However, there is one aspect in which the Defender's rustic box shape very quickly reveals annoying disadvantages, and that is the almost rectangular and fairly vertical windows.
Especially when driving off-road or in cold and wet conditions, for example when the Landy's ventilation is weak and the windows mist up, you'll be glad if you can roll the windows down a little. However, the effect described at the beginning of this article soon becomes apparent. The strong turbulence on the angular windows is not only loud, but also draws even more dust and water into the interior of the car. This annoys even hardened off-roaders.

Seat cover for driver and passenger side Ineos Grenadier The Ineos Grenadier is designed to be the successor to the old Land Rover Defender. You won’t find any gimmicks in the Grenadier but loads of functionality and robust simplicity. This principle also applies to the front seats by Recaro. While they provide a lot of support off-road, they are at the same time quite comfortable, both when driving and when getting in or out of the car. Regardless whether you choose the Recaros with leather or fabric upholstery, our tailor-made protective covers for the Grenadier’s front seats function as a sturdy and versatile "battle suit" for tough off-road missions, long overland trips and everyday life. Our textile designers opted for a three-part concept to achieve a perfect fit for the compact, straight-lined seats. Apart from the headrest, there are two separate covers for backrest and seat. This allows for a firm and precise fit without bulging or sliding. The covers are fastened with straps (or velcro) and tucked into the gaps for an even tighter fit, both at the outer edges and between the backrest and the seat. The materials - 1000D nylon 6.6 and breathable nylon mesh - are hard-wearing and, above all, easy to clean. MOLLE on the headrest, backrest and the front edge of the seat offers additional storage space to attach equipment and accessory pouches. Nakatanenga CargoBear for Ineos Grenadier The launch of the Ineos Grenadier was without a doubt the biggest event for the off-road community since the launch of the new Defender. And since the two are more or less officially competing for the title of best successor to the old Landy, it's a pretty exciting affair. When it comes to the shape of the roof, the new Ineos is hardly distinguishable from the old Defender, including the slope at the front, the side gutters and the mighty roof load of 150 kg (dynamic load) and 420 kg (static). All of that makes it a joy to fit the Grenadier with our CargoBear modular roof rack. The legendary CargoBear is just as ambitious and versatile as the British newcomer with its Bavarian-Austrian technology and old-school look. The CargoBear for the Grenadier (Station Wagon/Utility Wagon) can be ordered in four variations – but thanks to our modular system, subsequent conversions or add-ons are easily done, whenever your specific requirements change. In the simplest, open version, the roof rack consists of three crossbars, a wind deflector at the front and the end carrier at the rear. For closed and therefore fully accessible platforms, the Bear is available in three further versions: As a short roof rack with three crossbars, two closed sections between the bars, a wind deflector and end panel. And there’s the catch, because it is very easy to lose track of all your small and important things in the Grenadier’s huge cockpit. But now there’s an easy solution available: our practical organizer for the sun visor features a spacious zipper pocket, MOLLE and Velcro patches. All your essential vehicle documents, parking licenses, keys, pens, sunglasses and other small paraphernalia can be kept within easy reach at all times, without restricting your forward vision or driving attention in any way. Four sturdy Velcro straps guarantee a tight fit on the sun visor, even in rugged off-road terrain. Standard main beam headlights do the job as long as the road runs straight to the supermarket. Once the tarmac ends, everything left and right of the track goes dark fast. And from that point on, the terrain tends to keep surprises ready, for example a deer that doesn't see the off-roader coming, or a road edge that suddenly drops away into a deep ditch. The Vision X CG2 CPM710 Light Cannon make those surprises visible: multi-LED driving lights for the Ineos Grenadier, built for short and medium range. The beam of the Vision X auxiliary driving lights for the Grenadier Each lamp holds seven LEDs of 7 watts each, every one with its own 10° optic, and together they produce a wide driving beam. That works out to 49 watts per lamp, so 98 watts as a pair. Colour temperature sits at 6,000 Kelvin, which gives the light a clear, neutral-white character. Anyone looking for range rather than width should take a look at the single-LED sibling, the Vision X CG2 CPZ110. Clear or yellow lens? The Vision X auxiliary driving lights for the Grenadier come with either a clear or a selective yellow lens. Clear delivers the full light output and is the standard choice for clear nights. The yellow version is built for the days when something is hanging in the air, like dust on a desert track, mist in the mountains, driven snow on a pass, or heavy rain in the forest. Yellow light scatters less on particles in the air and therefore does not build the blinding wall in front of the bonnet that clear light can throw up when visibility drops. The Rockslider for the INEOS Grenadier is made of stainless steel in Germany and impresses with its function and striking design. In order to increase the stiffness in the event of a lateral load in off-road use, the lateral slotted holes are turned inwards. Mounting is done on original mounts without drilling.The Rockslider is mounted directly underneath the doors instead of the plastic trim. Due to the high exposed position of the Rockslider, the ramp angle of the INEOS Grenadier is not changed or impaired. Our Rockslider not only serves to protect the bodywork, but also provides a secure footing thanks to its non-slip surface made of drawn nubs. Due to its shape, the Rockslider also protects against excessive dirt in the field. The dirt collected can be rinsed out again through openings on the underside.
