Fuel pick-up unit When retrofitting a Diesel heater in your car, the most difficult part is connecting the fuel pick-up line to the car’s Diesel tank. Our fuel pick-up unit simplifies this step greatly, as there is no need to de-install the tank or drill holes in it. The fuel pick-up unit is inserted in the fuel filler hose between filler neck and the tank, a modification suitable for most Diesel vehicles with a hose diameter of 42 mm, as is the case with the Ford Transit Custom for example. We also have a version for classic Defenders (up to MY 2016) with 59 mm available. By bending the flexible fuel pick-up line, you can set a specific level to which the heater can empty the tank, whether completely or up to a certain reserve level. The fuel pick-up unit will work with a wide variety of Diesel heaters, like the Webasto Airtop 2000 or Eberspächer Airtronic D2. It is ideal in combination with our AUTOTERM (Planar) heaters. Silencer for 60mm hot air hose This warm air silencer reduces the noise of incoming or heated air from the heating system. There are connections for the hot air pipes on both sides. Tank-mounted fuel intake pipe The 60 cm tank-mounted fuel intake pipe is perfect for our diesel heaters by Autoterm, but will also suit most other products like Webasto or Eberspächer. It will work with both diesel and gasoline on either air or water heated systems and it doesn’t matter whether your tank is plastic or metal. To fit the intake pipe, it is generally necessary to remove the fuel tank and its fittings. After drilling a hole for the intake pipe, the connector head has to be countered with a nut from the inside. That’s why access to the tank’s interior through the intake opening is a must. The flexible riser pipe can be bent into any shape, making it easy to determine the extraction level for the heater. Make sure that the opening of the pipe doesn’t reach all the way to the bottom of the tank, otherwise you’ll risk complete emptying of your fuel tank and the unwanted intake of dirt particles or tank sludge. The tank extraction is ideally suited for our Planar parking heaters.

Planar 2D Auxiliary Vehicle Heater We offer the Planar 2D auxiliary vehicle heater as a well-priced, powerful alternative to our Webasto auxiliary vehicle heater kits. With their compact size and a heater output of 1.8 kW, the Planar 2D is well-suited for fitting to smaller vehicles, vans, off-roaders, camper vans, boats or in confined spaces. It is ideal for 'typical' off-road vehicles like the Land Rover Defender, Mercedes G oder Jeep Wrangler JK. The extensive fitting kit that is supplied with each heater make fitting easy. The Planar 2D can be easily controlled via its analogous control unit, with 8 settings available from 0,8 - 1,8 kW heat output. Available as both, 12 volts or 24 volts, this heater is European market approved (ECE label) and can thus be fitted independet of TUV approval. The parking heater has approval for the European market (ECE test mark) and can therefore be installed without registration. The hole pattern is the same as that of Eberspächer Airtronic and Webasto AirTop 2000 heaters, so that an old unit could easily be replaced without drilling additional holes.A space-saving version with a 90° angle can be found here.  All Planar auxiliary vehicle heaters are extremely long-lasting and durable, as well as very frugal. This reduces or prevents shooting of the combustion chamber when the atmospheric oxygen content drops. The max. Heating power drops in proportion to the amount of oxygen in the air. Roughly one can say: From 2.000 meters the loss of power per 500 m height is approx. 5%. Manufacturer tests up to 3.440 m were no problem. No difficulties are to be expected up to 4.000 m. The software itself calculates up to 5.000 m - however, this has not yet been tested in real height. The separately available control unit with timer (optional extra) features a larger OLED display and more intuitive operation. Temperature, ventilation and output can be configured via a display and various switches. An added timer clock allows you to set the heater to a specific time. OLED display provides maximum visibility with minimum power drain.  Possible settings:- temperature and output- time and date- language (English or Russian) Features of the new timer clock:- daily: one fixed time at which the heater starts each day- individual: up to thee different settings with different days and times.
