Aluminum cases Pro There are many aluminum cases, but just one “Alubox”. The Wiberg family’s business on Zealand in Denmark has been supplying the Danish military, various rescue services, international expeditions and the off-road community since 1999 with tough, handmade transport cases made from aluminum alloy AW-5754. As you would expect from real Vikings, Danish Aluboxes are seawater resistant. In addition, they can be padlocked, are dust-proof and highly resistant to corrosion and chemicals. The Wibergs’ experience and their commitment to continuously improve the Aluboxes show in the details: extra-robust and impact-proof stacking corners provide tight connections when you put several boxes on top of each other. Spring handles retract, so they’re never sticking out as dangerous obstacles‚ causing damages or injuries. Aluboxes are now made with solid rivets for even greater robustness and durability, even in extreme conditions. The new transport box for the 30-second touring tents by OZtents was developed by Soren Wiberg, who is a big fan of Land Rovers and camping. That’s why he saw right away that the somewhat flimsy OZtent carry bag needs to be improved upon. With packing dimensions of roughly 2 m, OZtents are usually too long to be stowed inside smaller 4x4s. The new Alubox measures 2130 x 510 x 220 mm, making it the ideal storage space for OZtent models RV1, RV2, RV3, RV4 und RV5. The transport case is designed for roof racks, like our very own CargoBear. And if you can fit a tent in your Alubox, you can also fit many other long and unwieldy pieces of equipment: shovels, sand ladders, snow chains and everything else that’s needed on expeditions and camping trips. Modular vehicle panel, for Ineos Grenadier rear side windows, exterior Ineos intended the Grenadier to become the heir to the old Defender in terms of off-road capability and versatility. Many well-designed details show that this was no empty promise by Ineos. The standard airline rails above the rear mudguards, for example, are a feature that every proper 4x4 should have, because real off-roaders or overlanders want to transport important equipment on the outside of the vehicle without having to drill holes or making other destructive modifications. Our modular MOLLE vehicle panels for the Grenadier are very easy to attach to the airline rails mentioned above and the rain gutters via stainless steel brackets. The universal design allows mounting on both the left and right side of the vehicle. Dismantling possible without leaving a trace. The sturdy mount plate made of black powder-coated aluminum enables the safe transport of anything that is MOLLE-compatible and can be attached with straps, clamps or quickfists, for example. Side locker for Land Rover Defender, stainless steel, black powder-coated on the back left
Side Lockers Externally accessible storage space is standard in Land Rover emergency or service vehicles. And for good reasons. Firstly, unused hollow spaces within the body offer additional stowage and secondly, items that shouldn’t be stored inside the car due to access, hygiene or health reasons can be kept separately. Especially when the vehicle has been modified into a camper van or the load space has to be kept clean for humans and animals, it is a good idea to keep certain items in exterior storage. This includes oily tools, wet and dirty clothes or smelly and chemically hazardous items like jerry can spout, funnels or fuel-soaked rags. Camping fans particularly like to store gas cookers, cartridges and cooking accessories in the side locker. Using the lid as a table, your morning coffee tastes best besides your vehicle. We have completely overhauled the side locker and managed to improve some of the key features significantly. So, if you haven’t cut a hole in the rear left of your Defender yet (or had it done for you*), it’s now time to do so. And if you already have our old side locker installed, you can easily upgrade to the new version. Dimensions and mounting holes are fully compatible so that the upgrade can be installed in no time. What’s new? The box is now welded all around and the construction has been designed to meet the requirements of IP67. This has greatly improved the stainless steel locker’s robustness and waterproofing. We also added a new compression key lock with IP66 certification. The lock’s clamp can be adjusted so that the lid will stay permanently tight and rattle-free. The lid’s hinges are mounted at the bottom and it is held at a 90° angle by small chains on either side, forming a small tray or table. The side locker is custom-made for Defender 110s. The five door station wagon will take the storage box behind the rear left wheel arch, the three door hard top alternatively offers installation in front of the