Bulkhead conversion kit Removing the full height bulkhead from the L663 Defender 90 and 110 'hardtop' is a popular modification, but when the factory bulkhead is removed from the vehicle, the area behind the seats looks raw and unfinished.The Bulkhead Delete Kit cleans up the front edge of the cargo area and the trim area behind the seats to create a sleek OEM interior when the bulkhead has been removed from an L663 Defender Hardtop.The partition removal kit's molded, raised lip creates a raised mini-partition that prevents objects in the rear of the vehicle from falling into the cavity behind the front seats and/or damaging the seat backs.With the partition removed, the interior of your Defender Hardtop suddenly feels lighter and airier. Items in the rear of the vehicle are easier to reach and you can adjust the seats over a wider range.The Bulkhead Delete Kit can be installed in around 30 minutes and it has been designed to utilize the existing mounting points, meaning no modifications need to be made to the interior of your Defender. This design feature also means that the installation is fully reversible at a later date. The installation kit includes 3D printed blanking plugs to cover the empty M6 fixing holes where the bulkhead brackets were attached to the B-pillar.Disclaimer: The L663 Partition Removal Kit is not intended to provide structural strength or any form of personal protection to occupants from a shifting load. No more rust: replacement bulkhead for Td5 and 300 Tdi The bulkhead is pretty much the most complex body part in a Landy – and one of the most vulnerable components, too. For one, it’s sporting many edges, corners, folds, curves and rivet connections and requires a considerable number of screw holes: to the frame, to the connections in the engine bay and to the windshield. Add to that a whole bunch of openings for steering, pedals, air and electrics and you see the problem. All this structural complexity combined with its positioning exposes the bulkhead to water splashing up from below or trickling down from above. Dirt and chemicals collect in the nooks and crannies and trap moisture almost permanently. On the inside of the cabin condensation or leaks can produce the same effect behind the dashboard, panels or floor mats, thereby creating constant moisture exposure from both sides. No wonder, that the bulkhead is one of those components that suffer most from visible or hidden corrosion. Over time, it can even affect the frame. Even items that are only needed in an emergency are then within easy reach.In addition to a space-saving bag, the innovative Overhead Storage System contains a base plate that is attached between the sun visor and the car roof. In various bundles, you can then decide whether the plate with radio holder is intended for the driver's or passenger's side. In the case of the base plate with radio holder, a suitable holder for the CB handset is also included in the scope of delivery. This holder uses the three attachment points of the centre mirror.The bag and plate are available in black and grey. As an alternative to the Albrecht radio, other radios with similar dimensions (104 x 100 x 25 mm) can also be attached. Land Rover Defender - Multifunctional Extension The multifunctional conversion for the Defender 110 TD4 offers an additional loading level with minimal conversion effort. This gives you additional storage space and, with the second row of seats folded down, a flat loading area approx. 180 cm long. The folding wooden cover provides privacy and also serves as a luggage compartment cover. The aluminium boxes are manufactured in skeleton construction and are therefore particularly light and space-saving. They are bolted to the wheel housing and can be fitted in just a few steps.
