Today’s average drivers would probably shake their heads in disapproval, but Landy enthusiasts will cherish the excentricity and immediately set their minds to fixing the design’s obvious short-comings with a little Defender hack. For a long time, we had been able to offer one of those nifty little fixes under the product name Defendoor, made by a Czech company.Sadly, both the company and their fabulous product are no longer in existence, but since we still register a lot of demand for fueling cavity covers, we got together with Defender specialists TREKFINDER and breathed new life into the idea.The cover is as simple as it is effective when it comes to keeping out water, snow, ice, salt, spray, mud and dust. It will also add to the rugged good looks of your Defender. Made from sturdy but slightly flexible high-quality synthetics, it is kept in position by a groove running around the sides. There is no need for screws or rivets or moving parts to hold it securely in place. When fueling, simply press the cover in and remove it from the fueling cavity. Performance is one thing and, as is well known, there is no mistaking the polyurethane coatings from RAPTOR: Long-lasting UV and rust protection and high resistance to chemicals of all kinds are guaranteed - provided they are used properly. But the RAPTOR look is of course not entirely unimportant. In addition to various textures from smooth to rough, extremely cool color combinations can also be achieved very easily. Our selection of original RAPTOR COLORS is specially tailored to the RAPTOR multi-purpose coating. There are no surprises or trial and error when mixing, using or with the result. The whole work process runs with the usual RAPTOR precision and the typically simple handling: Simply put the contents of a 45ml bag in the 1L bottle of coating, then add the hardener, shake for two minutes and get started. Detailed instructions on how to achieve different textures when spraying are included. Of course, as with any painting job, a color test is recommended. Available in the colors Beige, Light Brown, Sepia Brown, Green, Light Green, Pine Green, Orange and Olive.
