Tool roll wash small toiletry bag Our Nakatanenga Bear loves to scrub up and keeps everything neat, tidy and protected. That’s why we are introducing our own hanging wash bag with the bear logo on it, for travel, outdoor and camping. Everything else out there hasn’t really done it for us, so we made some key improvements to the most important details and put them all in one cool roll! Advantage #1 for our Nakatanenga toiletry bag: lots of mesh! We’re using great amounts of mesh material especially in the interior zip bag area, so that the wash roll can dry off quickly after you’ve been to a tiny wet room. If your shampoo or deodorant has leaked again, you can quickly rinse the mesh in a sink or basin. The wash bags exterior is Nylon PU-coated and therefore extremely robust, easy to clean and water resistant. Advantage #2: our firm G-hook! Even brand wash bags often sport these cheap round hooks that come off with the slightest movement or push. As a result, your personal hygiene items are too often scattered on less than appealing bathroom floors. Our G-hook closes the rolled-up wash bag tightly and you can also use it to hang the bag securely in windy or cramped places. We also enclose a hooked suction cup to firmly fix the bag to smooth surfaces like tiles or glass. Advantage #3: Roll it up! Roll beats bag, anytime, even when it comes to wash bags. Rolling up your gear minimizes the required storage space and holds everything tightly in place, thereby preventing damage to the bag or your hygiene articles by pointy or sharp objects within. That’s why our mobile Diesel heaters are so great. Everything you need in one box! With one exception, though: the WALUFLEX pipe for warm air transport from the heater is too big for that. But that doesn’t mean you have to pack the tubing in plastic bags or carry it as it is. Our textile workshop has now come up with a dedicated storage bag with carrying straps especially for the WALUFLEX pipe. Made from robust and easy-to-clean 1000D Nylon material, the pack bag stores and protects the warm air tube. Moreover, it also saves a lot of valuable pack space. Tubes of up to 3 m length can be secured in the bag with two separate straps. Zip it up, job done! By the way, we have also sewn a patch of MOLLE fleece onto the front of the bag. Socket nut holder How can you improve our ingenious Tool Rolls when it comes to making them more compact, more functional and even quicker to access? By adding one or two of our ½“ and ¼“ organizers for socket wrench sets, of course. It’s really easy, attach the socket organizer’s Velcro strap to the Tool Roll’s fleece, push the sockets onto the studded clips and roll the whole thing up. There you go, that’s order and organization for you. No more fumbling around in oily pouches or cluttered boxes to find the right sockets. The high-quality holders feature 8 studs each for half or quarter inch sockets. The smaller Tool Roll S fits one organizer, the medium M will fit two across. The studded brackets holding the sockets sport metal ball bearings, just like a quality ratchet, thereby guaranteeing a firm and secure grip during storage and transport. Additionally, the individual brackets can be shifted (or removed entirely) to accommodate different socket sizes. Inside the Tool Roll, the organizer is held in place by a robust Velcro strip made from sturdy Nylon and strengthened by a plastic plate. The organizer rail in turn is attached to the Velcro strip by two elastic straps. That way you can easily take out the organizer rail or swap it for another one, without compromising the exact positioning within the Tool Roll. Our cargo mesh for the Suzuki Jimny II (from MY2018) will generate a lot of storage room in a place that’s rarely used: under the roof in the cargo bay.To attach the 93 x 60 cm netting to the roof trim, all you need to do is mount two aluminum frame elements in the front and the back. They are the same color as the mesh for a seamless look. The elastic cargo mesh can then be attached to the frame and the interior grab handles with 12 adjustable straps. Always with a leash There are basically two ways of managing our hectic day-to-day lives: one is to always think of everything before you go out or when plans change: keys, phone, wallet and all the other stuff. The other far better solution is to have backups handy, in case you do forget – as you will. Our “Always-on-you” dog lead belongs in the second category. It is so small, light (and affordable), that it’s probably best to own several of them and always have one handy wherever they’re needed, in your car, handbag or coat pocket. That way, you always have a leash with you when you’re out and about with your dog. The lead is 1.6 m long and is made from extremely strong polyamide fabric (max. pull force 315 kg). It is 100% Made in Germany, and as always with products from our own textile workshop, we take care that the highest quality workmanship is applied in manufacturing – in this case, the leash is even made to military spec TL8470-0071. The aluminum karabiner, with its firm snap gate and the 360°- swivel is firmly sewn into the strap. Leash and karabiner hook combined are smaller than a packet of tissues and not much heavier. A multipurpose receptacle is definitely one of them: for storage, washing or simply to keep things clean and away from dirt and dust. Our folding bowl made from 100% Nylon is just made for that. It is much lighter than solid plastic or aluminum bowls and requires much less storing space in your backpack or on your person. It simply folds up into a small