We have packed even more technology, even more experience and even more customer feedback into our new mobile heating boxes. If you are looking for a small, self-sufficient and portable heat source with unrivaled capacity for cold days and nights in unheated outdoor shelters or temporary accommodation, you get everything you need (or want) in a small, weatherproof aluminum box. Available in three modular versions with different configurations, the Nakatanenga heating box provides the perfect, independent heat source for tents, gazebos, garden sheds, mountain huts, snack stands, stalls and much more. The heart of the mobile parking heater is the Autoterm Luft 2D, a diesel-powered air heater with a maximum heat output of 1.8 kW and a diesel consumption of just under a quarter of a liter per hour at full power. With a tank capacity of 18 liters in the twin-tank version, this means that it can heat at full throttle for over 70 hours. The economical unit, which is also very quiet at 55 dB thanks to the exhaust silencer, is controlled by a digital control unit with timer in the version with two batteries and can also be switched on and off by radio remote control. This allows you to preheat your camper, roof tent, caravan or hunting lodge in good time for getting up or for the evening, for example, and operate it from the place where you are staying or sleeping inside*. In contrast to the previous models, the three versions of our mobile parking heater are now only available in one box size, namely 42 liters. This is significantly more compact than the old version in the large version and only slightly more voluminous than the small model from before. What is the advantage? The new universal crate has a modular interior with a powerful performance. Depending on whether you need tanks, batteries or both in the box, you can choose the appropriate version when purchasing: with 9.2 L single or 18.4 L double tank, each without battery, as well as with single tank, two batteries and digital control. However, it can also be easily retrofitted or converted if requirements change. This is made possible by elaborately designed brackets in the box and the use of specially manufactured, made-to-measure tanks. LiFePo4 batteries - i.e. batteries with a lithium iron phosphate cathode - are the ideal supply batteries for camping or electrical work on the move. In contrast to conventional lead-acid AGM technology, lithium batteries combine superior charging properties with much lower weight and volume and a long service life. LiFePo4 batteries can be deep-discharged without any problems, which sooner or later leads to irreparable damage with AGM batteries, as the rule of thumb here is that you should never draw more than 50% charge. If you are not dependent on the greater cold tolerance of AGM batteries, you should definitely consider the higher costs for LiFePo4 batteries and compatible charging technology. The weight and space savings, the long service life and the uncomplicated discharging and charging of the battery are strong arguments in favor of the investment. What's more, LiFePo4 technology is also extremely safe And a special note on aluminum: Although we take the utmost care during storage and shipping, as with all our products, aluminum boxes can always show minimal scratches, stains, dents or other surface features upon delivery. These are material-related and result from the specific properties of the light metal. In contact with oxygen, aluminum forms a natural, corrosion-protecting patina and is also relatively soft compared to steel, which is three times heavier. This makes the material ideal for use in sheet metal, especially when weight and resistance are important. On the other hand, however, it also means that aluminum can never be completely free of patina or other marks, even on delivery: Small scratches, stains etc. therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint. Ultimately, aluminum boxes are intended to be robust objects of daily use. Like everything that is actively used, they develop an individual patina and every trace of use tells a story. So, have fun with it! If you want to heat the interior of your vehicle, we offer an installation service for warm air ducting through a ventilation plate. Please note the variants without batteries: Most portable power stations or battery boxes (such as Goal Zero, Eco Flow, Bluetti etc.) are unfortunately not suitable for operating mobile parking heaters. Warm shower kit 2.0 - Autoterm parking heater + combiBOIL with Comfort Boiler Control The original from tigerexped - but now even better! The Warm Shower Kit is the simple way to equip touring vehicles or boats & yachts with a hot air heater and hot water at the same time. In contrast to technically complex combination devices, the kit consisting of two individual devices is less expensive and, above all, less prone to complete failure. And if necessary, it can even be repaired while traveling. The strength of the