Defender door hinge assembly kit, stainless steel (black) The classic Defender’s original door hinges usually become a nuisance sooner or later - they wear out, turn rusty and leave streaks down the paintwork. Our precision-manufactured replacement hinges made of black anodized aluminum provide a permanent remedy, especially in combination with our custom mounting kit. The complete set of screws, nuts, washers and retaining clips is made of stainless steel and is therefore guaranteed to stay rust-free. The fastening materials are specifically made to exactly fit these hinges, thereby preventing contact corrosion between steel and aluminum parts. The screws’ black coloring also ensures a seamless off-road look on your Landy. Please note: The mounting kit does not fit the original Land Rover hinges.  

Self-adhesive anti-slip pads Perforated metal sheets, as used on our CargoBear roof racks, on ladders, steps and other climbing aids on vehicles, are much safer than regular metal surfaces. Additional anti-slip pads, however, offer an unbeatable safety advantage, especially in wet or dirty conditions. The anti-slip pads are designed to perfectly match the hole patterns and due to its black color, they also compliment the overall look of our products. The material for the pads originates in the sports sector and has been widely used on skateboards, for example. For our spare-wheel strap-on step, we offer ready-cut, self-adhesive anti-slip pads measuring 12 x 13.5 cm in twin packs. Since the pads are manufactured with in-house laser cutting technology, we can supply custom formats on request.

Lockable tank cap When fuel prices are high, opportunistic fuel thefts skyrocket and this affects us both at home and when traveling abroad. Furthermore - especially in our cities - SUVs and 4x4s are preferred targets for sabotage and vandalism by supposed climate activists and other thugs. Spare wheel air pressure regulator with matching bag Function stacking is when you try to get by with fewer objects because you assign several functions to them. This is particularly important when you have to take space and weight into account when travelling or on expeditions. A spare wheel, for example, is usually just a spare wheel, but with our spare wheel air pressure regulator, the fifth wheel on the vehicle can also become a practical compressed air reservoir. If you inflate your spare tyre to the permitted maximum, you usually have enough pressure available to adjust the inflation of the tyres mounted on the axle or on the mountain bike or to operate compressed air devices such as our Showertube, for example. As the name suggests, our spare tyre pressure regulator basically functions simply as an adjustable equalising valve.The desired pressure is simply preset on the integrated regulator and the two hoses are attached to the "pressure receiver" and then to the spare wheel (compressed air reservoir). The pressure is then exchanged automatically. The spare wheel pump also has brackets for permanent installation and a robust and easy-to-clean nylon PU-coated bag for storage in the car.

Nakatanenga Spare Wheel Carrier Defender Pickup / Softtop, until MY2016   To preserve the original Defender look and to make room on the inside we adjusted our classic spare wheel carrier for the pic-up version of the defender (Attention: there is a separate version available for the classic hardtop). The carrier is independent from the rear gate, we eliminated any noise and made it from stainless steel. The carrier is thoroughly tested, e.g. on the "Grand Erg" Rally. It was designed to ease the installation while guaranteeing usability and resilience. In 2014 we further improved the design and started manufacturing entirely from stainless steel. The bearing does not require service, the entire carrier is corrosion resistant and can be removed just as easily as installed if needed. This wheel mount is compatible with the additional step and with the hitch from Land Rover, as well as our rear bumpers The carrier can easily be mounted yourself alternatively we also offer an installation service. Simply add the service flat rate to your cart and we'll contact you to confirm your appointment.   The carrier does not swing open by itself, secondary unlocking to the gate is necessary. This full stainless steel spare wheel carrier for Defender SW/HT is the successor to our Defender spare wheel carrier RRHNAHI sold by the hundreds. It is available in two colours. The Defender rear door suffers from the heavy weight of the large spare wheel. Depending on use, after about five years or 50.000 kms the first cracks in the rear door frame appear. There are two solutions for this well-known problem: either move the spare wheel to the bonnet (see our bonnet spare wheel mount for that, not possible for post MY 2007 Defenders) or you fit our rear door spare wheel carrier. It takes off the complete weight from the rear door and opens along with the door. The carrier is fitted to the rear crossmember, a plate is mounted to the existing holes in the door, which is then attached to the carrier with two cranked stainless steel pivots. This carrier has been tested extensively, among others on the "Grand Erg" rallye and combines easy fitting with high toughness and exeptional usability. Available for all Defender models with rear door (Station and Hardtop). Improved design in 2014 and full stainless steel fabrication. The bearing is maintenance free, the complete carrier rustproof and can be completely revised it necessary. It's compatible with Land Rover rear step / bumper with towbar.
