Dotz 4x4 designed this rim to be hardwearing and robust above everything else. Whenever the Dakar is released for a new vehicle, you can be sure it has undergone the most rigorous testing regime, giving you the highest quality and extreme durability. The Dotz Dakar is quickly cleaned by hand or pressure washer and due to its special finish it will be very easy on the eye for a long time – something that can’t be said of many steel rims. We are introducing the Dakar’s off-road performance and its classic look now also for the Jimny II GJ HJ and offer the rim in two sizes: as 7x16 inch or 6x15 inch with an offset of 0 mil. Differential lock mounting kit for the Land Rover Defender - Precise retrofitting made easy To facilitate the installation of the standard differential locks (Detroit Truetrac / Detroit Locker / KAM Locker) in the Rover and P38 axles of the Defender, we have put together an installation kit which contains all the necessary materials. It is NOT suitable for the Salisbury axle! Comes with: 2 bearings RTC3095OE 3 litres of hypoid gear oil GL5 Petec silicone sealant thread sealant, intermediate strength This kit does not substitute the necessary technical expertise and accuracy when fitting a diff locker. If you don't feel up to the job, please have a specialised garage do the fitting as otherwise expensive damage to both locker and axle might ensue. After re-filling the diffs there will remain a rest of about 1/2 liter. This can be used for topping up the axles at a later time or to top up the LT230 transmission gearbox.

Studs (Ø 9mm) for winter tyres If you have already planned a holiday abroad and regularly travel through snow, forest, rain or cold areas, these tyre studs are the perfect travel companions. The studs can be fitted not only to tyres with existing stud holes, but also to other winter tyres. This is because the studs, thanks to their worm-shaped screw thread, can be easily attached and removed with the appropriate mounting tool and a standard cordless screwdriver, without leaving large visible tyre studs. You can decide for yourself how many spikes to put in the tyre and increase or decrease the number at any time afterwards if necessary. A spike can be conveniently removed from the anchorage and screwed back in later. Note: Tyre spikes are prohibited in Germany. Repair panel rear sump for Defender 110 Td4, Td5 and Tdi Rust thrives best when it is hidden, especially when corners, angles or edges favour the constant accumulation of water and damp dirt. This is why Defender 110 Station Wagons often have hidden rust spots under the rear seat bench mount or on the frame holder. To avoid having to replace the entire base plate of the rear tub in the event of advanced contact corrosion, we now offer an exclusive, easy-to-fit repair kit for the particularly susceptible area under the seat bench. The kit consists of the main plate, two side parts and sufficient rivets. For installation (see pictures), the existing welding points on the rear tub are first drilled out. The sheet metal is then simply positioned accordingly, glued in place with body sealant and fixed at the sides with clamps. Once dry, drill the sheet metal at the pre-drilled welding points and insert the rivets. The two side panels are then attached in the same way. Repair kit for Land Rover Defender TD4 2.4 and TD5 glow plug connectors
Glow plug connector Land Rover Defender If the diesel has difficulty getting going when starting from cold, and if it nails and smokes particularly badly, this is often due to the glow plugs. Before replacing the plugs, however, you should first check the condition of the cables and plugs. Often, the problem is simply that cables and plugs are exposed through porous plastic sheathing and the electrical contacts are suffering. As a rule, the service life of the plugs far exceeds that of the cable and plug connections, because cables and plugs and their insulation are naturally much more exposed to mechanical and weather-related influences. With our glow plug connector repair kits, Defender with Td5 and Td4 2.4l engines can be very easily retrofitted in case of problems with cables or connectors. This is also recommended if the glow plug set is being replaced anyway. The advantage of the repair kit is that the next time a problem occurs, it is not necessary to replace the entire wiring harness at great expense; instead, it is sufficient to replace the plug and cable up to the crimp connection.
