Our new cruise control puts an end to that.Now, at the touch of a button, Defender will maintain the desired cruising speed. However, cheap plastic mounts are usually a waste of money and not everyone wants to stick suction cups to their windows either. Our mounting plates for the side handles on the dashboard of the New Defender are designed to support heavy duty mounts – like those from market leader RAM Mounts. The plate’s tight hold makes sure that nothing wobbles, collapses or falls off. But most of all, there are no suction cups involved as they tend to come loose when off-roading or speeding along bumpy dirt roads.The mounting plate is powder-coated black to match the interior of the new Landy and you simply fasten it with the existing screws of the handle. No drilling is required and removal is as easy as installation. Three strong, internally threaded 6 mm screw holes (M6) allow you to mount ball joints, brackets and other mounting equipment, either from RAM Mounts or other brands.
