Considering the limited interior that means first and foremost to use the roof space to the full extent: either with our own dedicated CargoBear system for the Jimny or any other conventional roof rails, bars or racks. Whatever solution you prefer, our light and strong aluminum ladder makes accessing the roof area a lot easier. Climbing to the rooftop is safer, more comfortable and allows for stress-free loading, fastening or strapping down of your cargo. The ladder is mounted on the tailgate only and has no connection with the roof or the rack, making it ideal for all kinds of carrier systems. Additionally, there is no need to drill holes either as the ladder is custom-designed to fit existing mounting points and screw holes: on the spare wheel mount, the tailgate’s drip rail and the bottom right door hinge. This also allows for quick and easy de-installation without damage or marks. The ladder is made from high-quality aluminum and features black powder coating – a perfect match for our modular CargoBear roof rack system.

Not an SUV for transporting the kiddies to riding school, but a real off-roader with a Twingo-like footprint of just 3.65 x 1.65 metres. Since the Jimny is a traditional workhorse with limited interior space, every cubic centimetre of free space counts. Off-the-shelf seat covers can't do this, they slip, overhang, get stuck or snag on moving parts. That's why our high-quality covers are tailor-made and fit extremely precisely thanks to individual Velcro straps. This also applies to the perfectly fitting headrest protector. As one of the last true off-road vehicles, the Jimny is particularly popular with foresters, fishermen, farmers and other 4x4 enthusiasts. Dirt, dust and animal residues therefore stay better on the easy-to-clean 100% nylon slipcovers than in the seats themselves. Unlike PVC, nylon PU (polyurethane) is free of harmful phthalate-based plasticisers. Until recently, low-molecular phthalates were the most common plasticisers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are suspected of acting like endogenous hormones due to their molecular nature. This is highly questionable from a toxicological point of view and is considered to be a trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it is therefore a matter of course to use only ecologically and health-safe alternatives such as nylon PU for the coating of textile products.

The modular roof rack system that has revolutionized the attic conversions on top of Defenders and G-Wagons is now also available for the Jimny II GJ / HJ. The small workhorse from Suzuki is a big performer but has one major disadvantage: the Jimny –  due to conceptual constraints – suffers from massive lack of space on the inside. Farmers, foresters and other friends of the 4x4 quickly reach the limits of the Mini-Defender when storing tools and equipment. With the CargoBear for the petite Japanese, there is now a modular and highly flexible roof rack to individually adapt to your needs. The CargoBear’s flat roof silhouette reduces aerodynamic losses and the modular design protects the car’s roof and body by effectively absorbing torsion forces. The deep black, high-quality powder-coated CargoBear modules made of aluminum-magnesium alloy are manufactured entirely in Germany. The bear’s skeleton is made up of either two or three crossbeams. The beams also work by themselves as roof racks. Two panels fit each segment between a pair of crossbars, creating either a short or a full platform over the entire length of the roof. An accompanying wind deflector at the front further improves the aerodynamics of the roof rack, which is already very flat, and offers the possibility of mounting the Osram SX180 or SX300 light bars via special holes. For the rear, an end carrier is included for mounting additional headlights, handles or other accessories. The modular structure over the entire area allows for a flexible yet precise arrangement of lashing points, thereby making your roof load much more secure. Fittings are inserted in the lashing grid on the side or on top of the rack. Single stud fittings are recommended for lighter loads. If it gets heavier, choose ring fittings with double studs. As the name implies, two studs instead of one are inserted into the lashing grid, effectively halving the forces exerted on each point in the grid. The CargoBear’s panels feature a perforated non-slip design, contributing further to your load safety. The modules are supplied with all the necessary fastening material. Wind deflector and end carrier are included in the scope of delivery. Measured from the gutter, the CargoBear is approx. 15 cm high.
