Galvanised doors for Land Rover Defender from model year 1983-2016 in Land Rover Series Style Everything was better in the past? Not necessarily, but these Defender conversion kits for Series 2/3 style doors are not only for retro fans but definitely add a lot of quality and functionality that has become lost along the way in the standard Defender doors from model year 1983 onwards. So, what are the advantages that these Series-style two-part doors have over the Defender originals? Apart from the fact that they come considerably cheaper, most of the pros lie in the design and the construction of the two-piece doors. For a start, the lift-up handle is recessed and doesn’t protrude as with the plastic push-button handle on the standard doors. This improves safety because they won’t catch on obstacles while off-roading or navigating narrow passages. The lift-up handles also grant better theft prevention as they come with a stronger locking mechanism. Furthermore, the door’s design also creates more space inside the cab, a fact that tall drivers will appreciate immensely. Soft top models, especially, will profit from the completely removable door tops. The slide windows themselves offer quality glazing and one thing you never need to worry about again is the winding mechanism underneath the door trim. In terms of quality and assembly these conversion kits leave nothing to be desired. The frames of door tops and the bottoms are hot-dip galvanized and the aluminum skins adhere to original factory specs. The split retro doors will fit all Defender Models from 90s to 130s and model years from 1983 to 2016. They come with all the required fastenings, handles, locks, strikers and seals. Standard functions of the original doors like car alarm contacts and automatic interior light switch are accommodated for. The only modification required is the drilling of two new holes each for the strikers, because they are differently positioned due to the different locking mechanism. However, we will include a drilling template. The conversion kits are available in pairs for front and/or back seats.

That’s where this nifty and inconspicuous modification comes in for Defender models Td5 and Td4 (90/110/130) – whether camping conversion, expedition vehicle or your regular standard spec Landy. Our hidden underfloor locker for the front footwell is integrated in the floor panel and thereby creates a lot more security for your valuables. Secured by a lock, dust- and watertight and in most cases hidden by floor mats, the underfloor boxes are the ideal storage space for all those extremely important small things: documents, passports, wallets, expensive electronics, gadgets, tools, medication etc. Sporting a volume of ca. 7 liters, this roughly square storage box will hold an astounding amount of your most valuable items. Since the boxes are mounted underneath the footwell floor, we make them from extremely robust, powder-coated stainless steel. Installing the assembly kits for Td5/Td4 in the right or left front seat footwells is really simple. Other areas in the vehicle body are also suitable for mounting the locker, the cargo hold for example. In these cases, you can order the box also without the panel. If you own non-standard Defenders or older models, where the Td5/Td4 panels won’t fit, you should also choose the “locker only” option. License plate holder for NAWIBU winch bumper Our heavy duty Nakatanenga winching bumper for classic Defenders is the perfect mounting solution for winches. The entire winching unit stays well protected behind the bumper and the winching cable runs smoothly through the integrated winch window in the middle of the bumper. Normally, this is where the license plate is positioned and that brings us to the problem and our simultaneously elegant and quick solution. Our custom made number plate holder is simply screwed into the fastening holes of the winching window, making it possible to mount the number plate more or less in its usual position. The Rockslider for the INEOS Grenadier is made of stainless steel in Germany and impresses with its function and striking design. In order to increase the stiffness in the event of a lateral load in off-road use, the lateral slotted holes are turned inwards. Mounting is done on original mounts without drilling.The Rockslider is mounted directly underneath the doors instead of the plastic trim. Due to the high exposed position of the Rockslider, the ramp angle of the INEOS Grenadier is not changed or impaired. Our Rockslider not only serves to protect the bodywork, but also provides a secure footing thanks to its non-slip surface made of drawn nubs. Due to its shape, the Rockslider also protects against excessive dirt in the field. The dirt collected can be rinsed out again through openings on the underside.