roll and is neatly held together by a sturdy strap that is sewn onto the outside. The interior PU-coating makes the folding bowl absolutely watertight and also allows for easy cleaning. D-rings, straps and loops attached to the sides can be used to hang the bowl from lines, hooks or branches to dry it out or to store food items away from ground dwelling insects. And since our short Nakasox are flying off the shelves, we’re immediately following them with higher crew socks. Off-roaders, outdoor types and people who still do an honest day’s work prefer boots. They appreciate the stability around the ankle and the protection when romping around in the field. But that comes with a price because wearing a boot requires a crew sock. If you don’t want to experience subsequent hot flashes and puddles of sweat when wearing boots in the summer, we recommend our lightweight, high shaft Merino crew socks for comfort and good stability. Merino is the perfect base layer for our socks because the supersheep’s fleece is nature’s air conditioning. It warms in the cold but also cools in hot weather and that’s due to the micro structure of the ultra-fine curly fibers in the fleece. They absorb high amounts of moisture and release it quickly back into the air. Effective condensation thus cools your skin and leaves you with a pleasant feeling when wearing the socks. The experience of comfort and wellbeing is still increased by the fact that Merino wool doesn’t itch and that it smells less (and later) than other materials due to the fiber’s antibacterial properties. If you’re looking for seat covers for the New Defender – the front seats to be precise – look no further than our seat protectors made from durable, and easy-to-clean 1000D Nylon 6.6. The seat covers were developed by us in our own tailor's workshop – guaranteeing highest functionality and best workmanship. To ensure maximum comfort and compatibility with the climate technologies in your seats, the covers feature breathable mesh fabric on the actual sitting surface. And even though it is mesh, it will still protect the seat from dirt and moisture. To achieve a perfect fit, the one-piece cover is tightly tailored and does not require zippers or similar. Simply pull it over the seat, Velcro the top part underneath the headrest and close the sturdy straps and buckles on the underside. Additionally, a mesh pocket with a rubber foam piece inside is wedged into the gap between backrest and seat surface to prevent the cover from sliding. Bag for sand sheets Sand ladders, traction boards, foldable ramps or waffleboards – the range of recovery tracks for 4x4s these days is extremely specialized when it comes to different types of use, materials or surface conditions. No matter which kind of board you’re going for, though, there’s always two questions to keep in mind, whether your tracks are made from metal, synthetics or rubber: For one, where are you keeping them, before and after deployment or in seasonal storage? And two, how do you keep your vehicle clean, if you chose to transport the tracks inside the trunk or cargo hold instead of an outside mount? Our Nakatanenga board bags will conclusively solve both issues. Whether it’s our own Maximum Traction boards, GFK Waffle Boards, aluminum sand ladders or any other product from MAXTRAX, TREDS, HEBE etc., the bag will fit any recovery board up to a maximum size of 1200 x 340 mm. With its depth of 130 mm at the sides, the bag is specifically designed for synthetic boards and their greater thickness when compared to classic metal sand ladders. However, the wide cut of the bag allows for a stack of boards of up to 180 mm in total. Inside the bag, we have sewn-in two adjustable straps with quick-release buckles to secure stacks of boards and prevent any sliding or shifting. Not an SUV for transporting the kiddies to riding school, but a real off-roader with a Twingo-like footprint of just 3.65 x 1.65 metres. Since the Jimny is a traditional workhorse with limited interior space, every cubic centimetre of free space counts. Off-the-shelf seat covers can't do this, they slip, overhang, get stuck or snag on moving parts. Swiss Pioneer Pick with Bag It’s not only watches and pocket knives that the Swiss do really, really well, they also know a thing or two about cruder tools. This pickaxe for example is used by the Swiss army engineer corps and it’s both extremely well-made and versatile. This is where the impeccably modern cockpit by design director Gerry McGovern and colleagues pays homage to the interior of the classic Defender, the original Landy. Good for us, because we immediately spotted an opportunity to improve storage capabilities: with our nifty dashboard bag for the New Defender. The open dashboard shelf is where you put all the odds and ends in your car. It was like that in the old Landy, it will probably be the same in the new one. But once you’re testing the L663’s tilt angle or maximum gradient, our new dashboard bag, made from easy-to-clean, robust nylon, will keep your stuff from actually flying around. Installing the bag firmly in the dash takes only a few minutes. The zipper has two sliders so that the bag can be opened and shut from both sides. Produced after out own design, right here in europe, this kit is velcroed to its base-plate which can be atttched to our tailgate organizer (molle) or any other flat surface, for example. This allows for easy access, but a snug fit thanks to the additional strap securing it to the base-plate. The bag messures about 28x23x13 cm, while the base comes in at about 25x20 cm.
