Repair kit shift linkage / transfer case The transfer box on a Defender not only transmits the power from the engine two both axles, it also houses the middle diff lock as well as the reduction gearbox. The linkage connecting the transfer box to the low ratio/diff lock stick is naturally prone to heavy wear and tear. The repair kits give you the option to completely replace all worn bushes, bolts and the hexagon screw in the linkage. Nut, washers and SL retaining clips for the bolts are all included. Repair panel rear sump for Defender 110 Td4, Td5 and TDI Rust thrives best when it is hidden, especially when corners, angles or edges favour the constant accumulation of water and damp dirt. This is why Defender 110 Station Wagons often have hidden rust spots under the rear seat bench mount or on the frame holder. To avoid having to replace the entire base plate of the rear tub in the event of advanced contact corrosion, we now offer an exclusive, easy-to-fit repair kit for the particularly susceptible area under the seat bench. The kit consists of the main plate, two side parts and sufficient rivets. For installation (see pictures), the existing welding points on the rear tub are first drilled out. The sheet metal is then simply positioned accordingly, glued in place with body sealant and fixed at the sides with clamps. Once dry, drill the sheet metal at the pre-drilled welding points and insert the rivets. The two side panels are then attached in the same way. Differential lock mounting kit for the Land Rover Defender - Precise retrofitting made easy

To facilitate the installation of the standard differential locks (Detroit Truetrac / Detroit Locker / KAM Locker) in the Rover and P38 axles of the Defender, we have put together an installation kit which contains all the necessary materials. It is NOT suitable for the Salisbury axle!

Comes with:

  • 2 bearings RTC3095OE
  • 3 litres of hypoid gear oil GL5
  • Petec silicone sealant
  • thread sealant, intermediate strength

This kit does not substitute the necessary technical expertise and accuracy when fitting a diff locker. If you don't feel up to the job, please have a specialised  garage do the fitting as otherwise expensive damage to both locker and axle might ensue.

After re-filling the diffs there will remain a rest of about 1/2 liter. This can be used for topping up the axles at a later time or to top up the LT230 transmission gearbox.
