Windscreen cover Famously, there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad preparation, if we may extend the scope of the old saying. In any case, you’re well prepared for all sorts of situations if you carry one of our Nakatanenga multifunctional covers in your car. One side is covered in an insulating aluminum thermal foil, the other is made from PU coated, stepped nylon, making it a perfect multi-purpose cover. Especially when it’s cold or wet or both. The material is extremely robust, water-repellent and easy to clean. In winter, it makes the perfect windshield cover, especially for SUV’s or 4x4’s. With ample dimensions of 162 x 86 cm the mat features on the nylon side 6 firmly sewn-in d-rings made from sturdy plastic. You simply attach the included rubber straps, your own elastic cords and fasten them to mirrors or other structural features. The insulated aluminum side sports 5 cm wide and 20 cm long nylon straps that are meant to be trapped in the door frame. That way nothing will shift or be blown away by the wind overnight. In the morning everyone will appreciate a snow and ice-free windshield. The mat also does an excellent job at other times of the year or on other occasions. In summer, it reduces the heating of the inside of the car and is also the perfect base: as a picnic blanket for the damp meadow or as a place for the four-legged friend to lie down, for sports, outdoor activities or repairs in the field as well as the cosy round at the campfire. Simply spread out, lie nice and warm and dry and finally fold along the quilting after use and stow away. Mobile parking heater with aluminum box, various versions Make way, here comes the second generation of our mobile parking heaters in a box! We have packed even more technology, even more experience and even more customer feedback into our new mobile heating boxes. If you are looking for a small, self-sufficient and portable heat source with unrivaled capacity for cold days and nights in unheated outdoor shelters or temporary accommodation, you get everything you need (or want) in a small, weatherproof aluminum box. Available in three modular versions with different configurations, the Nakatanenga heating box provides the perfect, independent heat source for tents, gazebos, garden sheds, mountain huts, snack stands, stalls and much more. The heart of the mobile parking heater is the Autoterm Luft 2D, a diesel-powered air heater with a maximum heat output of 1.8 kW and a diesel consumption of just under a quarter of a liter per hour at full power. With a tank capacity of 18 liters in the twin-tank version, this means that it can heat at full throttle for over 70 hours. The economical unit, which is also very quiet at 55 dB thanks to the exhaust silencer, is controlled by a digital control unit with timer in the version with two batteries and can also be switched on and off by radio remote control. This allows you to preheat your camper, roof tent, caravan or hunting lodge in good time for getting up or for the evening, for example, and operate it from the place where you are staying or sleeping inside*. In contrast to the previous models, the three versions of our mobile parking heater are now only available in one box size, namely 42 liters. This is significantly more compact than the old version in the large version and only slightly more voluminous than the small model from before. What is the advantage? The new universal crate has a modular interior with a powerful performance. Depending on whether you need tanks, batteries or both in the box, you can choose the appropriate version when purchasing: with 9.2 L single or 18.4 L double tank, each without battery, as well as with single tank, two batteries and digital control. However, it can also be easily retrofitted or converted if requirements change. This is made possible by elaborately designed brackets in the box and the use of specially manufactured, made-to-measure tanks. Features of heating box 1 and 2 (without battery) - USB interface for charging smartphone, power bank, tablet, etc.- Capacity display- PU5 control panel (without timer and storage options)- 12 V connection socket for supplied pole terminal cable- Alternatively, a cable for cigarette lighter (KMSH cable) can be used- 2 radio remote controls- Connection option for external temperature sensor (the connection is inside the box, not outside)” Features of heater box 3 (with 2 AGM batteries) - USB interface for charging smartphone, power bank, tablet, etc.- Capacity display- Comfort Control control panel (with timer and memory option)- SAE connection socket (suitable for Optimate chargers or Optimate solar charger)- 2 radio remote controls- Connection option for external temperature sensor (the connection is inside the box, not outside) Equipment of heating box 4 (with 1 LiFePo battery) - USB interface for charging smartphone, power bank, tablet etc.- Capacity display- Comfort Control control panel (with timer and memory option)- SAE connection socket (suitable for Optimate chargers or Optimate solar charger)- 2 radio remote controls- Connection option for external temperature sensor (the connection is inside the box, not outside)-> Please only use LiFePo-compatible chargers Equipment of heating box 5 (with 2 LiFePo batteries) - USB interface for charging smartphone, power bank, tablet, etc.