Warmduscher kit is that it is simple and the two main elements (heater and boiler) function separately. Defects in one component do not automatically affect the other. A defect in the boiler is unlikely due to the high quality of materials and workmanship with high pressure resistance - however, should damage occur for whatever reason, the heater will continue to run completely unimpressed and that is a good thing. Because not being able to take a hot shower is one thing - spending the night in a completely chilled vehicle at perhaps -20 degrees is another. The Warm Shower Kit 2.0 is therefore a system that is simple to set up and easy to install. It is therefore perfect for DIY enthusiasts, but of course also for professional manufacturers who want to offer their customers a low-maintenance, trouble-free solution for their trips. How does the Warm Shower Kit 2.0 work:The Warm Shower Kit 2.0 can generate hot water in three different ways: Via an electric heating element, which means via electricity if you have just enough reserves, or are connected to shore power.Simply on the side when the heating is running - without consuming any additional energy. Hot water is the "waste product", so to speak.NEW: The boiler can be integrated into the engine's cooling water circuit to heat either the service water itself or a second water loop. Conversely, the engine can also be preheated to make starting more gentle (not suitable for use in arctic temperature ranges).Each of these three options has its advantages and can be used when it suits best. After a few days of self-sufficient camping in hot weather, for example, you don't want to leave the heating on, nor do you want to heat up the water from driving. However, if it is too warm for the heating, there is probably enough solar power in the batteries to generate hot water via the electric heating element. With the combination of three options, this kit always offers the one that fits perfectly in every situation. The options for integration into the cooling water circuit are as follows: Cooling water circuit heats the service water, i.e. the cooling water circuit is connected to the boiler and heats service water for showers etc. while driving. (Caution: As the temperature of the cooling water can rise above 100°C (due to pressure), the boiler must be prevented from overheating by means of a valve or by switching off the circulation pump).The boiler preheats the cooling water circuit (engine), which means that the above function is reversed. The engine cooling circuit can be preheated by connecting the boiler to a 230V/110V power source or by using hot air from the parking heater.Heating a second water loop, whereby the energy that is fed into the boiler via the electric heating element or hot air is fed into a second water circuit via a circulation pump. It is also possible to combine the two water circuits (so that the cooling water circuit heats the second water loop), although precautions must be taken with regard to the flow temperature from the motor. For example, underfloor heating or towel radiators can be implemented to make it easier to dry wet clothes and towels in the vehicle. For car campers and roof tent enthusiasts, roof loads are often a (ge)important issue. If you take it lightly, you risk roof damage. But away from the play on words and towards the bare figures, because the trend is clear: the average dynamic roof loads of vehicles are falling. While the G-Class with 200 kg and the new Defender with up to 168 kg are still solid values, things go downhill pretty quickly after that. Even a new Land Cruiser J150 Prado only manages 80 kilos, and in the normal passenger car segment the average is closer to 60 kilos, with a downward trend. In addition to changes in vehicle statics due to lightweight construction and electrification, the increased use of sensors and assistance systems is probably responsible for this. And even if the values for a stationary vehicle are of course considerably higher, the critical range for commercially available roof tents is approaching. Compared to the 320 g/m2 on our Evolution 2, this is a reduction of a whopping 78%. The fabric of the tent skin and the sun awning of the Lightweight are identical, PU-coated on the inside and impregnated on the outside. This means that no compromises are made in terms of wind and rain protection. How can weight be saved on the roof when travelling with the roof tent? Further weight can be saved on the Roof Lodge Lightweight by choosing the mattresses. As an alternative to our one-piece standard foam mattress (60 mm, approx. 5 kg) and the optional 3D mesh mattress (approx. 3.5 kg), we also offer a self-inflating Kampa mattress with a thickness of 10 cm and a weight of approx. 