Cyclone filter with pre-separator A cyclone filter or pre-separator is ideal as a pre-filter for off-road applications, as it relieves the actual air filter by removing dust and liquids. This upgrades the entire filter system. The better the efficiency of the cyclone pre-separator, the longer the filter service life and the less frequently the filter element needs to be changed. So nothing stands in the way of an extensive journey through a mountain, forest, arid or even desert landscape. Easy emptying of the pre-separator is guaranteed by the locking clip. There is also a marker for the maximum fill level so that the filter can be emptied or serviced in good time. The cyclone filter protects against the ingress of splash water or rain. Anyone who goes on a long trip knows the satisfying feeling of having everything packed away safely yet within easy reach. At the same time, however, there is always that nagging feeling in the back of your mind. This or that item takes up unnecessary space or has to be secured in a cumbersome way. Couldn't it be better? Don't worry, it can be better. At least when it comes to our fuel canisters made of sturdy plastic. The 5 and 10 liter gasoline or diesel containers are stackable—even when mixing sizes—and therefore extremely space-saving. Whether in an off-roader, boat, or camp, the interlocking molded side walls ensure that the canisters fit together and cannot slip. The round recesses in the middle (one for 5 L, two for 10 L) are designed to secure the containers in a rack or with a strap. This makes it easier to secure the canisters in a block and guarantees optimum load security even when the vehicle is in the most unstable position off-road. The red Adventure Tanks for fuel come with a flexible screw-on spout. Incidentally, the canisters are also available in gray for drinking water. Effective help with power loss: vacuum can as a spare part If you’re experiencing performance problems with the turbo, the problem can be as simple as a faulty, leaky or seized actuator. The actuator is pneumatically regulated, purely mechanical and is designed to open the wastegate in the turbo charger. At high load, a good part of the hot exhaust gases are thus diverted directly into the exhaust system without propelling the turbo beyond its own safety limits and the critical boost pressure for the engine. Generally speaking, if your turbo stops working correctly, Land Rover will only supply the entire turbo assembly. But if the fault lies only with the actuator, you can order the module as a separate replacement part from us. In many cases, that can solve your problem without having to resort to buying a complete turbo assembly. Installing the new actuator in the Td5’s turbo is fairly easy. Simply screw it onto the bracket and attach both the actuator arm to the wastegate mechanism and the pressure hose to the actuator. Assuming your adjustment screw on the old actuator was in the correct position, simply set the new actuator’s arm to the same length to achieve the correct settings.

POWERslave for Td5 Discovery and Defender Heavy clutches with high pedal weight are a known phenomenon especially in Td5 Defenders (1998-2006) but also in many Td5 Discovery models (1998-2004). But there’s a simple and cost-effective solution for anyone experiencing problems with the heavy pedal. Installing a POWERslave slave cylinder will reduce the pedal weight by up to 30% in comparison to the original set-up. Please note: the POWERslave cylinder lowers the biting point of the clutch. On Defenders, the biting point can be adjusted in the pedal box. On Discovery 2 models, where the pedal box is not adjustable, we recommend installing the slave cylinder only after the clutch is worn in after a few thousand miles. LOF does not recommend the installation: for newly installed clutches in combination with the LOF Power master cylinder

Greasable track rod ends for all Land Rover Defender Greasable track rod ends for original track rod of Land Rover Defender 90/110/130. The set comprises three track rod ends, two with right-hand thread and one with left-hand thread, which can be greased with a grease gun. In contrast to the non-greasable OEM track rod ends, these suffer from much less wear and thus last much longer.

Repair kit shift linkage / transfer case The transfer box on a Defender not only transmits the power from the engine two both axles, it also houses the middle diff lock as well as the reduction gearbox. The linkage connecting the transfer box to the low ratio/diff lock stick is naturally prone to heavy wear and tear. The repair kits give you the option to completely replace all worn bushes, bolts and the hexagon screw in the linkage. Nut, washers and SL retaining clips for the bolts are all included.