- Capacity display- Comfort Control control panel (with timer and memory option)- SAE connection socket (suitable for Optimate chargers or Optimate solar charger)- 2 radio remote controls- Connection option for external temperature sensor (the connection is inside the box, not outside)”-> please only use LiFePo-compatible chargers The warm air is transported via a firmly screw-fastened, waterproof Flexi hose. As the warm air hose is different for every user and every requirement, we do not include a standard length, but leave it up to you to order the desired length separately here in the store, with or without a silicone sleeve. You can find the perfect storage bag for the Flexi hose here in the store. Regardless of the configuration, the mobile parking heaters are always easy to transport and make the difference between experiencing and suffering in the cold seasons. Whether it's an aurora safari, selling cookies at the Christmas market or winter camping in a roof tent, nothing is really fun if you freeze to death. *ATTENTION: As a precaution, we would like to point out that operation in closed rooms is not permitted due to the risk of poisoning from exhaust fumes. In addition, for optimum heating performance, make sure that the air inlets for combustion and hot air are positioned so that they are protected from the weather. Dimensions Internal dimensions 550x350x220 mm External dimensions 580x380x240 mm Empty weight: 2 tanks, without battery: 18 kg 1 tank, without battery: 16 kg 1 tank, 2 batteries: 36 kg Depending on how many starts are made, the battery lasts at least 40 h, but more likely between 60 and 70 h. LiFePo4 batteries - i.e. batteries with a lithium iron phosphate cathode - are the ideal supply batteries for camping or electrical work on the move. In contrast to conventional lead-acid AGM technology, lithium batteries combine superior charging properties with much lower weight and volume and a long service life. LiFePo4 batteries can be deep-discharged without any problems, which sooner or later leads to irreparable damage with AGM batteries, as the rule of thumb here is that you should never draw more than 50% charge. If you are not dependent on the greater cold tolerance of AGM batteries, you should definitely consider the higher costs for LiFePo4 batteries and compatible charging technology. The weight and space savings, the long service life and the uncomplicated discharging and charging of the battery are strong arguments in favor of the investment. What's more, LiFePo4 technology is also extremely safe And a special note on aluminum: Although we take the utmost care during storage and shipping, as with all our products, aluminum boxes can always show minimal scratches, stains, dents or other surface features upon delivery. These are material-related and result from the specific properties of the light metal. In contact with oxygen, aluminum forms a natural, corrosion-protecting patina and is also relatively soft compared to steel, which is three times heavier. This makes the material ideal for use in sheet metal, especially when weight and resistance are important. On the other hand, however, it also means that aluminum can never be completely free of patina or other marks, even on delivery: Small scratches, stains etc. therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint. Ultimately, aluminum boxes are intended to be robust objects of daily use. Like everything that is actively used, they develop an individual patina and every trace of use tells a story. So, have fun with it! If you want to heat the interior of your vehicle, we offer an installation service for warm air ducting through a ventilation plate. Please note the variants without batteries: Most portable power stations or battery boxes (such as Goal Zero, Eco Flow, Bluetti etc.) are unfortunately not suitable for operating mobile parking heaters. The heater requires up to 15A as starting current and when shutting down, but very few battery boxes can provide this. Suitable battery boxes for operating the mobile parking heater Please note the legal information on batteries HERE. For certain types of batteries, we are legally obliged to charge a deposit.

Nakatanenga Merino Summer Socks low Merino wool is most commonly associated with functional underwear for winter sports, because its insulating properties are legendary. But Merino is also the perfect material for our light sneaker socks for the summer. The super sheep’s miracle fleece provides everything that a good air conditioning system does: it regulates temperature and gets rid of excess moisture. Merino not only warms but also cools in hot weather and that’s due to the micro structure of the ultra-fine curly fibers in the fleece. They absorb high amounts of moisture and release it quickly back to the air. Effective condensation thus cools your skin and leaves you with a pleasant feeling when wearing the socks. The experience of comfort and wellbeing is still increased by the fact that Merino wool doesn’t itch and that it smells less (and later) than other materials due to the fiber’s antibacterial properties. Specially selected high-performance synthetics turn the Nakatanenga sneaker sock into a proper athlete, because polypropylene, elastane und polyamide components in the fabric ensure that the natural wool doesn’t get too strained by rubbing, chafing and stretching, especially in the summer when there is high demand from activities like running or hiking. The synthetics reduce wear and tear and keep the socks elastic and in shape. With thin summer socks, the areas around the toes and the heel are especially vulnerable for chafing or rubbing through due to higher mechanical stress by your foot’s motion in the shoe. That’s why we have strengthened these zones with a soft plush fabric. If you like our three-season socks, you will love our sneaker socks for the summer. Material: 60% merino, 25% polypropylene, 10% elastane, 5% polyamide For hygienic reasons, this item is generally excluded from return.

