribute to any material deterioration and unpleasant moldy smells.   You can also use the mesh itself to grab and handle excessively dirty equipment without having to use your bare hands, if nothing else is available. That comes in especially handy in emergency recoveries on the road, because you’re never as likely to carry all the dirt into your car’s interior.
