Secure grip on the loading sill – perfectly tailored for the Land Rover New Defender This upgrade for the Land Rover New Defender (L663, from MY2020) is so discreet,  it’s barely noticeable at all. Even so, it has a big impact, especially in damp or wet conditions. With our custom-made anti-slip pads, the rear bumper becomes a safe climbing step to access roof rack or roof load. No more slipping on a greasy bumper or due to muddy boots.   The 24x13cm (each) sized pads for the corners of the bumper have a robust, abrasion-resistant anti-slip coating on top and a self-adhesive strip on the underside. The material originates in the sports equipment sector and has a proven track record in skateboarding, among other things. Universal storage space set for the spare wheel The high school of storage space optimization really only begins when all the obvious places like the interior or trunk or the roof have long since ceased to offer anything. With our practical and universally applicable spare wheel tray, even the fifth wheel on the car becomes an equipment carrier. The practical storage solution for the spare wheel at the rear consists of two components that can be ordered individually (here in the store) or as a set. The base carrier with the tensioning strap is adjustable and thus fits all common off-road tire sizes. If one mounts only the basic carrier (sideways), so e.g. starting aids, wheel chocks and other accessories can be screwed to the carrier or attached with straps. If you want to mount the tray, i.e. the basket, the base carrier must be on top of the wheel. The loading area of the storage basket is a generous 80cm x 38cm, so that even larger equipment can find its place here. If this area is not enough, you can also turn the platform around and attach with the edge down. Raised edges and circumferential lashing holes ensure problem-free load security. Base carrier and storage basket are black powder-coated, so that the look of the spare wheel tray harmonizes perfectly with any off-roader. Base carrier: approx. CargoBear storage rack for Land Rover New Defender L663 The more space you have, the greater the temptation to simply deposit your gear all over the place. With a cargo giant like the new Defender 110 (from MY2020), this will inevitably lead to chaos. That's why we’re putting a bear in the cargo area, a small CargoBear. This additional shelf with its generous dimensions of about 860 x 525 mm takes a load of about 50 kg and is intended for heavier equipment, tools etc. As with the CargoBear roof rack, the cargo shelf is made of robust, powder-coated and perforated aluminum. Raised edges, anti-slip surface and a variety of lashing points make it very easy to ensure one hundred percent load security. By the way, the angled design of the supports leaves approx. 640 mm of loading height under the CargoBear rack. This means that even larger items such as boxes etc. can still be stowed without a problem. When mounting the shelf, all you need to do is fastening it to the existing attachement points of the trunk cover with the original screws. Underside protection, 8mm aluminum, black powder-coated, for Land Rover New Defender from BJ 2020 No 4x4 with serious off-road ambitions can do without underside protection in the front and the engine area. Stones, debris, branches, steep slopes and much more can easily damage the oil pan, mechanical components, radiator, tubes or electrics in rough off-road conditions. Solar panel for bonnet Next generation solar cells are increasingly integrated into structural components. Instead of separate, awkwardly mounted modules on the roof of a house, for example, the roof tiles themselves function as solar panels. Our PV modules for the hoods of 4x4s and vans follow this principle. While they do not yet replace the hood, they are so thin (only 3 mm) and so flexible that they precisely fit the shape of the hood – making them hard to recognize as an extra add-on. In addition, they are also extremely aerodynamic and robust enough to even step on them if needed. The hood modules for Defenders Td5 and Td4, New Defender, Jimny 2, Mercedes G-Class and Sprinter have an output of between 75 and 90 W at 12 V, depending on the model. Your only requirement is sufficient sunlight to generate enough power for the primary and secondary batteries in the car during the day. This in turn enables you to reliably operate all the devices needed in a camper or expedition vehicle: navigation and communication devices, laptop, cooking equipment, refrigerator and much more. Your equipment always remains fully functional and a sufficient charge of the starter battery is also guaranteed. Mounting the PV module and wiring it up to the batteries in the vehicle are equally easy DIY jobs. The included adhesive tape is all you need to attach the panel to the hood while the intelligent charge controller and the adapter allow for plug & play electric installation. Note: as the connection is individual, the power cables may have to be extended.

Side Box for Land Rover New Defender from BJ 2020 With off-road vehicles like the New Defender, exterior cargo space is a great idea. After all, there are many pieces of gear and equipment that need to be quickly accessible but shouldn’t be kept on the inside, because they are either too filthy or they smell of gas, Diesel or other automotive chemicals. A perfect storage place for these things is our side-mounted storage box for the New Landy’s right side.* The side-mounted storage box is made from Plastic and offers a hefty 24 l of volume. It is mounted on the standard roof rail or on our CargoBear roof rack – adapters are included. Its size and the maximum load of 17 kg allow for a huge amount of equipment that can be stored here. Inside the box, there’s a built-in storage mesh for more safety and tidiness. The carrier can be locked and is also watertight, of course. For easier cleaning, there is a plughole with a rubber stopper in the bottom. The side-mounted cargo carrier is designed for maximum aerodynamics and the reduction of wind noise. Its color black compliments every New Defender and if you want to take customization even further, depressions on the lid are the perfect spot to attach one of our Land Rover logos.
