Performance Optimization and Speed Unlimiter for all Land Rover Td4 2.4 A well-balanced tuning for your Defender Td4 2.4 - model year 2007-2011, which gets dormant power reserves out of the Puma / TdCi engine without damaging it. In contrast to many others, this tuning does not focus on a maximum increase in power, but instead achieves an engine-friendly and at the same time clearly noticeable increase in horsepower and torque. By reprogramming the control unit, the factory maximum speed / VMax restriction is also completely removed at the same time, allowing the engine to develop its full power spectrum - this is useful for frequent motorway trips, for example. Optionally, the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) can also be switched off - this improves the engine's pulling power. Please note that the EGR valve must not be dismantled, otherwise error codes will be generated. Our software-based deactivation, on the other hand, does not trigger such codes and can, of course, be retrofitted without leaving a trace - this applies to all tuning measures offered here. The configuration is done according to the customer's wishes - in case of special requirements: Just contact us! Please note our fitting flat-charge! Please note that when fitting a de-cat pipe within the German road law your vehicle approval with be void. The de-cat pipe fits all vehicle lengths (90/110/130). There are different pipes for Td4 (MY 2007-2011) and Td5 (My 2002-2006) engines. The de-cat pipe is not suitable for Defender Td4 2.2 (from MY2012) because of the particulate filter. Replaces the main silencer: MSD exhaust pipe 110 SPEZIAL for Tdi Motorsport accessory, not street legal The “effects” are: Sonorous sound and significantly lower back pressure, which also reduces the temperature at the manifold. The sound is “rich” - just as it should be for a diesel. It is not noticeably louder when the windows in the interior are closed. Of course, the whole thing is not road-legal and can therefore only be driven on non-public roads or abroad. This MSD exhaust pipe for the Discovery II SPECIAL replaces the main Muffler This is motorsport equipment and not street legal! The advantages are a sonorous sound, a significantly lower pressure suction and thus a lower manifold temperature. The sound will grow to be more "full" - like a diesel should - but inside the cabin you will not feel a difference in volume. Of course, the exhaust does not meet the germen TÜV requirements and thus can only be used on private ground and outside the country. Most customers, buying this, speak of a more responsive performance, which we can confirm as well. EXTREMEspec release bearing strong and reliable The EXTREMEspec release bearing has been made not only strong and reliable, but also durable by adding a simple feature that allows grease to be used on the surface of the guide tube. Oil rings keep the grease in place and protect it from contamination. This grease barrier not only protects the release bearing, but also the guide tube itself. It also minimises clutch release bearing rattling, a common problem that causes a loud rattling noise at idle due to lack of grease and poor design tolerances. High-performance silicone hoses for turbochargers and intercoolers They are suitable for the Land Rover Defender with all diesel engine options as well as for selected models of the Land Rover Discovery 1/2/3 and Range Rover. The polyester-reinforced silicone hoses are tougher and thicker than the manufacturer's original hoses, making them more suitable for heavy-duty applications (such as towing, performance-enhanced vehicles and desert driving). The operating temperature ranges from -40° to +180° Celsius. The hoses are also designed for higher pressures - this is especially important for performance-enhanced engines. Effective help with power loss: vacuum can as a spare part If you’re experiencing performance problems with the turbo, the problem can be as simple as a faulty, leaky or seized actuator. The actuator is pneumatically regulated, purely mechanical and is designed to open the wastegate in the turbo charger. At high load, a good part of the hot exhaust gases are thus diverted directly into the exhaust system without propelling the turbo beyond its own safety limits and the critical boost pressure for the engine. Generally speaking, if your turbo stops working correctly, Land Rover will only supply the entire turbo assembly. But if the fault lies only with the actuator, you can order the module as a separate replacement part from us. In many cases, that can solve your problem without having to resort to buying a complete turbo assembly. Installing the new actuator in the Td5’s turbo is fairly easy. Simply screw it onto the bracket and attach both the actuator arm to the wastegate mechanism and the pressure hose to the actuator. Assuming your adjustment screw on the old actuator was in the correct position, simply set the new actuator’s arm to the same length to achieve the correct settings.

POWERslave for Td5 Discovery and Defender Heavy clutches with high pedal weight are a known phenomenon especially in Td5 Defenders (1998-2006) but also in many Td5 Discovery models (1998-2004). But there’s a simple and cost-effective solution for anyone experiencing problems with the heavy pedal. Installing a POWERslave slave cylinder will reduce the pedal weight by up to 30% in comparison to the original set-up. Please note: the POWERslave cylinder lowers the biting point of the clutch. On Defenders, the biting point can be adjusted in the pedal box. On Discovery 2 models, where the pedal box is not adjustable, we recommend installing the slave cylinder only after the clutch is worn in after a few thousand miles.