wheel arch. Alternatively, this middle position in the hard top Landy can also take our bigger locker with even more stowage space. The new side storage locker can also be installed in all other camper vans and expedition vehicles which offer suitable space in the body. Nakatanenga Mudguard Stowage Box The Nakatanenga mudguard storage boxes for the Land Rover Defender 90 / 110 are very light thanks to the case construction used, yet robust - an ideal combination for any touring vehicle! In addition, there are very high-quality fittings with field-proven performance features and great flexibility in design. We offer the box in two lengths as standard. The short design (630 mm length) is intended for the right-hand side of the Defender. The long design (900 mm length) is used on the left-hand side. If an internal roll cage is fitted, a mudguard stowage box can still be fitted: no modification is necessary on the right side due to the tank connection, the short box is used on the left. If you need special lengths or already have other installations in the rear of the vehicle, please contact us - we can work out very flexible solutions for you! CargoBear storage rack for Land Rover New Defender L663 The more space you have, the greater the temptation to simply deposit your gear all over the place. With a cargo giant like the new Defender 110 (from MY2020), this will inevitably lead to chaos. That's why we’re putting a bear in the cargo area, a small CargoBear. This additional shelf with its generous dimensions of about 860 x 525 mm takes a load of about 50 kg and is intended for heavier equipment, tools etc. As with the CargoBear roof rack, the cargo shelf is made of robust, powder-coated and perforated aluminum. Raised edges, anti-slip surface and a variety of lashing points make it very easy to ensure one hundred percent load security. By the way, the angled design of the supports leaves approx. 640 mm of loading height under the CargoBear rack. This means that even larger items such as boxes etc. can still be stowed without a problem. When mounting the shelf, all you need to do is fastening it to the existing attachement points of the trunk cover with the original screws. The Jimny is mostly a specialized working vehicle for farmers, forest workers and hunters. That means, there’s always lots of tools, fuels, lubricants, equipment, feed bags and dirty clothes that you don’t want to pile up on the small surface area of the cargo hold. Add animals – dead and alive – to the mix and you get the picture.Once we’ve spotted this particular problem, we immediately set to work on it and are now offering a mini-version of our CargoBear system specifically for the back of the Jimny GJ/HJ. That’s where this nifty and inconspicuous modification comes in for Defender models Td5 and Td4 (90/110/130) – whether camping conversion, expedition vehicle or your regular standard spec Landy. Our hidden underfloor locker for the front footwell is integrated in the floor panel and thereby creates a lot more security for your valuables. Secured by a lock, dust- and watertight and in most cases hidden by floor mats, the underfloor boxes are the ideal storage space for all those extremely important small things: documents, passports, wallets, expensive electronics, gadgets, tools, medication etc. Sporting a volume of ca. 7 liters, this roughly square storage box will hold an astounding amount of your most valuable items. Since the boxes are mounted underneath the footwell floor, we make them from extremely robust, powder-coated stainless steel. Installing the assembly kits for Td5/Td4 in the right or left front seat footwells is really simple. Provides additional storage space for all the odds and ends, like sun glasses, mobile phones, purses or other valuables. As it is mounted underneath the cubby box and features a hidden lock, this storage safe is hard to notice and thus gives additional security. Other such cases often only offer space for a few documents, while our safe is large enough to hold items of larger size, cameras, mobile, navigation devices, money, glasses, etc. Usable interior space 43x26x14 cm. In this is the new and improved version of our popular CUSADE the sockets have been replaced by waterproof heavy-duty items. A perfect storage place for these things is our side-mounted storage box for the New Landy’s right side.* The side-mounted storage box is made from Plastic and offers a hefty 24 l of volume. It is mounted on the standard roof rail or on our CargoBear roof rack – adapters are included. Its size and the maximum load of 17 kg allow for a huge amount of equipment that can be stored here. Inside the box, there’s a built-in storage mesh for more safety and tidiness. The carrier can be locked and is also watertight, of course.