For car campers and roof tent enthusiasts, roof loads are often a (ge)important issue. If you take it lightly, you risk roof damage. But away from the play on words and towards the bare figures, because the trend is clear: the average dynamic roof loads of vehicles are falling. While the G-Class with 200 kg and the new Defender with up to 168 kg are still solid values, things go downhill pretty quickly after that. Even a new Land Cruiser J150 Prado only manages 80 kilos, and in the normal passenger car segment the average is closer to 60 kilos, with a downward trend. In addition to changes in vehicle statics due to lightweight construction and electrification, the increased use of sensors and assistance systems is probably responsible for this. And even if the values for a stationary vehicle are of course considerably higher, the critical range for commercially available roof tents is approaching. At Nakatanenga, we are reacting to this development at an early stage and have therefore developed the Roof Lodge Lightweight, an ultra-light roof tent which, with a total weight of only approx. 46 kg, weighs a record low on the scales or the car roof. Of course, there are no restrictions on the space, comfort and weather protection you are used to from our Roof Lodges. How does it work? What is the difference between the LIGHTWEIGHT roof tent and our EVOLUTION 2 folding tents? >>> Detailed explanations and a description of the points listed below can be found on our info page, which opens in a new window. >>> First of all, we use 100% Oxford nylon with ripstop for the skin of the Lightweight, an extremely strong but surprisingly light material that weighs in at only 102 g/m2. Compared to the 320 g/m2 on our Evolution 2, this is a reduction of a whopping 78%. The fabric of the tent skin and the sun awning of the Lightweight are identical, PU-coated on the inside and impregnated on the outside. This means that no compromises are made in terms of wind and rain protection. How can weight be saved on the roof when travelling with the roof tent? Further weight can be saved on the Roof Lodge Lightweight by choosing the mattresses. As an alternative to our one-piece standard foam mattress (60 mm, approx. 5 kg) and the optional 3D mesh mattress (approx. 3.5 kg), we also offer a self-inflating Kampa mattress with a thickness of 10 cm and a weight of approx. 5.5 kg. The 10 cm thickness of the air mattress has been chosen so that, with a lower total weight, a comparable lying comfort and similar insulation properties to the combination of foam mattress with mesh underlay are given. Last but not least, the aluminium ladder can be removed and transported inside the car, which reduces both the roof load and the overall height of the vehicle. On car ferries, for example, 10 cm less height can often make a money-saving difference. Anyone who would like to go on a road trip with their own roof tent in times of limited contact, but does not have heavy four-wheel drive vehicles and would like to experience this adventurous way of travelling in the best sense of the word with station wagons, SUVs and even smaller cars up to hatchbacks, will be delighted with the Roof Lodge Lightweight. This item is bulky goods. The stated shipping weight differs from the actual item weight. The actual item weights are: Roof Lodge Lightweight with self-inflating mattress: approx. 47 kg. Roof Lodge Lightweight with standard mattress: approx 49 kg Roof Lodge Lightweight with standard mattress and 3D mesh underlay: approx. 52 kg Save weight during the journey and stow the following items inside the vehicle: Ladder: approx. 4.3 kg Self-inflating mattress: 5,2 kg Saar foam mattress: 5 kg (standard) and 7kg (hard) Saar foam mattress with 3D mesh underlay: 8kg and 10kg respectively Further keywords for this item: roof lodge, roof loge rooflodge, roof tent, roof-lodge, roof-tent

You made your bed, now lie in it! Taken literally, the old saying holds especially true in the Great Outdoors, whether it’s “just” a short camping trip, a long overland trek or an expedition. Good sleep and hence physical recovery can make a crucial if not life-saving difference in challenging conditions. Very often, though, picking a good outdoor mattress or sleeping pad ranks only a distant second behind the choice of the sleeping bag. But experience shows, if you have a good tent or vehicle to sleep in, that approach is most likely the wrong way around. In fairly sheltered conditions, the right mattress can make more of a difference to a good night’s sleep. For their range of Kip Highrise mattresses, UK brand Kampa promise sleeping comfort “like your own bed”. Big words, convincingly backed up by a 10 cm die-cut and open-cell foam core. This structure guarantees that the mattress will accommodate for the sleeper’s body shape and will insulate extremely well from low ground temperatures. The soft and slip resistant stretch-comfort surface is luxurious and inviting. So, if