TREKFINDER Fuel filler cap cover for Land Rover Defender The recessed fuel tank cavity is a typical Defender detail, dating back to very different times. Today’s average drivers would probably shake their heads in disapproval, but Landy enthusiasts will cherish the excentricity and immediately set their minds to fixing the design’s obvious short-comings with a little Defender hack. For a long time, we had been able to offer one of those nifty little fixes under the product name Defendoor, made by a Czech company.Sadly, both the company and their fabulous product are no longer in existence, but since we still register a lot of demand for fueling cavity covers, we got together with Defender specialists TREKFINDER and breathed new life into the idea.The cover is as simple as it is effective when it comes to keeping out water, snow, ice, salt, spray, mud and dust. It will also add to the rugged good looks of your Defender. Made from sturdy but slightly flexible high-quality synthetics, it is kept in position by a groove running around the sides. There is no need for screws or rivets or moving parts to hold it securely in place. When fueling, simply press the cover in and remove it from the fueling cavity. The material is UV- and temperature-resistant, guaranteeing long product life and long-lasting quality. Nakatanenga Connector Fuel Lines The factory installed connector plugs on the Land Rover Defender Td5 fuel system are fragile (especially on older vehicles) and often break off the first time they are disconnected. This tends to happen during the following operations: Fuel cooler installation/removal Fuel tank installation/removal Installing/removing the fuel pump General work on the fuel system Until now, the solution was to buy an expensive set of hoses. Now the Nakatanenga connecting plugs are available as an inexpensive alternative in a practical set of four. The plugs, turned for us from high-strength aluminium, are also much more stable than the original parts.

Fuel filler nozzle for Land Rover Defender Td5 2.5, Td4 2.4 and Td4 2.2 The fuel extractor for the Land Rover Defender 90/110/130 Td5 2.5, Td4 2.4 and Td4 2.2 enables the auxiliary heater to be supplied with diesel without the time-consuming and labour-intensive removal of the fuel tank.The fuel is extracted by looping the extractor into the hose between the vehicle's fuel nozzle and tank and is therefore possible without removing or drilling into the tank. The fuel dispenser is suitable for various parking heaters, including Webasto Airtop 2000 and Eberspächer Airtronic D2.The fuel filler cap can be flexibly bent, allowing you to control whether the parking heater can completely empty the vehicle's tank or whether a fuel reserve should remain. Diesel replacement pump for Land Rover Defender Td5 w. Installation kit
Diesel replacement pump for Land Rover Defender Td5 w. Installation kit The problem of the susceptible diesel pump on the TD5 is well known: Even comparatively minor contamination can cause the diesel pump to fail. Annoyingly, the original pump is located in the tank, which means that you first have to remove the tank to access the diesel pump.Our replacement diesel pump is not installed in the tank but outside, which makes it easy to access and it also has a replaceable filter. This can be easily replaced in the event of contamination. The pump is located outside the tank and is looped into the line. The fine filter mounted on the suction side gets all dirt and grime out of the diesel base and is easy and inexpensive to replace (see replacement filter). The original pump must be removed and replaced with a suction hose. The pump housing with tank sensor, however, remains.The pump works with any tank or auxiliary tank. Since the pump also has suction power, it does not have to be installed at the lowest point. The connection is made via LR quick-release couplings or optionally via normal diesel hoses. The pump is installed outside the tank in a protected place. On the Defender 110, for example, above the rear axle on the chassis beam. Our pre-assembled complete kit with replacement filter comes with detailed installation instructions. The tank must be removed for installation, as the original pump is removed.
