High-performance silicone hoses for turbochargers and intercoolers They are suitable for the Land Rover Defender with all diesel engine options as well as for selected models of the Land Rover Discovery 1/2/3 and Range Rover. The polyester-reinforced silicone hoses are tougher and thicker than the manufacturer's original hoses, making them more suitable for heavy-duty applications (such as towing, performance-enhanced vehicles and desert driving). The operating temperature ranges from -40° to +180° Celsius. The hoses are also designed for higher pressures - this is especially important for performance-enhanced engines. In addition, they do not delaminate or their surface does not peel off. The colour of the silicone hoses is black. For the Land Rover Defender TD4 2.2l there are 2 different versions. Intermediate shaft for MT82 gear
For more stability and smooth running Improved intermediate shaft for the MT82 gearbox in the Land Rover Defender TD4 / TDCi / Puma 2.4 / 2.2 Known problem: The intermediate shaft on the TD4 / TDCi / Puma 2.4 / 2.2 models is not greased and is not supplied with oil. The connection of the two-part intermediate shaft wears out after prolonged use, since the shaft with the outer gear rim is in direct contact with the shaft with the inner gear rim. In the worst case, this wear causes the ring gear to shear off and the vehicle to stop. Regular greasing of the ring gear helps, but is very cumbersome in the long run. Our solution: The improved intermediate shaft supplies itself with the oil of the gearbox and thus prevents the shafts from wearing out. Easy and uncomplicated!

Effective help with power loss: vacuum can as a spare part If you’re experiencing performance problems with the turbo, the problem can be as simple as a faulty, leaky or seized actuator. The actuator is pneumatically regulated, purely mechanical and is designed to open the wastegate in the turbo charger. At high load, a good part of the hot exhaust gases are thus diverted directly into the exhaust system without propelling the turbo beyond its own safety limits and the critical boost pressure for the engine. Generally speaking, if your turbo stops working correctly, Land Rover will only supply the entire turbo assembly. But if the fault lies only with the actuator, you can order the module as a separate replacement part from us. In many cases, that can solve your problem without having to resort to buying a complete turbo assembly. Installing the new actuator in the Td5’s turbo is fairly easy. Simply screw it onto the bracket and attach both the actuator arm to the wastegate mechanism and the pressure hose to the actuator. Assuming your adjustment screw on the old actuator was in the correct position, simply set the new actuator’s arm to the same length to achieve the correct settings.

THE ALL NEW EXTREMEspec MT82 output shaft kit from LOF On Defenders with 2.4 and 2.2 Tdci Puma engines, it is a very common fault that the coupling shaft between the MT82 gearbox and the Lt230 transfer box wears out and fails! This is due to the shaft’s original two-part design with a dry splined coupling. Without grease, the grinding of metal on metal wears down the spines and eventually you’ll notice first a clunking noise and ultimately a total loss of drive. Solutions with specially greased OEM parts were unable to fix the problem, so the specialists at LOF have come up with a solid one-piece design for the coupling shaft to replace the splined coupling. LOF is so convinced by this EXTREMEspec innovation, that they offer a lifelong warranty on the component. De-cat pipe for Land Rover Defender Td4 2.4 and Td5 2.5 replaces standard catalytic converter and thus reduces back pressure in the exhaust system. Better airflow of exhaust gases and thus better throttle response. POWERslave for Td5 Discovery and Defender Heavy clutches with high pedal weight are a known phenomenon especially in Td5 Defenders (1998-2006) but also in many Td5 Discovery models (1998-2004). But there’s a simple and cost-effective solution for anyone experiencing problems with the heavy pedal. Installing a POWERslave slave cylinder will reduce the pedal weight by up to 30% in comparison to the original set-up. Please note: the POWERslave cylinder lowers the biting point of the clutch. On Defenders, the biting point can be adjusted in the pedal box. On Discovery 2 models, where the pedal box is not adjustable, we recommend installing the slave cylinder only after the clutch is worn in after a few thousand miles. Replaces the main silencer: MSD exhaust pipe 110 SPEZIAL for Tdi Motorsport accessory, not street legal The “effects” are: Sonorous sound and significantly lower back pressure, which also reduces the temperature at the manifold. The sound is “rich” - just as it should be for a diesel. It is not noticeably louder when the windows in the interior are closed. Of course, the whole thing is not road-legal and can therefore only be driven on non-public roads or abroad.