nights out camping make you think of yesteryear’s rubbery, squeaky and bouncy air mattresses, you couldn’t be more wrong. With the deep and comfy Kip Highrise, you can rest easy, literally, even when you have company. A useable sleeping surface of 201 x 128 cm is achieved by vertical sidewalls, just as with your “proper” bedroom mattress at home. That makes for sufficient and cozy space for two sleepers. In addition, the firmness of the mattress can be finetuned by adding air while setting the valves to “Inflate Only”. The Highrise also hits the sweet spot between comfort and mobility when it comes to setting up/breaking up camp and packing everything away. Two easy-to-use quick-flow valves with three settings regulate air intake, desired firmness as well as fast and complete deflating. The surface material is water repellent and easy to clean. After use, the deflated Highrise is quickly rolled up and stowed away in its own stuff sack. It is these features and the low weight of only 5.2 kg for a double that made us select the Kip Highrise as the mattress of choice for our Roof Lodge roof tents. In stark contrast to foam mattresses, the inflatable Kip Highrise can be easily rolled up and stored inside the car and not the roof tent. This option is of crucial importance if your car’s dynamic roof load is already challenged by rack and tent alone. Size: 201x128x10 cmWeight: 5.2 kg

Our popular DABUCKET multi-purpose synthetic fabric bins for off-road, camping and outdoor activities have a new family member. The 5 L DABUCKET TRASH is specifically designed as a garbage container for your car. The idea behind our DABUCKETS is quite simple. The flexible bins are made from 100% Nylon / Polyamide with PU coating which creates a tough and watertight second layer to hold standard size bin liners or garbage bags. The small DABUCKET TRASH takes any standard household 5 L bag, making it the perfect container for all the trash and junk that keeps piling up in your car. The DABUCKET TRASH’s sewn-in Velcro patch will stick to any fleece or regular car carpet, holding the bin firmly in place. You can also fix it to a Keder rail using the attached fastener piece. The small DABUCKET has a 13 cm drawstring sleeve on top. Once pulled shut with the draw cord nothing can fall out and odors are kept inside. You can carry or hang the DABUCKET TRASH by a small loop on the upper rim. This is especially handy because the great outdoors are full of four-legged creatures who will seek out your 4x4 if there is a whiff of food around. Closer to civilization you might encounter fox, rat or racoon and if you’re camped in some of the wilder regions of the planet you might add bear to the list. In these situations, it is advisable to hang anything that smells strongly of food in a tree away from the camp. The DABUCKET Trash comes fully equipped for that purpose. 100 % Nylon /Polyamide with PU-coating guarantees robustness, easy cleaning and no exposure to harmful plastic softeners. Excessive dirt can be removed by machine washing the bin at 30 degree centigrade. Dutch Oven The Dutch Oven, often referred to simply as a pot (sic), is available here together with a sturdy tripod, a pot stand and, of course, a lid lifter. Although the pot itself is available in three sizes, we only offer it as a set in the two most popular sizes. Of course, the tripod, the lid lifter and the pot stand can also be used with the pound pot (coincidentally also the name of a very popular Dutch Oven dish - but here we mean our 12-quart pot). The pots are also particularly suitable for induction cookers, as well as for all other types (ceramic, open fire, etc.). Please select the desired size.A practical tip from Harry:Tried and tested for travelling: one of the two sets offered here! You can also attach one of these beautiful enamelled percolators to the tripod for making coffee. But be careful! Not all percolators are suitable for this type of coffee preparation! And... the handle can get devilishly hot! Our lid lifter doesn't really help here either. But if anyone knows of a practical way of using the Dutch oven lid lifter with a percolator, please let me knowWhere were we again? Exactly! With our DO sets... ideal for travelling, but probably a little undersized for a garden party. So in itself it's perfectly adequate for a garden party, but not for a G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y!That's when you need our pound pot - and to supplement and round off the food base, you can always find a quick use for the smaller brother. And if you want to serve the much-quoted icing on the cake as a first aid against second hunger late at night: Take a piece of beef of your choice, it should be around 300-400 grams and nicely marbled, and it must be able to fit into the sizzle pan later (a flank steak is really tasty, but completely unsuitable for this), and put it in the oven set to around 55°C, but not immediately taken out of the fridge - preheating is superfluous, unless your G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y is taking place in the Arctic Circle. There, in the oven, it can then remain for a long, really long time, but of course not until the end of time. So don't overdo it! And the following really does apply to this preparation: don't add salt! Garlic, thyme and/or rosemary add a familiar flavour, sage and coriander a less familiar but very interesting one. When your guests' appetite for a savoury or tasty treat reawakens, simply let the Sizzel Pan heat up in the embers and then place the meat inside. 