Folding saw with 18cm saw blade Few cultures know more about steel and wood than the Japanese. Small wonder then that Japanese saw designs have become very popular in the West. The compact dimensions and the light weight of 220 g make this saw an ideal companion for camping, trekking, bushcraft & survival, hunting or other outdoor pursuits. Trekking axe with wooden handle Real outdoor adventures – from simply camping in nature to expert pursuits like survival or bushcraft – are hard to imagine without an axe or hatchet. The requirements are fairly simple: the tools need to be versatile, durable and safe. They need to cut well and should weigh as little as possible. And since axes and hatchets are among mankind’s oldest tools, the most ergonomic and efficient designs are very often the oldest ones. This handy axe by Spanish manufacturer Bellota is made in the tradition of the Biscayne trade axes, a very old, traditional design from the Basque region that has made its biggest impact during the colonization of North America. The Biscayne style features a straight top of the axe head, a short blade and a slightly rounded edge. The head is forged from a single piece of steel, making it very long-lived and virtually indestructible. The straight handle is 38cm or 60cm long and has a conic joint connection with the head – guaranteeing a great degree of safety and it also prevents the axe head from loosening due to impact forces or physical influences like changes in temperature or moisture of the wood. Bellota’s Biscayne axe is great for chopping firewood, trimming branches or felling thin trees. An axe for all situations, at home or in the bush. The Axzt with 38cm wooden shaft is also available in a bundle with Swiss pioneer pick and folding saw with matching storage bag.

Off-road shovel At home, when off-roading or doing other outdoor activities - anyone who has to do major digging work from time to time should have a good and versatile shovel to hand. The long Bellota spade shovel combines the basic elements of a jeep shovel, such as the one that gave its name to the Willys Jeep - a pointed blade with treads and a D-handle - with a handle that is longer in this case. This makes the Bellota a real all-rounder for shovelling loose soil, gravel, sand or snow, as well as for cutting and digging in hard ground and mud. The materials and ergonomic design of the long shovel enable effortless and back-friendly work at home, in the camp or when off-roading.The pointed Bellota shovel blades, including the handle holder, are stamped from a single piece of steel and are heat-treated for extreme strength and a long service life. The extra-wide, comfortable D-handle with soft-touch material makes work even easier. Nakatanenga demountable barbecue / fire bowl made of carbon steel, including accessories Camp fires are as old as mankind. Maybe that’s why we have such an intense relationship with open flames, glowing embers and – of course – grilled food. Hand on heart, is there anything more satisfying on a camping or weekend trip than sitting around a real fire with family and friends? Our brand new modular fire pit with grill and skewers can be put together and packed away in no time. Plates and stands are made from 4 mm steel. They are uncoated, so that barbecuing food is absolutely safe in our Nakatangenga brazier. Moreover, the lack of paints or coatings will also allow the steel to develop a beautiful patina over time – telling the story of so many good times around the fire! The individual metal elements are precision milled and are simply slotted into each other. Once assembled, the pit’s precision engineering makes sure everything holds tightly together. And since there are neither nuts nor bolts involved, you’ll never lose any small fastening parts as with other assembly kits. The solid short ends of the brazier include the stands and are made from a single sheet of metal each. Two feet on one end and a single one on the other create a firm tripod stand. This makes positioning the fire bowl always safe and easy, even on rough surfaces. If you have soft earth or snow, you can push the stands deep into the ground like a spade, ensuring rock solid stability. The side elements feature aeration holes to guarantee proper oxygenation for your fire or your embers. All around the top of the fire pit, you will find plenty of notches to securely place the grill or the skewers. Last but not least, the kit also features a sturdy pack bag made of high-quality nylon, reinforced with truck tarpaulin – guaranteeing safe and comfortable transport of your disassembled fire pit. The bag’s exterior and the skewer pouch are made from easy-to-clean nylon. As always with our own in-house textile products, we make sure that all straps, buckles and seams are extra-strong. That makes the bag probably as indestructible as the fire pit itself. Enjoy our mobile camp fire! Survival cord 1.7 mm, 4 different colors „His life was hanging by a thread” – everybody knows the phrase to describe situations where survival is at stake. Luckily, modern synthetic high-performance threads make these circumstances much less precarious as the phrase suggests. So why not rely on strings or cords made from such threads in your wilderness adventures? If you regularly encounter extreme outdoor conditions in your hobby or your job, you need light, durable and multi-purpose equipment which gives you the most performance per pound. Apart from a good knife, a length of good string is part of the absolute essentials in Bushcraft. Among other things, our Survival Cord will help you (in alphabetical order) to attach, carry, clean, dress wounds, fasten, fish, girdle, guide, hang, hunt, label, patch, repair, rig, save, saw, secure, signal, splice, splint, thread, tie, tow, trap, warn, weave and much, much more. The Nakatanenga cord sports a Kernmantle-style structure, an extremely light yet highly tearproof synthetic material, which, incidentally, we also use in our heavy duty winch cables. But in contrast to these ropes, the Survival Cord is only an astonishing 1.7 mm thin, while still boasting a breaking load of incredible 250 kg. That is more or less the weight for standard survival paracords, which in turn are usually more than twice as thick, though. Carry our Nakatanenga cord with you and it’ll be a load off your mind. You can use the 33 m length of string in your survival pouch or backpack to weave a thicker rope for emergencies. Another good idea is to take about 2 m or so to make an equally stylish and handy survival bracelet. How-to videos can be easily found on Youtube. With such a bracelet you’ll always carry your potential lifesavers in different lengths with you, without the risk of losing, forgetting or misplacing them. The ends can be easily sealed with a match or lighter, positively preventing the threads to fray. Another advantage of synthetic fibers. The Nakatanenga Survival Cord (33 m) comes in Black, Orange, Olive and Coyote.
