CargoBear storage rack for Land Rover New Defender L663 The more space you have, the greater the temptation to simply deposit your gear all over the place. With a cargo giant like the new Defender 110 (from MY2020), this will inevitably lead to chaos. That's why we’re putting a bear in the cargo area, a small CargoBear. This additional shelf with its generous dimensions of about 860 x 525 mm takes a load of about 50 kg and is intended for heavier equipment, tools etc. As with the CargoBear roof rack, the cargo shelf is made of robust, powder-coated and perforated aluminum. Raised edges, anti-slip surface and a variety of lashing points make it very easy to ensure one hundred percent load security. By the way, the angled design of the supports leaves approx. 640 mm of loading height under the CargoBear rack. This means that even larger items such as boxes etc. can still be stowed without a problem. When mounting the shelf, all you need to do is fastening it to the existing attachement points of the trunk cover with the original screws. Two legends are coming together for the first time: the new Land Rover Defender, arguably the most complete 4x4 off-road vehicle at present, and our tried and tested, very successful modular roof rack system CargoBear. The bear crowns every new Landy, whether it’s a 90 or a 110. At Nakatanenga, we took our time to finetune the CargoBear for every design detail, technical specification and user requirement the Defender L663 (from MY 2020) challenged us with. At its full length of 2.41 m, our rack consists of 3 crossbars, two platform elements as well as front and rear modules. The overall width of 1.20 m gives you almost 3 square meters of fully usable cargo space. The entire surface can be loaded and walked upon – a decisive advantage over many competing products. The CargoBear is screwed into the original mounting points of the roof rails which have to be removed, of course. Another great advantage over the competition is the fact that you can configure the CargoBear rack in two heights: At 100 mm, the glass roof – if you have one –remains fully functional. If your Defender doesn’t have a glass roof or if you prefer a lower, more streamlined profile, the rack can be mounted at only 80mm above the roof. Whether you’re choosing the high or low mount, aerodynamics was always our main concern in the CargoBear’s development. There are no legally required speed limits when driving with the rack, but we recommend a top speed of 160 km/h when empty and 130 km/h when loaded. For the overall load capacity please refer to your owner’s manual and the specific version or configuration of your vehicle. The roof rack’s weight of up to 50 kg has to be deducted from the dynamic load capacity. Bulkhead conversion kit
Removing the full height bulkhead from the L663 Defender 90 and 110 'hardtop' is a popular modification, but when the factory bulkhead is removed from the vehicle, the area behind the seats looks raw and unfinished.
The Bulkhead Delete Kit cleans up the front edge of the cargo area and the trim area behind the seats to create a sleek OEM interior when the bulkhead has been removed from an L663 Defender Hardtop.
The partition removal kit's molded, raised lip creates a raised mini-partition that prevents objects in the rear of the vehicle from falling into the cavity behind the front seats and/or damaging the seat backs.
With the partition removed, the interior of your Defender Hardtop suddenly feels lighter and airier. Items in the rear of the vehicle are easier to reach and you can adjust the seats over a wider range.
The Bulkhead Delete Kit can be installed in around 30 minutes and it has been designed to utilize the existing mounting points, meaning no modifications need to be made to the interior of your Defender. This design feature also means that the installation is fully reversible at a later date. The installation kit includes 3D printed blanking plugs to cover the empty M6 fixing holes where the bulkhead brackets were attached to the B-pillar.