45-60 seconds per side is usually sufficient and a knob of good butter should not be missing. Allow the meat to rest for a few more minutes, then cut into slices and serve, then cut into slices and serve sprinkled with salt (flakes!) and freshly ground pepper. Make sure you try it: Lemon pepper! Further information: Our Dutch ovens can be used over an open fire, on the barbecue, on the hob and also in the kitchen oven. We have deliberately opted for pots without legs, as these can be stored in a more space-saving way and can also be used in the normal kitchen. Our pots are already baked so that you can prepare delicious food straight away.

As a guide in choosing the appropriate for your purpose pot size should serve here one of the most popular Dutch Oven recipes: Layered Meat The 4.2 liter pot is suitable for layered meat, but not predestined. Its volume is sufficient for 4-7 servings. With the 8-liter pot you get enough for 16-20 people. With the 12-liter pot you prepare Schichtfleich for 23-27 people. He is the ideal party pot. The portion or person calculation is of course very much dependent on the chosen dish, of possible side dishes etc. our dutch oven are already branded! Please note: A lid lifter is NOT included! The Nakatanenga backpack When product design becomes a matter of survival, as in military equipment, the principle of reduction applies to the maximum. The superfluous or useless is mercilessly sorted out and each part is charged with as many functions as possible. Therefore, it is never wrong to take tactical equipment as a model to make everyday products better. This is what we did with our new backpack and created an all-rounder, which is due to its practical properties as a Bug Out / Survival Bag as well as a daypack for school, university or work. Ergonomically, we paid attention to wearing comfort. Depending on the package, four adjustable straps ensure stability and comfort. Removable chest and waist straps reduce weight on the shoulders for greater stability when running, climbing or cycling. The mesh padding on the back is especially pleasant on longer tours. Due to the better ventilation, it reduces the sweat through the clothes. A variety of compartments and pockets with a total volume of about 17l provides maximum flexibility when stowing equipment or everyday objects. For long backpacking tours even a hydration can be used. The drinking tube can be passed through a specially designed opening on the handle. Straps on the straps and LaserCut MOLLE on the front and sides make it possible to individually attach additional packs and utensils such as our bottle holder. In design and execution, two things were important to us. On the one hand, the quality of materials and workmanship typical of Nakatanenga. A highlight here are YKK's inside-out zippers, which keep dust and water out. On the other hand, we also wanted to implement the tactical "Gray Man" principle with this backpack. The chic but simple unisex design with the gray main color attracts no unwanted attention. Whether in the safety-related job or on uncomfortable corners on holiday, with this backpack you disappear very easily and unrecognized in the gray, anonymous crowd. "Gray Man", an effective form of self-protection. Advantages: Robustness, durability and high quality workmanship Clear equipment Pleasant wearing comfort due to optimal padding The chest strap is designed to reduce pressure from the shoulders Ergonomic shoulder straps and waist belt are easy to adjust and adjust in length Many useful compartments / pockets for storing a variety of stuff Various attachment loops for attaching additional bags etc. Casual style and innovative, unique design For women as well as for men (unisex) Ideal for camping, hiking, shopping, cycling, school, university, ... Material & dimensions: 100% nylon Main material with PU coating Waterproof Colors: RAL8000 & RAL9007 / Coyote YKK zips inside-out. The closures are thus dust-proof and water-repellent. YKK is the market leader for innovative zipper solutions made of metal and plastic. Duraflex (UTX) buckles, click and snap fasteners Volume: approx. 17 L Width 30 cm Note: The bottle pouch shown on the pictures does not come with this item. We deliberately chose not to include a fixed bottle pouch in order to preserve the slim design. A bottle pouch that can be attached to the side is available here.

