But if your 4x4 is a New Defender, would you really want to see a worn and scratched rear bumper? Immediate and long-lasting prevention of wear marks on your New Defender’s rear bumper can be achieved with our designated paint protection film. This high-performance product by industry leader 3M protects your New Defender’s rear bumper from scratches and abrasion even when your loading area is constantly in use for work or sports. And don’t forget the damage a dog’s claws can do to the paint when you carry them regularly in a dog box in the back. Due to its multi-layer structure, the 3M wrap also protects the bumper from chipping caused by the impact of small stones or dropped objects. Installing the paint protection film is really easy. Everything you need is included: cleaning cloth, adhesion promoter wipe, squeegee and detailed instructions. If you’ve never done this before: don’t worry. The protective wrap can be positioned exactly as you need it, but if you have to readjust the position a few millimeters that’s no problem either. Simply slide the film into place. It only starts to adhere once you apply pressure with the squeegee. The protective wrap is available in black, matt black, anthracite grey or silver, making it a perfect visual match for any New Defender color scheme. Instructions for wet application: Fill a spray bottle with water and 1–2 drops of washing-up liquid (or mounting/application solution). Remove coarse dirt from the loading sill with a damp cloth and then clean thoroughly with the enclosed cleaning cloth – the surface must be clean and dust-free. Spray the loading sill evenly. Remove the protective film from the film and also spray the adhesive side lightly (so that it does not stick immediately). Apply the film and align it carefully. The moisture allows it to be moved around. Squeegee out the water, working from the centre outwards. Apply even pressure to remove the water and air bubbles. Remove any excess liquid with a cloth. The film is fixed after squeegeeing, but only reaches its final adhesion after 24–48 hours.   During this time: Do not wash, do not use a high-pressure cleaner. Keep as dry as possible and avoid mechanical stress.

This means that the safe working load (WLL) with a safety factor of 3 is around 2.65–4 tonnes.With an elongation of 30–35%, the rope enables material-friendly recovery – ideally by slowly and evenly approaching the elongation range. The safe operating range is between -70 °C and +99 °C, which far exceeds that of conventional ropes.Thanks to a robust urethane polymer coating, the KINTO rope is water, UV and abrasion resistant. Nevertheless, worn or overstretched ropes lose a significant amount of their load-bearing capacity. Nakatanenga dual battery system complete set for Land Rover Defender (without batteries) The Nakatanenga dual battery system for Land Rover Defender 90/110/130 provides the ideal basis for a powerful and reliable on-board power supply. It enables high battery capacities, safe and convenient control and maximum operational reliability – perfect for winch operation, camping equipment or extensive additional consumers. The starter battery remains protected at all times, ensuring that the vehicle remains reliably ready to start.   The battery carrier is mounted under the driver's seat and is designed to hold two batteries, each measuring up to approx. 315x175x190mm (batteries NOT included). The design is vibration-resistant and designed so that the seat box, including the locking mechanism and existing attachments or add-ons, are not affected.   The isolating relay is mounted directly on the battery carrier. This ensures automatic separation of the starter and consumer batteries and allows both batteries to be connected together as required. Both batteries are charged while driving, and only the consumer battery is used when stationary. This means that the starter battery is always fully operational – a decisive advantage at low temperatures or during long periods of inactivity. At the touch of a button, both batteries can be interconnected to provide very high currents for a short period of time, for example during intensive winch operation.   Depending on the model, a control unit with battery monitor for installation in the dashboard is included. This allows the driver to conveniently monitor and control the entire system within their direct field of vision. The set also includes all necessary cables, small parts and installation materials. The heavy-duty cable set consists of high-quality 35 mm² copper cables with professionally crimped cable lugs and battery terminals. The built-in Cyrix isolator relay is particularly user-friendly and reliable. It is possible to upgrade with a separate battery monitor at a later date, but this is more expensive than choosing a complete system from the outset.   We recommend not installing a total charging capacity of more than 160Ah, as a higher capacity cannot be covered by the alternator. Furthermore, we recommend using only two batteries of the same type (e.g. lead-acid or AGM), the same capacity (Ah) and, as far as possible, identical condition in terms of age, charge cycles and previous use. The use of different battery types, capacities or batteries of different ages leads to deviating electrical characteristics (internal resistance, charging and discharging behaviour) and is very likely to result in overload, malfunction or permanent damage to the batteries and/or the battery control or battery management system. Many people immediately replace the entire ignition switch, but if the ignition switch's turning mechanism is still working properly, it is much cheaper to replace the ignition switch located at the rear of the ignition switch. In this case, this item is the ideal replacement or repair part.

Nakatanenga lamp bracket for Land Rover Defender (without headlights) - high Version + 35 mm The Nakatanenga lamp bracket is the answer to customer requests for a flat mounting solution for lamps on the Land Rover Defender, which does not increase the overall height of the vehicle (when the lamps are mounted suspended) - this means that, for example, the use of an underground garage / driveway is still possible without having to do without adequate lighting. The one-piece bracket is made entirely of stainless steel and powder-coated in black. It offers four mounting eyes for individual spotlights or the feet of one or two LED bars. It also has an additional mounting eyelet in the centre (facing backwards) that can be used for a GPS or radio antenna. The support tube has openings so that the connecting cables of the headlamps (not supplied) can be neatly routed inside it. Eyelets for attaching cable ties round off the well thought-out details. This is the tall version, which is 35 mm taller than NALB-DEF-PB.

Charging cable adapter: CTEK plug/socket to SAE If you are using CTEK-chargers or various peripherals with CTEK-connectors, we can recommend our SAE-to-CTEK adapter cables. You have a choice of SAE-plug to CTEK-socket or to CTEK-plug. The former variation with CTEK-socket is ideal for batteries in motor bikes, boats or camper vans. Very often they are difficult to access and the adapter makes them much easier to recharge with CTEK-chargers. You don’t need to remove the battery any longer or try to screw or clamp unwieldy jumper cables to the battery posts in tight spaces. Simply plug in the adapter and you have a permanent and safe charging point. This adapter is specifically recommended for anyone already owning a CTEK-charger and intending to use it with our mobile and highly versatile Nakatanenga battery boxes or our portable multi-purpose Diesel heaters.
