License plate holder for NAWIBU winch bumper Our heavy duty Nakatanenga winching bumper for classic Defenders is the perfect mounting solution for winches. The entire winching unit stays well protected behind the bumper and the winching cable runs smoothly through the integrated winch window in the middle of the bumper. Normally, this is where the license plate is positioned and that brings us to the problem and our simultaneously elegant and quick solution. Our custom made number plate holder is simply screwed into the fastening holes of the winching window, making it possible to mount the number plate more or less in its usual position. The winch’s functionality is in no way restricted or impeded, of course. The number plate holder is made from aluminum and features a matte black powder coating (RAL9005) which perfectly matches the look of the winching bumper. Storage compartment footwell for Land Rover Defender TD4/TD5 Every Landy draws attention, for sure, but often enough it’s the unwanted kind from thieves and car burglars. That’s where this nifty and inconspicuous modification comes in for Defender models Td5 and Td4 (90/110/130) – whether camping conversion, expedition vehicle or your regular standard spec Landy. Our hidden underfloor locker for the front footwell is integrated in the floor panel and thereby creates a lot more security for your valuables. Secured by a lock, dust- and watertight and in most cases hidden by floor mats, the underfloor boxes are the ideal storage space for all those extremely important small things: documents, passports, wallets, expensive electronics, gadgets, tools, medication etc. Sporting a volume of ca. 7 liters, this roughly square storage box will hold an astounding amount of your most valuable items. Since the boxes are mounted underneath the footwell floor, we make them from extremely robust, powder-coated stainless steel. Installing the assembly kits for Td5/Td4 in the right or left front seat footwells is really simple. Other areas in the vehicle body are also suitable for mounting the locker, the cargo hold for example. In these cases, you can order the box also without the panel. If you own non-standard Defenders or older models, where the Td5/Td4 panels won’t fit, you should also choose the “locker only” option. The same applies if you simply want to make the cuts yourself in the existing floor panels. Important during installation: the flattened edge of the box must always face the centre of the vehicle during installation!