5.5 kg. As you would expect from real Vikings, Danish Aluboxes are seawater resistant. In addition, they can be padlocked, are dust-proof and highly resistant to corrosion and chemicals. The Wibergs’ experience and their commitment to continuously improve the Aluboxes show in the details: extra-robust and impact-proof stacking corners provide tight connections when you put several boxes on top of each other. Moreover, our foldable side table offers not only one but two surfaces, like a small shelf. While you’re running a gas stove on top, for example, you can use the lower shelf to prepare your food items, away from dust and dirt. The double table is robust, portable and folds away nicely. When you need it you simply attach it to the stainless steel fittings included in the kit. Removal is just as easy. The fittings can be mounted on the side of your vehicle or the rear door. The Roof Lodge Evolution awning ... which can also be used on many roof tents from other manufacturers. The widespread term <awning> is somewhat misleading in itself, as it has always been more of a hanging tent in which you can quickly and easily store camping equipment such as a table and chairs, the little ones' toys and a pint of beer. This not only applies to tidying up in the evening, but also in the event of a downpour. What's more, the fact that these items are no longer immediately visible makes them a little safer from theft. We also like to refer to this awning simply as a <shower curtain>. This name also gives you an idea of the actual size of the hanging tents. This is always 120 cm in depth and 140 cm or 165 cm depending on the tent width. This makes them significantly larger than most showers, but still smaller than what many people imagine. However, if the roof tent is installed at a sufficient height, you have a space that can also be used comfortably for changing. These awnings were and are less suitable for use in bad weather. This results in a requirement profile for them that is completely different from that of the floor tents of the extended tents. As the awning's tent character is clearly in the background, we have given it some thought and completely redesigned it according to its use. They are now made from the same material that we already use for our LIGHTWEIGHT - T109 ripstop nylon with Oxford weave. This material is surprisingly strong for its surprisingly low weight of just 102 g/m² and is the obvious choice for use in an awning. As awnings, like ground tents, usually have to be transported in the vehicle, the pack size is not insignificant. The fact that the usual voluminous and heavy PVC groundsheet has been replaced by a thin and light tarpaulin means that the pack size of the awning can almost be described as tiny. Due to the type of use, elaborate window constructions are as pointless as spikes for ballerinas - nobody uses them. Of course, windows do have a right to exist in hanging tents; after all, you can not only see outside through them, they also let light into the tent. But this is where the T109 ripstop nylon comes into play again: this material has good light permeability, which puts the question of windows to rest once and for all. The entrance is usually located behind the ladder, which literally stands in the way of quickly stowing away the equipment. That's why we decided not to have an entrance. Some people will now say that Nakatanenga have definitely overshot the mark. But we simply questioned the design of the usual entrances with the entrance fabric, mosquito net and zippers and found that they were not necessary. Our awning therefore doesn't have an ENTRANCE, but of course there is an ACCESS - in fact several. The awning is fitted with zippers at all 4 corners. These can be used to separate the side walls from each other and thus not only determine the access as desired. You can also roll up one or all of the side walls. In the evening, for example, all you need to do is place the table and chairs on the tarpaulin, unroll the side walls and close the zippers. And the awning also offers real added value: the side tent walls also have two eyelets on the underside. The side walls can either be tensioned at an angle or extended using optional telescopic poles. This creates a rain-protected or shaded area of just under 5.5 by 1.2 meters. The awnings are suitable for all roof tents of the appropriate size that use the edge profiles shown on the Roof Lodge Evolution and LIGHTWEIGHT information pages. Roof Lodge annex small, for roof tents Basic 2nd version Annex for Roof Lodge Basic roof tents, made of hard-wearing, PU-coated RipStop nylon, available in various widths and colours.The annex is easily and quickly attached to the keder rail, providing additional wind, rain, privacy and mosquito protection. It is made of the same material as the roof tent itself: PU coated nylon with 600den.The side sections can now not only be rolled up, they can also be displayed as canopies with the optionally available telescopic poles.We offer the annex in three colour variations: Reed green (approx. RAL 6013), sand colour (approx. RAL 1002) and oxide red. It is also available in two widths - suitable for our 140 cm and 165 cm roof tents.