Outdoor Shower Tube with Spiral Hose The dust is settling, the light is fading. The hot Diesel engine is happily ticking away as it’s cooling down and all the chores are done. The awning is up, seats and tables unfolded and even the roof tent is ready. That’s the moment when you realize how sweaty and sticky you are from a long day behind the wheel. A kingdom for a shower, in the middle of nowhere! No worries, we’ve been on the case and this is what we‘ve come up with: A mounted shower unit for overlanders, campers and adventurers. Nakatanenga shower tubes are attached to the side of a CargoBear or any other roof rack. You fill it with the amount of water you need, pressurize the tank with air to guarantee consistent water flow and off you go. During the day, the tube’s black PE material provides free solar off-grid heating for the water, no energy input required, no CO2 emissions. Isn’t that just great at the end of a tough day? The shower tubes come in three sizes – 1,240, 2,100 und 2,750 mm – respectively giving you volumes of 9.4, 17.5 and 23.7 l. We deliver the tubes with CargoBear mounting brackets, tap, handheld shower head and spiral hose pipe. You can attach your own accessories to the ½” connector, of course. The shower tubes is a really neat solution for all your muddy outdoor hobbies, too. How often have you wished you could just quickly hose down clothes, boots, sports equipment or pets before getting into the 4x4 or loading it up? We know. Since the tubes are not equipped with safety valves, we recommend using regular bicycle hand or foot pumps to pressurize them. Manually created pressure will be perfectly sufficient to create a constant flow of water. Brackets for other roof racks than the CargoBear have to be ordered separately. Available in:3 different lengthsWithout holder, with holder for roof rack CargoBear, with holder for other roof racksFor the variants with holders: short includes two holders, medium and long includes three holders Please note:The tube should not be filled to the brim.We recommend a maximum pressure of 2 bar / 29 psiThe tube cannot be attached to a slanted CargoBear extension Some individual parts supplied may differ from the pictures!

„His life was hanging by a thread” – everybody knows the phrase to describe situations where survival is at stake. Luckily, modern synthetic high-performance threads make these circumstances much less precarious as the phrase suggests. So why not rely on strings or cords made from such threads in your wilderness adventures?
If you regularly encounter extreme outdoor conditions in your hobby or your job, you need light, durable and multi-purpose equipment which gives you the most performance per pound. Apart from a good knife, a length of good string is part of the absolute essentials in Bushcraft. Among other things, our Survival Cord will help you (in alphabetical order) to attach, carry, clean, dress wounds, fasten, fish, girdle, guide, hang, hunt, label, patch, repair, rig, save, saw, secure, signal, splice, splint, thread, tie, tow, trap, warn, weave and much, much more.
The Nakatanenga cord sports a Kernmantle-style structure, an extremely light yet highly tearproof synthetic material, which, incidentally, we also use in our heavy duty winch cables. But in contrast to these ropes, the Survival Cord is only an astonishing 1.7 mm thin, while still boasting a breaking load of incredible 250 kg. That is more or less the weight for standard survival paracords, which in turn are usually more than twice as thick, though. Carry our Nakatanenga cord with you and it’ll be a load off your mind.
You can use the 33 m length of string in your survival pouch or backpack to weave a thicker rope for emergencies. Another good idea is to take about 2 m or so to make an equally stylish and handy survival bracelet. How-to videos can be easily found on Youtube. With such a bracelet you’ll always carry your potential lifesavers in different lengths with you, without the risk of losing, forgetting or misplacing them. The ends can be easily sealed with a match or lighter, positively preventing the threads to fray. Another advantage of synthetic fibers.
The Nakatanenga Survival Cord (33 m) comes in Black, Orange, Olive and Coyote.
