Nakatanenga RSpare wheel retaining plate stainless steel The stainless steel mounting plate is designed for DIY projects. It enables a Land Rover Defender wheel to be mounted on a flat surface, e.g. on a roof rack, a loading area or in the interior. The screw-in bolts/threaded rods have standard threads M16x2. Depending on the version you require, you can choose between indicators for the front or rear, as well as the colours yellow, white and smoky grey. A large white NAS-style version is also available for the rear of the vehicle.   NAS stands for North American Specifications and refers to the version of the Defender that was delivered to the North American market. A distinctive feature of these vehicles is the large, round turn signals with clear or white lenses, behind which, however, yellow (amber) LEDs or a yellow flashing light are visible. This combination creates the typical look of the original NAS Defenders and clearly sets them apart from the European versions with entirely yellow turn signal lenses.   The LED indicator lights provide a modern look and highly visible illumination. POWERslave for Td5 Discovery and Defender Heavy clutches with high pedal weight are a known phenomenon especially in Td5 Defenders (1998-2006) but also in many Td5 Discovery models (1998-2004).  But there’s a simple and cost-effective solution for anyone experiencing problems with the heavy pedal. Installing a POWERslave slave cylinder will reduce the pedal weight by up to 30% in comparison to the original set-up. Please note: the POWERslave cylinder lowers the biting point of the clutch. On Defenders, the biting point can be adjusted in the pedal box. On Discovery 2 models, where the pedal box is not adjustable, we recommend installing the slave cylinder only after the clutch is worn in after a few thousand miles. LOF does not recommend the installation: for newly installed clutches in combination with the LOF Power master cylinder

Off-road vehicles are not designed for aerodynamically perfect airflow. So far, so obvious and normally it doesn’t matter anyway because in a 4x4 you’re unlikely to reach the speeds where it becomes problematic. But there is one aspect where the rustic box shape of Jimny II does show the effects of aerodynamic neglect and that’s the nearly rectangular shape and the straight and vertical positioning of the windows. There’s more than one reason in a 4x4 to crack your windows a little, whether you’re off-roading or it’s cold and wet. Your classic Defender’s to MY 2016 windows for instance are misting up because the ventilation famously isn’t up to the job of defogging them. And that’s when you see the effect we’ve talked about in the beginning. The drag around the cracked windows is not only loud, it also pulls more dust and water inwards and that’s pretty annoying, even for hardcore off-roaders. Greasable track rod ends for all Land Rover Defender Greasable track rod ends for original track rod of Land Rover Defender 90/110/130.  The set comprises three track rod ends, two with right-hand thread and one with left-hand thread, which can be greased with a grease gun.
